this man: *does the most interesting and useful things in the game i have ever seen* also him: i hope im not boring anyone with my killing and getting op and all the health and exploits you could ever want, ya know
Bro picks something up that to me, a complete newbie to this game, looks useful and overpowered af, and goes 'meh, this one is slightly good'. But with as many hours as him, I do get why he is so desensitized as to what looks and doesn't look good to someone who hasn't played as much as him.
I finished the game but felt like I still had no idea what was going on, I nuked a spider twice, did something, got teleported to a place where there was something called work, I planted some explosives and nuked the place then pressed E to pick it up because I thought there would be another boss, I instantly died then there was credits. IDK what happened.
Might be 2 years later but this vid is fantastic, I was captivated the whole way through. This is the very thing that taught me how to play Noita and truly got me into the game. For that, I can't thank you enough. A brutal game, and you still succeeded after throwing away a good free wand, getting into situations where most people would throw in the towel, and hindering yourself in other ways just for the sake of explaining to newcomers, and then at the very end denying the win on your record just to keep all your runs tallied on livestream. What an utter legend.
This sort of video is a really great way to learn for a lot of people, and a big part of why I like UA-cam. Anything from car mechanics, to electricians, and software engineering, just being able to sort of sit back and watch over your shoulder while you do something you're great at is a cool way to learn. I'd been playing Noita casually since early access, and never got farther than the jungle. A few months ago I decided to finally look into lore and tips/tricks of the game, and ended up doing a 30 hour long, 11 orb run. There's just so much to this game, that it's nearly impossible to learn it all by yourself. While 30 hours is crazy long for an 11 orb run, I just had so much fun exploring and playing around with stuff I'd never been able to do before. ☺
Found you a couple weeks ago, and you have single handedly got me back into Noita! Your tutorials are the best I've seen and helped me enjoy the game much more. You often said things like "this is probably boring you guys", but I couldnt disagree more. You are both entertaining and informative. For feedback, I loved this video and would be happy to see more like it. I would say the pacing was great. I personally would not mind if you went into longer "rants" as I enjoy them, but you answered all my questions and more I had for the run (specifically the "how the hell does he check the wand stats so fast" haha). Thanks for the videos!
I've been playing for a month or two now and have learned ALOT through simply dying repeatedly. Runs like these were you point out the small details are incredible and I cannot thank you enough. I learned so much and would watch every one of these you post in the future. Thank you.
This is the kind of content I want - just going through a run and explaining the choice of spells, wands, and builds as you come across them. I've made trash wands until now, but this run showed me a lot of my build issues. So thanks
So glad this shows up in my recommendations. Even though im 2 years late. This was an amazing and helpful/informative video. Also just super entertaining and chill. Definitely earned my sub
"and that's just because I play a ton, don't think there is anything to memorise there" About the wands you recognise, there are actually visual rules you can memorise that tell you a variety of information about the wand from just it's sprite alone. The longer a wand is the more capacity it will have. Wands with multiple tips usually cast more than one spell at a time. And the number of tips is usually consistent, so twin tipped wands cast 2 and 3 tips casts 3 or more. A wand that has a crystal embedded in it (aside from the starting bomb wand) is ALWAYS a non shuffler. and wands without that crystal are always shufflers unless you have the relevant perk. It's one very minor reason why I am not super fond of that perk because it doesn't force wands to generate with that crystal even though its such a tiny detail. I imagine the in lore reason is that the crystal stabilises the power of the wand. A wand with a glowing blue aura around it has an always cast spell. I think there is maybe something to do with the width of a wand but I don't know if there is any hint on reload times. But usually wands with long reload times also have a lot of capacity and are thus longer to compensate. Sometimes if an enemy is carrying a wand you can tell what kinds of spells it has from the particle effects coming out of the wand. This is really noticeable if you find a wand in the first area with a bunch of toxic sludge shots. Those particle effects stack and the wand basically spews out flammable gas. I've learnt some cool stuff from this video already about the frogs and the actual size of formations. So I wanted to share something back.
