Riding the 'Elevator of Death' in Prague

- Valentin, from France, tries one of the few paternoster lifts in the world. Located at the back of Prague City Hall, Czech Republic, this elevator is famous for its open compartments. The lift never stops or slows down and for this reason, its construction is banned today.
The footage shows Valentin looking slightly concerned when jumping on the so-called "Elevator of death". He holds the handles very tight. The clip also captures the man's excitement when he gets out of the second open cabin.
The video was filmed by Valentin's mum.

What would happen tho if you didn't get off?
It would go around the top and take you back down. Let’s say you don’t get off the one that goes down well a few seconds later you would be going back up
There's never actually been a death or major injury surprisingly
Elevator of minor injuries not death
I prefer this method of elevators
They have this in the background of The Omen. Scariest part of the movie.
Seems simple enough.
power plants have these and they are much much smaller
I’m not graceful at the best of times, there is no way I would ride that. Not to mention that I’m claustrophobic and afraid of heights! I think I’ll just take the stairs! 😊
Plot twist: there are no stairs 😂
WTF😜
It is escalator not elavator !
