I've done this for a couple of sets. It's a LOT of frustration. My Prismas & Polys are kept in your family order & I use your sheets, laminated, nearly every day. (My cat ripped apart the first un-laminated sheets I had. 🐈) So, thank you for all your work and the swatch sheets. Much appreciated. 💜
Thank you Claire for making this great color chart. I have found that these pencils are one of the hardest pencils to color sort. The colors are not the usual colors that are found in every other pencil set.
Thank You Claire, it's so beautiful the way you've created these family order it's highly appreciated it, so big hugs for your hadr work to please for the link to print this chart! 👌👌👌Awesome work Claire.
These charts are so helpful for a newbie like me. I finally ordered a full set of Prismacolor Premiers which should arrive in a week or two. I then went to your site and hunted up your Prismacolor chart and downloaded it. It's a couple of years old, so I'll have to futz with the two discontinued colors I guess, but that's minor. I so appreciate all the work that goes into these. What a wonderful service.
Thank you so much for this chart Claire I have downloaded it ready to colour tomorrow also thank you for all your hard work it’s very much appreciated ❤
These are the best colored pencils really creamy but don’t break. Problem is you can’t make every color with the level of lightfastness and permanent they require. It’s an awesome set but need another set to have all the colors needed for very intricate and detailed work. I love these pencils they are thick leads and last forever so the price does even out.
I am so thrilled to get your family charts for all three of the sets of pencils. As I look at each one in it’s case this arrangement makes color choices so much clearer for a new colorist. Do you think you might be making a family chart for the Pablo pencils? I certainly hope so. Thank you you for all the time and effort you have exerted on the charts you have shared with everyone
I didn't hope for it anymore... And now, I will finally be able to empty my box of all my little samples because I have, here, the perfect color chart that I was trying to obtain! (I especially had difficulties with the blues...) A big thank you for this precious and generous sharing. (nb/My favorites with the "luminances" are the "derwent drawing" that I'm going to try to insert in this color chart, do you think that's possible? ... A sweet madness, I think... But hey, "Qui ne tente rien...."!) Thank you again for these shared hours and for the printable color chart. Sincerely, Lya.
Hi Claire. It’s my birthday today and I‘’m thinking about treating myself with a set of lumminance. How do you feel about them? Are they worth the money? Even for something like adult colloring?
They’re the crème de la crème of coloured pencils- definitely worth the purchase. However if you’re not bothered about Lightfastness you really don’t need to spend that kind of money xx
You are SO kind!! Thank you for doing this. I tried my hand at making a color chart for alcohol markers and WHEW, that was a lot of work and I did NOT like the end result. Just too small for me.
@@ColourwithClaire thanks for the advice, i will take a look even if i dont understand french. Your charts are much nicer though.. maybe someday you are in the mood of a super proyect, doing an ultimate color chart of Luminance-Lightfast and Polychromos… ? 😜
This happened to me, just click fit to print option in the pdf printing dialog box if you are using Adobe. Paper size in the UK is slightly different than US
@@ColourwithClaire Thank you. I printed it and swatched out my luminance and prismacolor pencils. This is so helpful to keep the colors in family order. Thanks so much. Any chance you might do a color family order for the Caran D'ache Pablo's?
Was wondering if you know a pencil extender for the Caran d'Ache luminance pencils. I am struggling to find one that fits my luminance and my pastel pencils along with the Polychromos.
@@ColourwithClaire Thanks. I do have a question on one of the colors. I have the 100 set and do not have Chrysocolla blue. do you know if this was a name change?
I like your carefully worked out color family charts - I find it very helpful and use the basic premise on my other sets of colored pencils. Btw, In Amazon.USA - I saw the Caran d'Ache Luminance full 100 qty set sold by several store thru amazon, dick black, etc. I remember that the price of the 100 qty set was high sa it was only being sold in the wooden box option, not the tin. I also read a review, maybe The Art Gear Guy on UA-cam (?) don't quote me) but that Caran d'Ache was selling the original 76 qty set for a very good price along with a set made up of the new 24 colors. The choices would vary depending on what country you lived in, what restrictions are in place to mail internationally, etc, etc. I don't know it that helps your casual query about the ability of buying the entire 100 qty Luminance set.

Cant find printable family charts for my colouring pencils. I use Nassau fine art pencils. I'm just started, so I only have 1 kind colouring pencils.
Bonjour j’aimerais sa savoir si vous avez une chartes de couleur des black widows ainsi monarch et dragon dans une seule feuille
Quick question. I just tried to print this on 8.5 X 11 Bristol Vellum 147 and the image won't fit on my page. What size paper shouls I use?
PDFs should be able to be resized to your spec, you might have to mess around with the settings

How do I get the chart to download?
