Man, I REALLY want this to be a Death Battle episode now. Omega is an underrated Sonic character, and Metal Gear could use more representation overall since only Snake and Raiden have been featured so far. As for my guess on who'd win though, I'd give it to Omega. Sonic scaling is pretty bonkers as it is, but Omega was apparently able to defeat and capture Shadow in Silver's future timeline. Being able to keep up with someone that fast should mean Omega could likewise keep up with Blade Wolf's Blade Mode speed, and he's been shown to possess enough physical strength to somewhat rival that of Knuckles, Big and Vector, which should at least put him around the same level of strength Blade Wolf has. Blade Wolf is much more clever, however, and is much more deliberate with his attacks and aim compared to Omega's "shoot everywhere and something will hit eventually" approach. His best chance of victory would be to use his stealth prowess to hopefully find an opening to one-shot Omega with his high-frequency chainsaw, since Omega's durability seems kind of low. But Omega has some kind of sensor that lets him sense enemies and objects in an area of up to 200 meters around him, so he might be able to detect Blade Wolf's location even when in hiding. The odds of Blade Wolf out-maneuvering Omega are slim as well, since Omega is agile enough to grind on rails, jump several times his own height, somersault multiple times in midair as a ball like Sonic and Shadow, and use his jet boosters for limited flight. Blade Wolf was also not that used to combat scenarios compared to the likes of Raiden and Sam, to the point that he opted for a mostly non-combat role after being rebuilt and joining Maverick. Omega on the other hand RELISHES combat and any chance he can get to annihilate inferior Eggman robots and other opponents, and has partaken in battles against numerous powerful adversaries like Neo Metal Sonic's Metal Madness form, who had copied the data and abilities of everyone in Sonic Heroes, and Mephiles the Dark, the incarnated mind and will of the god Solaris. Blade Wolf was only ever able to defeat Khamsin, and after that lost to Raiden, Sam, and Armstrong pretty decisively, after which he seemingly retired from combat entirely after moving in with Sunny.

Thanks for the vocal song here, Brandon! And you too, Jack! You did a magnicent singing out there. But there will be more vocal songs for singers to appear in 2025, like Victor Borba, Cristina Vee, Amanda Lee and more!
A combination of a duet and a bit of a rap battle, impressive. I'm very happy to see these two get a vocal track, especially Omega I feel like the lyrics work for both his Archie version and his game/IDW version.
Let them be friends! My boys deserve robo friendship! Banger track too man this goes hard, the lyrics are very deep with these two and the vocals and instrumental sound beautiful, keep up the great work!
Composition The track "Blossomed" is a Progressive rock with video game chiptune elements. The main theme is a mix of the Cave Theme from Super Mario Bros. 2, Peach's first playable game, and Little Big Planet from Sonic CD, Amy's very first appearance. There are a few cues from certain soundtracks and songs: The Castle Theme from Mario 64, Grand Metropolis from Sonic Heroes, and the main theme from Mario & Sonic and the Olympic Games for the finale. Title The title is a pun relating to real peach blossoms and blossoming roses, but more importantly, it describes how they've grown from damsels in distress to capable, playable characters. And character development with Peach becoming more independent, saving others like the Mario Bros. and Amy wanting to help others with her love, even though this means spending time away from Sonic Cover Art The cover art is a silhouette of Amy's head wearing Peach's crown (similar to their emblems/logo from the Olympic Games series), that's underneath an open parasol while it's raining petals, with Amy's dress having wings from Emperess Peach's strike, holding the Piko Piko Hammer. And below is Peach's Castle in the setting of Green Hill.
Releasing a vocal version of a Sonic commission right after Bowser VS Eggman certainly is a strategical move, and I'm all for it if it means more views for the video. I Am This Machine is one of those songs that wasn't bad but definitely needed a bit more so seeing it receive lyrics is quite nice even if it was somewhat expected if only because it's a MGR *and* Sonic track. Didn't really know what could have been directly added to it given it still had quite a singular instrumental tho so it was surprising to hear what was done in the end. And I'll say, the first time I listened to this I was pretty mixed on it. Some of the lines just didn't sound right to me, a couple of the lyrics felt pretty underwhelming or cheesy to a fault and the general borderline-rap tone of a part of the song wasn't to my personal tastes. However after listening to it more and more I'm starting to like it more and more even if I still have one now-minor gripe with it. So let's get it out of the way before I get to the good part. That small issue would be, as said, the fact that some lines sound a bit weird in their deliveries, main example being the post-chorus which just sounds kinda weird, feels weirdly devoid of emotion and not in a good way for the matchup. Almost as if they were sung without interest which I don't know if it's done on purpose or not but either way it sounds off. It's not anything major but still notable and while there's other lines that sound a bit weird either due to delivery or due to mismatch with the instrumental but there's very few cases of those making them pretty much irrelevant. Aside from that issue, rest of the track is solid in my books even if its rap-like tone isn't to my tastes as said before. But looking past that it's a nice song with a simple but appreciable dynamic that has some simple but appreciable lyrics, some of them actually being quite smart (for my standards of lyric-writing) (IE: "Countdown's on, E-123" just because it's a neat play on words and pronunciation) and others being downright too cheesy for their own good making them sound honestly kinda bad (IE: "LQ-84i, your IQ must be lower than pi" even if I understand the reason for that being that you can't really make a good play on words with freaking LQ-84i as a name). Either way all that results in a package that, combined with a catchy set of chorus and bridges, ends up being nothing revolutionary but nonetheless standout. And of course this is further helped by Brandon's vocal performance as always which goes without saying that, aside from the couple lines that sound off and the post-chorus as said before, does really well in this. Special mention for the difference in tone made to differentiate both characters given it's an issue with a lot of commissions using one vocalist to voice for two characters that they end up being hard to differentiate without the written lyrics, this one manages to have both be pretty much perfectly differentiable without any issue aside from maybe the last 4 verse lines. Not only does it help display Brandon's vocal range even if it's far from his limits but it also just sounds really neat and helps set the song apart from others, something that's always appreciable. Overall this track is one I changed my opinion on a lot while writing this. For the first few listens I basically had to force myself to listen to it more but now while writing this I'm genuinely enjoying it quite a lot, showing that sometimes it's more so a matter of getting "used" to the song than it is a matter of it being flawed. Sure it does have a couple flaws but as a whole those are outshined by the good of the song which amounts to a very catchy, seemingly fitting of the characters and generally appreciable full package which is more than a song needs to be decent. Amazing job as always with this.