I just had a brain blast. I think one of the most illuminating things about this video was the formations with hearts and things. I think recognizing those formations over time will help me up my game a lot. Excellent video, and my only feedback would be to stop apologizing for being "boring". You have to understand that to us mere mortals, this stuff isn't even close to boring. All of it is super helpful, and even just getting your thoughts on certain spells is tremendously useful.
Thank you SO much for your huge breadth of experience and super clear style! You really speak in a cool way that I can understand really well, even though I've got
UA-cam randomly suggested this video and I stuck around until the end The thing for complex enough games like Noita is that you can hear infinite amount of advices but never be able to utilize them in any meaningful way until you see somebody knowlegdeble demonstrating mindset you need to be in any given situation. So this video was very interesting and informative even if I usually don't watch 2 hour long videos.
Learned so much thanks to this video. You have no idea how entertaining it is to see someone who knows so much about Noita play it and narrate their thought process on it. I ended up watching your 11 Orb and Transformation runs as well so I decided to come back here and leave a comment.
I know this video is a year old but I've seen other comments from as little as a month ago so I wanted to leave my own. As someone who is very new to Noita, talking sub 10 hours so far, this type of content is exactly what I am looking for when it comes to learning more about the game and it's mechanics. Just hearing your thought processes and explanations for different mechanics here and there is super useful because I can take what I've learned and implement it into my own runs. Plus doing it while you play the game allows people to see that thinking on a moment to moment basis compared to in a controlled environment, (not that those aren't useful). I've only put in about 30 to 40 runs so far, most are over pretty quick since I'm still new and getting to grips with the game and it's systems but the amount of depth it has is captivating just knowing what's possible. I've got a lot to learn but videos like these help tremendously and for that you have my genuine gratitude. Hopefully one day I'll have my own crown and amulet and I'll look back on how far I've come from where I am now which is mostly getting blown up in the snowy depths and trying to climb up the sides of the map just to see what's up there. Onwards and upwards. o7
Mhy, Im starting out aswell and i came here for exact same reason, I live by ther rule that theres always some nerd that knows better, and when ive got graps of wand building in this game i just knew that youtube is first thing that i have to go to learn lol.
This whole run was fire. This is my favorite video of yours yet, Dunk. If you ever get a run where you cant get chainsaw or teleport before hiisi base and get the W, I would love to see it. I feel like I have the worst luck with these and so I always end up sort of stuck with a slight variation on my starting wand up in the hiisi base (or the projectile swapped to my bomb wand). Either way, fantastic stuff, and I hope there are many more in the future.
Dude i never watch YT videos for more than 15 mins, but you keep me hooked by the fact that you were explaining every little thing you were doing, and i felt like i was going to miss a lot if I didn't watch the whole video. I thinks that´s the key to keep the people watching, the whole process explanation and the train of thought... 10/10 !
The best tips I've gotten as a new player (started a week ago) are that 1) Wandcrafting is (debatably) the most important thing to learn 2) (meta) Knowledge is power I was hesitant to use outside resources and "spoil" the experience of discovering things myself but I quickly realized that I wouldn't have the time to go through this enormous world with a fine tooth comb. Life sometimes sucks like that but hitting those power combos and getting more consistent runs saved me more than enough frustration to make up for the fact I didn't discover some secrets organically.
I really enjoy your videos man, and seeing full runs with a theme of giving as much knowledge as possible helps a whole lot. I have an idea for a possible series of educational full runs tho: how about you start the run with the intention of doing a specific thing, like "this run, I want to get to a parallel world" or "this run we will fight the skull boss" or " I will try to find the horror monsters lair. Why? Well though it might not always be successful and you might not get the necessary things to do the objective it could serve as a guide on how one prepares for such an occasion. I've beaten the game a few times, and now mostly I want to go to parallel worlds, defeat the bosses etc. but sometimes its hard to grasp the how of the things. But I also enjoy this type of runs as well, so no worry! Its fun to see an experienced player play and to see how we do things differently. And you can always learn some new neat trick.
I really enjoyed this type of video! as a newer noita player it legit blew my mind how you were able to craft such an insane wand by like the snap of your fingers, so learning about wand building and i guess knowing what would really make a wand click like that would want to be my biggest takeaway from these types of videos but all your decision making was very helpful
This format is absolutely perfect as far as I'm concerned. I love your full runs but I find the noise and visuals from the twitch integrations exhausting. For me at least, this combines the best of both worlds.
