Solar panel story city ordinances aren't enforced by destroying the property in place, not to mention its not done by private citizens. Even if the panels have been illegal Bill would've been guilty of trespassing and destruction of property
Yeah, because this story is AI bullshit. Are the panels in front yard where the neighbour can destroy them with a bat, or they are on the front roof where it's little more hard to reach not to mention, to be able to destroy them. And who will admit in court their wrongdoings, when dosent have any proof that they do it?
Given the dollar value of those solar panels the vandal is lucky he didn't face felony charges. That's a criminal matter more than a civil one.
When I was a child, maybe 12-13, my friends .om worked at Kelloggs she told us that someone was stealing other people's lunch in the fridge. There, one worker made chocolate eclares for the frosting she melted a box of chocolate exlax laxative, so they quickly found the culprit
The janitor. Could not leave the restroom lol
Where i'm from, lunch theft is still theft and grounds for immidiate termination.
"Trackable metric" systems are RARELY useful, only if its ONLY the same work all the way, but when it's different levels and lengths then it's not just useless, it's damaging.
Last: SVP isn't that great if he doesn't realize that new VP is useless, toxic and is hurting the company badly
I seen this happened several times at companies where they bring in somebody that's so great and around ruins everything
S2: After I won my court case, those pannels would have gone onto the front roof. I wouldn't let that POS neighbour have even a hint of victory. If you think your neighbour has built something illegal, call the city. If it is illegal, it will be removed. But do not attempt to remove or destroy your neighbour's property That's illegal.
So much wrong in the solar panel myth. First who here believes that someone could get on your roof while you are sleeping and smash solar panels without waking you up? Second, you don’t just decide which side of your house to install solar panels. The angle of the sun dictates where they are placed. It is possible that the house faced east or west and in that case front or back would be a near equal compromise.
Depends how hard you sleep. People could be tossing you around and don't realize until you wake up.
yeah, so like the guy got up on the roof in the night and smashed the solar panels to smithereens so that they fell on the lawn? I find it hard to believe OP didn't wake up. This would have made a lot of noise. Even the ladder and tromping around on the roof would have been noisy, not to mention smashing up those solar panels. Wouldn't the neighbour expect the guy to wake up, since he was doing the damage when he was home? I totally agree about which side of your house to put the solar panels on! so much fakeness in this story....
I will put the solar panel back on the front
With Mr. Bill, where's Mr.Hands and Mr.Sluggo ? The world wants to know ?
This neighbour deserves solar panels because city ordinances. This neighbour didn’t like look of solar panels.
S1 Why not hire/ buy a small fridge and keep it in OP's room? Take it with him when he moves?
I remember buying a S Korean 55 liter fridge, around 1995, when living alone in a S Asian city, for some time, for $ 50. Very useful. Milk, veg, beer, left over food.
I just giggled and saw that US prices for 50 liter fridges is around $ 50.
Some local & county governments have placed limitations upon solar farms but not upon individual homes.
#1: Even if the solar panels were illegal, it is NOT Bill's right to destroy them. # Idiot boss, it seems from some of the stories that new bosses must be hired either for their looks or DEI because there seems to be a lot of them that come in new to a company and begin changing things and making enemies.
Hopefully last one VP also got canned, and also it went through the grapevine that the actions they did at the company cost millions in lost income, and destroyed the entire operation they were in charge of, and that they had shown they were a toxic manager who you would only hope went to your opposition. Give a week in the tech industry and all would know about this, and any company HR looking to hire would find that nobody in the company would back them, saying they feel it would be a very bad fit, and if they went ahead expect massive losses in wherever they got placed within a year.
First off it's a criminal act and he should have gotten arrested first, then Sue Civilly. Second the panels should go back to the orginal placement because the techs who installed them determined the best angle of the sun for the best output. Who writes these stories???
What is this "slack" stuff the one guy is talking about?
"My shady neighbor," seems like exactly the right epithet for the guy who destroys solar panels.