Blade Wolf: I am Sorry, But you MUST DIE!!!
Omega: If you severe the Eggman Empire, Than I MUST Eradicate you!!!
Blade Wolf: I'm sorry, but you Must DIE!

“A New Designation” - N vs Blade Wolf (Murder Drones vs Metal Gear)
I prefer N vs Penny from RWBY
@@josephsharp6221 Uzi or Cyn is a lot more fair, N just gets fodderized by Penny.
@@ExcalibeonSwordofEeveelutions Cyn vs Penny would be a good Good vs Evil matchup.
Actually, I want to see Omega VS N
That actually sounds pretty good.
Branded with another back to back. Double the sonic, double the fun.
now i want to see a Death Battle episode of these two duking it out
This is one of those songs I didn't care for first listen but became an instant classic on loop 2

This was catchy and vocals for this battle music makes me feel more then a machine
I’ve even reacted to this battle music

it was already so good but now with vocals even better!
Omega has more weapons but Blade Wolf’s High Frequency Chainsaw is more deadly
Oh hey what a coincidence! I was listening to the original while making a TTRPG PC based on both characters a few days ago!
How did that project come out?
Oh part duet, part rap battle nice
This SLAPS.
This isn’t the Omega matchup I was considering, but this song is good
What did you consider?
@ I was honestly thinking Robo from Chrono Trigger
@@plusultra12001 That might be a much more closer matchup.
*The robot uprising begins HERE.*
Composition
The track "Blossomed" is a Progressive rock with video game chiptune elements.
Title
The title is a pun relating to real peach blossoms and blossoming roses, but more importantly, it describes how they've grown from damsels in distress to capable, playable characters. And character development with Peach becoming more independent, saving others like the Mario Bros. and Amy wanting to help others with her love, even though this means spending time away from Sonic
Cover Art
The cover art is a silhouette of Amy's head wearing Peach's crown (similar to their emblems/logo from the Olympic Games series), that's underneath an open parasol while it's raining petals, with Amy's dress having wings from Emperess Peach's strike, holding the Piko Piko Hammer. And below is Peach's Castle in the setting of Green Hill.
This is awesome!
Omega FTW
This is so lit
This is beautiful
Any chance this will go on iTunes?
I’d love to hear them howl
This sounds like something that could be in shadow frontiers if that happened. The title reminds me of i am machine from three days grace.
I would actually love to see this fight, even if does tragically end in poor blade wolf getting turned to scrap metal.
As Much as i love N vs Blade Wolf, this is a solid alt for both.

@@darkreflection9087 Penny can equally one-shot Uzi, it's a "who can land a good hit first?" kinda deal with a both of them being very close in speed.
Uzi and Penny are both quirky, socially starved, robotic teen girls who finally find equally quirky friends and also get possessed by supernatural powers along the way.

I'm becoming more than the sum of my parts
Could I have purpose beyond my programming?

Cold, closed minded, have to destroy them all
Bold, horrible, a robotic cannibal

Blades will slash then retract, strike close and don't step back
