Aye, honestly this literally showed me a bit about how and where to start when it comes to creating beats. Literally didn't know what to do first etc. etc. This really helped me for a start. Thanks a lot!
Love your videos man! Another trick with the piano roll. Highlight the notes you want to change velocity of. Hold Alt and scroll your mouse wheel on one of them. It’ll raise or lower them one unit at a time. Also, CTRL + B on highlighted midi notes will copy and paste them to the next bar.
Your video is quite insightful. I'm not new to using a DAW or mixing but I'm new to mixing in FL and the workflow. You've gained a sub. I appreciate your work and I'm sure I'll find many more of your videos to be even more useful. Cheers Mate!
Been watching this for five minutes and its already better than 90% of the tutorials I've watched, and dude made me laugh with that always go back to the D comment. Killer work keep it comin! Def subscribin!
Even better way to get the notes even in piano roll. After you highlight the keys hold the Alt button then scroll the mouse up and down. It will raise them all to the same level simultaneously.
I saw you pulled the snare and kick down in your mixer. I usually leave the snare and kicks where they at (only change the channel volume) and I build the rest around them. Do you have any comments on that?
Great video! Would be great if you could use a mouse curser highlight tool, so it’s easier for the viewer to see what your clicking on, and zoom in when editing on what options and icons your clicking on. But as said great free video, respect for that! (I would do the editing for you if you need someone)
Most of the underground NY hip hop I hear usually has the same 2 bar loop playing for 6 bars then they'll cut the the last two bar loop in half and throw something else in there on the end. At least that's how a lot of it is.
Great job telling us what you're clicking on and why! It helps us to find our way around when were new to FL
Bro I love how you explain what you're doing while making the beat. It really helps someone like me who is new to music production.
Nas- NY state of mind
Lol, I caught that too
word i hear it!
Heard it of the first 2 piano notes
First thing I thought
First thing I did is going to the end to hear what it sounds and I thought this was exactly this but some notes are changing
