Yeah, my game yesterday end the way you describing. I won three battles and in the last move may opponent lacking behind us won 6 point in one turn: two point battle, two alliance track, spice must flow card and intrigue X)
I'm glad I got a number of plays under my belt before watching this most of this information was things I was already doing while playing it's just helped cement a lot of the ideas I had as well as providing a bit of context but it was nice to sort of figure out the game (at least the broad strokes) on my own
We actually have 5 Continents and 11 countries represented, and that's just out of the competitors who are currently signed up, with more signing up every day. Perhaps you should sign up and add to that tally :) Our top 4 from last year were from Canada, the US, and Finland. Our top 4 from 2022 hail from Canada, The USA, China, and Italy.

Really enjoyed this video, I just started playing the game and this really helps me.
