I have quite a few of the HDC molds, I am totally going to make this rock. I have a lady at my church who loves ladybugs, and I think all little girls would too. Thank you so much for sharing you, are amazing!!!
Absolutely! These homemade stones are smooth in a very similar way to beach stones. I would recommend a base coat of gesso or white chalk paint under the main color to give the paint a good grip!
I don't have any trouble with the acrylic paint pens or the Sakura Pigma pen (as long as it's dry!). I've only heard of it happening when people use Sharpies and I believe you can fix it with a quick coat of Mod Podge! 😊
Thank you! Such cute lady bugs.
You're so welcome, these are so much fun and customizable!

Very Cute ! Do you think the same paint will work on natural beach rock ?

Super cute... Can I ask how you sealed it? 😊🐞
Thank you! This one is sealed with resin!
@@JessicaRocks Thankyou..so pretty 😊
@@harvestdreams resin almost always takes it to the next level!
Cute! Question, when you seal your rocks with resin, do your paint pens smear/bleed at all? Thanks for all these great tutorials!!

What kind/brand of paint are you using?
I believe these are all water based acrylic craft paints from Apple Barrel...you can get it at Walmart really cheap!
Maybe I’m using the wrong rocks then, lol. Your paint looks so much more vibrant than mine.
@@amberjacobs1895 try putting a coat of gesso or white paint as a base coat!
