I still can't believe this was first found by Joel (supposedly one of his mods sent it to him), who then sent it to Mike for Finger Family night who then months later told Vinny about it during a charity stream who then watched the first episode at the start of his segment and the other 2 at a later date after a goal was reached.
The Family Gal pipeline is a scary one, but it at least was for charity in the end.
Imagine these children who were helped by the charity looking up the guys who sent those donations and coming across this.
I swear every time some random India studio decides to imitate "American" media, it comes off as unhinged and surreal.

AI generated content has become such a scapegoat that people are kinda forgetting that manmade content can be just as incompetently made.

I really wish people would stop claiming every poor quality show or movie is AI. There are very specific tells that something is AI. And having worked with it myself, I would rather hire people off deviantart for bottom dollar to do a whole movie than use AI.
Literally every time I hear someone claim a production was AI it's turned out it was a low budget ripoff, foreign cash grab, or was made entirely by one person.
Poor quality does not mean a robot made it. It usually means the makers did a bad job.

@@kattimate No not really. If you showed this to someone who had no idea what they were in for, and prompted with that question. They would say AI, and it's not because it was the first things they thought of. When the person in question watches the intro and watches a few minutes or even seconds of the actual show, they would probably say it is ai simply due to the monotone voice acting that shows no genuine humane emotion, not to mention, the art style itself also looks a bit ai.
@@AzuleaFlair There is no A.I. that can produce this cheap, tweened puppet animation like this yet, we're probably a year away from when someone makes that a possibility. A.I Voice Synthesis could actually be better than what's in this show tbh. This is just some really cheap Flash-like animation from India, which also explains the terrible music, voice acting, dialogue and everything else about this. People have been making animations with this level of quality for as long as UA-cam has been popular.
When robots inevitably subjugate humanity, they'll torture us with horrible AI-created shows such as this

You hit it spot on! This feels less like something churned out by an AI, and more like someone tried to make an adult version of all those Elsagate/Sonicgate cartoons. It's looking at stuff like this that makes me think we were too hard on the likes of Bigmouth, or Brickleberry, or Paradise PD, or Farzar. Because, regardless of what you think of those shows, but at least those shows feel like there was some legit talent behind them, as opposed something like this that feels like something that was mechanically dumped out of some sweatshop!
Idk man, there's only 3 episodes of Family Gal, and Big Mouth has 7 God Damn seasons. The same studio made that Better Call Saul spinoff with a fart joke that made me contemplate swallowing buck shot. Family Gal is Beffelingly bad, the studios who make Big Mouth Clones are masochists.

As an American, we know this. "Bollywood" movies have carved out at least a small niche here, and several here (forget the titles, sorry) have played to good reviews from the critics.

I mean Roadside Romeo isn’t terrible either. It just needed a few adjustments and a little bit of polish. There was a lot there, it just needed some more time in the oven so to speak
@@dr.altoclef9255 Yes! I've even gone through the thought-exercise of trying to make a "better" Roadside Romeo. The concept and basic characters were decent, but (at least based on what I saw in Saber's video) the writing wasn't quite ready for prime time.

Then like, have Charlie take the cat’s words to heart. Realize that he kind of likes the idea of someone not being afraid of him. Someone who’s ready to call him out on his behavior…

I watched this recently (I watched Vinesauce watch it) and I really don't think it's AI. That bit about cheaters, "The guy was cheating and I all man are cheaters" was meant to be a joke about how she was obviously cheating being that she has two kids of different races but similar ages.
It looks like one of those "tell your story" videos where they animate "real" stories by "real" people who emailed their story to the channel

@@playtimeplay4518The idea isn't that this is directly out of TTS, rather that someone plugged their entire script into a translation program, had TTS read it, and then just repeated what the TTS said with the same tone as it.
i first watched this through vinesauce's videos on it, and watching them a second time on your stream made them surprisingly more comprehensible than i thought was possible
I feel less like this was done by AI and more like it wasn't written in English, and then the script was run through Google Translate (or an even worse translation app) and then voice acted by ESL speakers that aren't good with the language so they just read the script phonetically. Edit: Damn lol Saber came to the same conclusion
If family Gal did one good thing - it gave me an opportunity to edit a gun to Sabers head.

I'm getting increasingly annoyed at people going "is this AI?!" at anything they don't immediately understand. Aside from showing a complete lack of understanding of what AI even is (basically algorithms under a more marketable name) or how animation software works, if people seriously think it's impossible for a Human being to conceive of anything unusual, it goes to show how limited their own imagination is, and it's pretty sad when you have less imagination than the sort of people who make a cheap Family Guy knockoff.

ANON TRENDZ is a low budget Media Company established in Kochi, Kerala (South Western tip of India), mainly focusing their work on distributing and dubbing Malayalam (language spoken in Kerala) and Hindi movies to Arab and English languages, thus explaining their below par animation style and writing (which may originally be written in Malayalam and then google translated to English). I'm actually surprised that this show has gotten this much reach globally, considering the studio isn’t well known even in Kerala, and also the low effort they put into making this. 😅

I heard about it first when Vargskelthor Joel talked about it, then was in the stream when Jabroni Mike showed it, and then recently watched the video Vinny did about, and now I’m seeing way more people outside the Vinesauce sphere talking about it. It’s surely awful, but I’m not convinced it’s AI.
