What makes these some of the best FNaF jump scares are the fact that they are instant, they then show you who you died to after, I’d still shit my fucking pants.
While this absurdly grotesque detail is a neat representation of the Animatronics, it really makes them feel like a generic demon/monster of the week. I like that Scott found an unnerving blend of a friendly approachable cartoon friend, as well as this uncanny and a well disguised malice that is found by putting these machines in the right atmosphere.
if you pause when the puppet is jump scaring you can see that he has a nose and a mouth and his eyes are facing opposite directions it makes him look so goofy

I like that Scott found an unnerving blend of a friendly approachable cartoon friend, as well as this uncanny and a well disguised malice that is found by putting these machines in the right atmosphere.
I love the Mangle model in JR’s and how she/they/it/he has an owl for the tail
if you pause when the puppet is jump scaring you can see that he has a nose and a mouth and his eyes are facing opposite directions it makes him look so goofy
That ain’t no puppet that is a demon 💀💀💀