Absolutely love the UA-cam content lately! Helped me so much with my runs and wand building. Maybe besides a Sun Quest run, maybe runs going through the achievement pillars on top of the tree?
Definitely gave me some helpful pointers for starting to play this game. Now that I armed with this knowledge I can get into the mines and die two steps away from the portal instead of three. Also, subscribed. Good video. Thanks for the info.
This is EXACTLY the type of content that i'm looking for. A full run where an expert noita player deals with the general things the game gives them. I find that much more educational and entertaining than hand picked 'lucky' runs. Because this is the kind of run that I could have gotten, if I had made the same decisions to deal with the RNG the game gave me, and so many tricks that I didn't know about I learned from watching. As requested leaving a comment giving you feedback that yes, I do want more of this and hopefully I'm not alone in this! Because as you mentioned you kind of solved the goal of the run in the early jungle meaning you were able to blitz through the rest of the game, which is fine because of the goal you set for yourself in this run was already achieved. But in the future hopefully we can see some more runs like this where you can go over some more strategies on those levels. And even the side 'levels', the ones that aren't on the 'main' path. Personally I'd also be very interested in how an expert noita player takes an average run and turns it into a parrelel world run, or some of the harder to achieve goals. When I play I have a hard time transitioning from something like this run into a way harder goal like more orbs or hard achievements. Thanks for the content! I'll definitely drop by on twitch too!
Yes exactly I struggle getting a run on it's feet and I want to know how I should go around making a decent wand and know when I should do certain things I would love to see more o this for sure.
i started playing noita three days ago and haven't gotten past the third stage yet so thanks for the longform demonstration on how to actually play effectively. im not on twitch and prefer being able to rewind and pause so i appreciate this video a lot. also, its nice being able to learn from such a chill guy. its like having a friend play and explain it. very nice man ill definitely be checking out more of your vids💚 edit: also, i makes me happy to see this video still helping new players who also got Noita on sale recently over a year later. thank you on behalf of all of us noobs
yo thank you so much. your rambling is very much appreciated!! tbh those full runs compliment the tutorials REALLY well. the tutorials are nice if i have sth specific to look for, but just watching you play makes me think about how i play and reflect upon what i prioritize etc. its really really useful. thank you so much for explaining all your steps, knowing the WHY to your actions and prioritizations is so helpful!! thank you!
35:00. Actually there is a bit of knowledge to be learned there. the wand's looks are based on some of its stats. Wider wands have higher cast delay, longer wands have higher capacity, and wands with gemstones in them are non-shuffle. Recharge rate, spread, mana max, and mana charge speed have no visual indicator however.
My favorite part is the part where I'm told "you should have 3 or 4 hearts by this point" but I can reliably worm-blood or All-Seeing Eye all the way from the Mines to the Hiisi Base, fully clear all four biomes and see a grand total of one chest (helpfully locked inside a metal square) and zero hearts.
That worm blood can come in handy getting a 25+ HP heart to the west of the Collapsed Mine section in the Dark Cave. There's at least one guaranteed heart to help mitigate the bad luck. 🤪
I mostly listened, sort of watched while working on a crochet project, but I still felt like I could follow along perfectly with your commentary. Great vid, I learned a lot!
I know you did this forever ago, but I have only 10 hours in noita, and this has been an amazing video! Thank you SO much for being so informative. Hope you're still doing well.
This was really helpful, thanks, so many details about the game that I didn't know. The fact you can talk and narrate your thought process the whole time makes it entertaining, regardless of how fast or slow you go. You're a very natural speaker, so it's easy to listen to. As a newbie I know there's a lot going on that I don't pick up on, so when you decide to occasionally slow down to highlight certain things it helps a lot, like how to tell the shuffle wands apart. As long as you're explaining something the whole time I don't mind that you're not explaining everything. So I don't really have anything I'd change about this, it was great!
Thanks for this. was very valuable to see the thought process of going through each biome. I think for long-form content being more descriptive and in-depth in how you're approaching a level is fine.
