I’m a teenager and have been watching X, Impulse, and Scar for years now. Their positivity and creativity definitely got me through 8th grade.

Nearly a year clean. I watched X's videos about his adolescence when I was 14 years old and it changed everything for me. Thanks

Wise advice, i think most of us face this phase in our life where we feel lost and don't know what to do with our future and that tends to drive our feeling downhill into a dark spot that is hard to get out of, this kind of inspiration sometimes is what we need to gain the courage to start experiment with our skills and things we like and are good at until we find our way out, find our place and feel well with our own self.

easy to mix "waking up" to stop looking for answers and finding a comfort zone that you dont want to leave again. ie "I woke up so I'll forever vote this way now"
Great chat as always. Also Rollins for President

I can relate to your story a bit. I always found the wrong people to be around and took advice that I never should have listened to and ignored the advice I really needed. I never felt like I belonged anywhere and never found a path to follow. I thought I understood success and happiness and just assumed I was doomed to the life I was making for myself, stuck in jobs I hated, bad relationships, and just barely getting by. Doing that for so long, you get into bad habits. I'm not going to say my life was a complete wreck, but it damn sure felt like it. I had a hard time understanding what I needed to do and right now I still don't, but I haven't given up. The longer you stay in ruts like this, the harder it is to get out. Exercise and self-compassion have helped me. I ran to help with my depression and lately, I've tried to be more compassionate with myself. If you are hard on yourself and have negative thoughts about yourself, really think about where those thoughts are coming from. Honestly, it's just an opinion anyway. If you're stuck and need direction, maybe find a mentor or hanging around other people with similar ideas or goals. Just don't stay in the rut like I did. The rut is comfortable, but it can be harmful to your mental and physical health.

I have definitely gone down dark paths, but God and Christianity has always been the best part of my life, even when I don’t know or think it is. God brought me back to the light-and we don’t have to do anything except trust Him. The Lord Jesus is my only hope for the best life, and He joyously extends it to everyone who comes to Him. He cares about you.
