Set Yourself up For Success - Get Your Backswing Perfect

- Hi everyone,
Firstly my apologies for the 24hr delay in getting the video out to you, unfortunately I haven’t been feeling my best so haven’t been able to get out to film.
We both getting in a impact position as the most important in golf,  being able to get in the best backswinging position you can, will make the downing into the ball so much easier.
As us golfers know, from the top of the backswing into impact happens in a split second, so are awareness time and being able to influence the club is limited. So being able to get into the backswing position that helps with better sequence coming down into the ball, will make this so much easier.
In this video, I talk about the four H’s this can be a reminder to how you can juggle these four elements of the backswing. It’s much easier to be able to work on the body parts on the backswing, because of the speed of the backswing, it’s more of a putting part of the swing, Compared to the more letting go and quicker, part of the swing into impact.

Great tips, especially the hip turn movement, which turned out to be a game changer for me when I found it. Really like your style of teaching, explaining fully why and what you're teaching instead of just showing everyone how far you can hit a ball. Hope you're back to full health 👍

Thanks Warren... Love your stuff! You have such a kind and complete way of emphasizing all your great instruction. In terms of the wrist hinge, I find it easier to push down on the heel of the left palm and pull up with the 1st 2 fingers of the right hand. This forces the club to go parellel to the target line..not up and down.. forming a Claw with your right hand at the top... great striking position... thoughts?

Warren, I always feel as a RH player, my left wrist cocks and right wrist more hinge than cocks to support the club at the top.
UA-cam is full of mixed terminology. To me wrists cock up and down, and hinge side to side, but easy to remember 4H👍
Iv never hinged my wrists like this more of a backcock with the right wrist
Hey warren, is the takeaway the same for the driver? Keeping the face looking at the ball or is there a height difference in the backswing