For feedback on the wands, just a quick say on why it's a pass: "Crummy cast delay" or "average stats, not a fan of charm-on spells". You know what you see at a glance, but sometimes it takes a tiny nudge for us to parse it.
As a Noita novice myself seeing these kind of playthroughs is really helpful. You're Welcome to Noita video felt like the first course but I feel like there is still more to offer in terms of the many decisions you have to make. Definitely learning from this kind of video.
I've been playing for week or two and basically never getting passed the snowy depths. Clearly, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing! Seeing this video made me realize just how intensely deep this game is. Wow. Thank you!
I like this kind of video. Please keep uploading more of these. I don't watch all of your tutorials but I watch these long run videos without exception, they keep me entertained in picture in picture while I get other work done.
I was so damn close to my first win last night. Had a great wand, 200 hp, and a dream. I picked up teleportitis and got hit by a single pixel of toxic fume. I got teleported into lava and instantly died. My wand was reaching 2000 consistent dps and it had the spells to double as a digging wand. I'm still mad about that loss lol
I generally start over if I get teleportitis. I never pick it up on purpose, but sometimes the gamble perk will give it to me. I'll generally try to play thru it, but it almost always pisses me off
I sucked ass at Noita before full release and didn't touch it before now. This guide was extremely helpful, and holy hell I wouldn't have figured out 10% of stuff out on my own, such a deep game. I didn't watch the last 15 minutes, as I didn't want to spoil a biome I haven't been in myself, but the video was very helpful. Especially the wand configurations, I never quite grasped that, and they mean SO much for a run, but very nice tips besides that as well!
Definitely would like this same video, but even greater detail. Everytime you were like "I don't want to bore you" I was like "Noo! Please give me your knowledge!"
When you picked up the Ghost wand I was about to say: Aight, this is where I stop learning something. But good to see that you stuck to your goal to teach newcomers. I'm currently like 15 hours into Noita and only managed to reach the Vault once. Looking forward to winning my first run at some point :)
Your videos are great man, hope your channel receives more and more attention as the game keeps on growing cause you deserve it. Great tutorials, entrentaining runs and amazing tips. Keep it up!!!
In all seriousness - the amount of stuff i learned from this, and just the overall quality of the Information and the presentation is mindboggling. I'm convinced that I've automatically become a much better noita-Player just by watching this. Thanks so much, absolutely appreciated.
Man, and here I was thinking this game was a simple, 30 mins fun when I have free time, and I found it out that it's 4 hours fun kinda day, so I stand corrected and this is hella complex but I loved the video, fun and really informational, helped me get around some stuff I was not totally getting! Thanks a ton! awesome vod!
"Acid is not something to be fucked around with" is so true. I once ended a really good run by accidentally right clicking with a bottle of acid and melting myself. Never picked up a bottle of acid again.
Dude every video you made so far - I watched it because it’s entertaining, informative, very well explained and I love that you don’t edit while talking all the way through :) You inspired me to look into streaming Noita for fun myself, I’m trying to optimize my setup atm ^^ Please keep streaming and posting videos! (YT is great cause I can listen to you while at work or in public transport ;D
I love these vids! Thanks for filming even if it's kinda weird for u not having chat, but I find the 1 on 1 feel is a nice vibe, not that the ones from twitch are any less entertaining. You seem like a really chill guy and have great information. I look forward to watching more
I just came across this game and fell in love completely. It's so mysterious, and feels unshackled from common game design limitations usually placed on the player. They let new players fumble, crumble under the difficulty, and discover the freedom of the rng and physics. Thanks for putting out this content. Great to see things I've learn be used by the best, and marvel at the tools being used in such a way to become a god 😂
I just started the game, I think I have 5 hours in it, and somebody on Reddit pointed me to your channel. This was super informative, and I really enjoyed the delivery style, it was a really fun video. I'll go check out some of your tutorial videos too. Noita is great. I'm having a blast exploring and experimenting with all the materials and spell combinations, and killing myself in new and interesting ways.
This should be an annual series where you just do a run and give advice on the things you encounter. As for critiques, maybe just assume we know less. Like you mentioned how your wand mechanics work with a swapper. I probably did know how swappers work at some point but as a casual player it'd be nice if every time you explain something you make sure you don't assume too much beyond basic game knowledge. But I understand it's a hard balance to find between over and under explaining so i'm just happy this video exists and hope there's more like it from you.
