I like the trap/loop idea 😉
you can add a fuel filter too the line at the top so you know nothing gets in at all.
I found out that this is a " Transfer Case " Breather Tube. Most People thinks it's the Transmission Breather Tube since they see Transmission Fluid Over-Flow, but it's meant for " Transfer Case " as a last resort, since Transmission Seal leakage and no where to go but to the Transfer Case.
I need you help, I have trasmission700r4 the fluid come out to the breath tube
Hey there I've got a real question for you! I have a 2002 GMC Sonoma SLS crew cab and I notice now when I drive it I have trans fluid coming out the vent I already did an extension just like you did only I didn't elevate it above the transmission and after wheeling today it was All over underneath 🤦 so I just rerouted it to got pretty much were you put yours I also figured worst case scenario I can just let it dump back down the dipstick any ideas please? Much appreciated!! I hope the elevated vent will stop my issue!
Did you help to elevate it?
what if it breaks how to get it out
Is it bad if it comes out of the tube
Vent cap? meh, just use a Microgard 33003. Also, don't put a loop in this hose.. holly crap.
