Where did you find the tank emblem
Thanks from down under mate. Just picked up my brand new road king special and was depressed with how quiet it was. (My new Rinehart exhaust is 2 months away.)
Seen your video and got the die grinder out. Sounds 100 times better now! 👍
Sounds so much better!
can you tell me what is the diameter of the smaller end of the baffle?
Sir, you have on one AWESOME shirt! RN4L!
Damn I like it! I’m gonna do this on my 2020 StreetGlide!
If you have any questions message me on Instagram on how to remove the baffles. Hit me up @tonyg_76
@@tonygarcia6909 Thanks! Just followed
you
Did you also remove the cats from the headers?
For those asking about negatives, or tuning, yes there are negatives, you will lose torque unless you tune it, but that’s the same as putting on aftermarket tips without baffles, and if you still have a factory air box you won’t get much out of a tune, other than compensating for the easier breathing of your motor. To do it right, you should buy a better air cleaner, and get it dyno’d after, this just saves you the $400 on pipes.
Try 1500$ lmao
No rip, there are good slip ons for less.
That's a nice bike. You need some of those bag guards so if you ever drop it
Check on my Instagram
thanks for the vid! just did this to my bike 😀 do you have a link to the tank decals you got?
Tank decal I bought at harley davidson dealer for $10bucks, I did have to cut it to fit
With baffle removal? Do gain or lose HP and do you need to get a tuner even if you remove baffles?
Just purchased a 2022 bones stock RGS , parts are backed ordered..
The hole saw would worked than the disk if you had used a good ac powered drill,. The disk is designed to cut in a perpendicular angle to its edge
Does that make the Check engine light come on
I’ve been riding it to work and no check engine light has turned on
Cool...but 1 question....in all of these videos that I come across about removing baffles, why don't any of you just remove the muffler from the bike, then work on them? Put a moving blanket in the jaws of a vise and boom! You guys are off the ground! Also....you have a clear path on both ends. Happy riding!
Why make extra work? It would take longer to take the exhaust off than it does to take the baffles out.
Bad neighbor..... but i love it
Do you have to get the bike tuned after doing this? I have a 2019 Electra glide and I’ve had a few people tell me that you must have it tuned after removing the baffles
I haven’t had any issues, I’ve done it to a 2019 one as well and it’s fine
@Craig Richmond, it’s recommended but not required
Yes and you will have less power than if you left them in and did a tune
Is there anything negative coming out of doing this?
Nope it just makes it sound better
It sounds like a 2011 chevy Silverado at high idle
Do you have to remove the packing or does it just help amplify the noise?
Yes remove the packing
Did you lose low end torque when you removed your baffles? And is it to loud now?
@jamesSmith, no loss torque shifts really strong
Did you paint the tank emblem mine is red?
Mine is red also, what I did was buy the harley-davidson emblems and put them on @gixxer
Which ones did you order to get the right size
Did you have to tune it after the baffle removal
No I didn't have to ,if I do my air intake than I will have too
Did you lose any torque
Nope
No officer.....i don't know why you pulled me over.
What about the sensor , there's no isues ??
@Franciscomartinez2952 ,no sensor lights or any issues
No sensor issue
Did you notice performance cut or increase?
Performance was way better with the makita 3in disk over the hole saw
Hahaha.
I wonder how much your height in cm?
HOW IS THE BIKE NOT TAKING OFF WHEN YOU PRESS THE THROTTLE?!?!
you have to train your bike to stay until called for.
@@thejakein7867 great answer
@@thejakein7867 lmfao perfect answer
The N on the dashboard stands for Nimrod
Put it in wumbo
Just say no to baffles kids 🤘🤘🤘🇺🇸
Zazoo
See
bro! you should be wearing a mask when handling Fiberglass.
Dam that’s a lot
Everyone, Let's go without baffuls!😎🎶
Don’t you get a ticket if your bike is too loud?
Nope
Depends where you are some places definitely yes
That’s the sound of a hog.
Need to remove that cat as well for full flow
you lost your back pressure
It's no fun being deaf. But go for it.
Why not just fire up the bike and blow it all out?
that's right! send that shit down the road as opposed to handling it
It’s compact in there. Lol it won’t come out that easy. His actually came out smooth. I had to rip mines out piece by piece
I mean no disrespect here. I'm a contractor of 39 years. The moment I saw you pulling that fiberglass out with no mask on being that up close, and then when you wheel out your bike and fire it up you can actually see airborne pieces floating around everywhere around you, not good brother. You were breathing that shit in.
Relax it’s only a 1 time deal bro. Even if u have a mask u still breathe in some particles. Over your 39 years even with protection you’ve probably breathed in more
That will void any warranty.
Don't forget to tune it after.
