I am going to do roof work on a steep roof with a 1/2 inch safety rope that I already own connected at the peak. I want to move up and down the roof to do work with both hands free when I get to the roof spot to work on. Will the Notch Glide Rope Glide work for me in case I fall and keep me from sliding off the roof ?
It's intended as a semi-permanent lanyard device, not a general use rope grab. As such, I really appreciate seeing a standard machine screw instead of some over-engineered self-tightening screw wheel that gets caught on everything and filled up with sawdust. K.I.S.S products are always first in my book. I would actually prefer to see one without the swivel, to that end... Plenty of swivel recalls over the past 5-10 years.
Wow that looks really nice I would love to try it.

You said 3 settings at the end. I saw the 2 (with the cam as it comes, or flipping the cam). What’s the third option?
Without cam is seting ONE, on cam you have TWO and THREE...
Are dese on zee vebshite
Awesome
Looks more versatile than the ART rope grab and probably cheaper too
Isn’t the need for a separate tool to install it on the rope a dealbreaker??

Nah- to be honest most people leave their lanyard adjuster set for months at a time.
This is just one way, wright... It does not lock on both ways, wright??
What country is this made in? The website at Tree Stuff just says TW? What is TW?
Taiwan
@@NickBonner Thank you for the reply.
Nice
Couldn’t buy art out on this one so they added more cams and said she’ll be right 😂
