    I searched for months for just the right macrame wall hanging pattern to make for my daughter, and this was IT! The pattern worked up pretty quickly and your instructions were excellent. I wish I could upload a picture of the finished product -- I used a smaller cord so I did this exact pattern in the middle and then two smaller "diamond" lengths on the side. It was a lot of fun! Thank you for posting these instructions!

    I just bought some macrame cord for the first time and am nervous about starting cuz it looks difficult but this tutorial actually seems doable and it’s so cute! I’m gonna try it. I saw another comment saying they’re gonna try adding a shelf, and I love that idea! I might attempt my first diy project with this. Thank you for sharing and having such in-depth instructions!

      I’m not sure where you like but this is from Ganxxet in the USA. I also sell braided cord similar on Etsy in Canada. Just search Soulful Notions in the search bar there:)

    Hi..
    1)Can I use 3mm cord with same measurements? Wil that be fine?
    2) if a cord length is 155 cm then that wil be total length of cord right ( 155 cm we need to fold it with equal length)? Is it?
    Yours response will be appreciated
    Thank you ❤

    • @soulfulnotions2648
      @soulfulnotions2648  4 роки тому +1

      Yes 3mm is fine, lengths can stay the same, it will be skinnier though so you may want to add on cords. And if a cord length says 155cm, that is the actual cord length!

    Hi what’s the diameter of the rod you used for this wall hanging? I’ve got my cord, all I need to get is my dowel and I wasn’t sure how thick it should be. Looking forward to starting my 1st macrame project 😀

    • @soulfulnotions2648
      @soulfulnotions2648  4 роки тому

      This one was either 3/4 inch or 1inch. The diameter doesn’t really matter though, but the length does!

      No worries, I’m happy to be of help! But one more thing, I get my dowel from the lumbar store. I buy a long one, cut it, sand it and stain it myself. It is MUCH cheaper and they have wayyy more selection to choose from!

    How do you keep the ends from curving out a lot from the knots? Mine isn’t straight on the edges. The ends are sticking out

    • @soulfulnotions2648

    Before starting we have to fold the threads in half, so the measurements 60in... Are before folding or after folding?

    • @soulfulnotions2648
      @soulfulnotions2648  3 роки тому

      What ever the length is stated is the actual length of the cord. Then you fold it in half.
