hi, i think that had to have a "rubber gasket" around the thermostat, in the old one you removed it together with the sealant/old gasket, the cod/part number from toyota is 16346-0k010
Hello, old 76c thermostat became too long to warm up after 20 years of operation. During high speed get warmed up but drop temp with speed reduction. So change new one that coincident got 82c. Since change new 82c my 1hz stays stable temp and better performance.