Jus watching this video made me subconsciously learn a lot. I've literally noticed myself improve since watching through this run and picking up on things you do
Chose this Noita video sort of at random to relay a moderately interesting discovery I made. While playing an old game I DL'd from Jayisgames several years ago, I noticed an item pick-up called "Woolen hat of Hisii" or something similar to that. Having played several hours of Noita, I noticed the connection, however I am also not so dim to understand that Hisii is probably a word common to the Finnish language, and thus doesn't necessarilly prove a connection to Noita. To confirm this, I looked up "hisii", and yeah, it's a Finnish trickster/goblin type of being. So, maybe the game I was playing, "Maze of Space", was made by a Finnish person. I looked that up, and yes. It was made by a Finnish person, Petri Purho. Looked up what other games this Petri guy made, and gosh-and-golly. Kinda strange how the initial observation--"Woolen hat of hisii" led to this. Though, the art style of "Maze of Space" definitely is reminescent of Noita. It is kinda cool how I've been holding onto this old WIP game for a decade and a half, transferring it from one PC to another, and occasionally playing it when I got especially bored. That turned out to have been created by the person who designed another game that I spent a significantly larger amount of time playing. Serendipity. I hope you have a good day, Dunk. Same to any other person who runs across this silly comment.
As someone who knew absolutely nothing about Noita, i found this very entertaining. Also, loved spme of the stats at the end. Highest HP of 33 trillion, highest gold _Infinity_ 😆
I enjoy seeing you exist with the game by yourself like this. I dislike livestreams and chats, I much prefer getting exactly what I clicked for and nothing else. Great job I appreciate this and you.
This was super helpful. I’ve gotten wins before but I still learned some things. I’d love to see a run like this where you are going for a long run and seeing what kind of setup is needed for it. It doesn’t even necessarily need to be the full long run, maybe just getting to the point where you start going to parallel worlds or some point at which you feel “ok, from here you’re a god, go do whatever you want.” Another thing I’d like to see is some run or guide on returning to the surface at stage 3. I’ve seen people say you could do it, but in practice I don’t know how I’d be ready to say, go kill the alchemist or something by that point.
I would love to see a run of like full capacity, showing all the cool tricks and stuff you can do, I'm very new to actually playing Noita, I've watched a-lot but I suck at actually playing it. It's so awe inspiring to see you build wands like that and make it seem so effortless.
I’m at 1:00:32 and yeah man this is great. As a noob to this game, it’s really helpful to see it all from the start, you show how to be super efficient. I didn’t even know you could use firebolt to get that orb on top of the mountain. I appreciate all the tips/info in this run!
Hey i think it would be valuable if you ran through a quick explanation of your thought process when you look at a want, good or bad. It’s useful to know what attributes excite you, and which ones are meh.
what i dislike most about noita is how much i need to think and how much time it costs me to craft a good wand when the whole thing could be lost in an instant
You keep the knowledge though. That's what I like the most with this game, with each run you get your hands on new knowledge, even after playing hundreds of hours, because it's so vast and everything is so complex, secret, and feels just forbidden. The best part is how the general athmosphere and lore plays with concept of forbidden magic. Using semi-bugs to get beyond what the game seems to naturally allow becomes very immersive in this context.
Very useful! Please put up more. No worries about the long format content for me, I enjoy seeing how you tackle different situations and minor tips/tricks. Helps a lot!
i would love some long nightmare runs. thats a real skill showcase. or showcase of how to get noita'd.(getting Noita'd makes for the best short vids/clips) Edit: for people who like to watch long runs taking your time and just enjoying a good run is generally what we like to see. also i dont mind chat from your vods, seeing you engaged and having fun with them means your not forcing yourself to talk. love the vids man keep up the good content.
2 years late, but loved the video!! I like that when you take time to do things. If it gets a bit boring, we can easily skip ahead with arrow keys and navigate the video. Cheers!
I found it funny that you said twitch VODs can be hard to watch when you are genuinely the most watchable streamer imo. Your interaction with chat is fun to watch while you manage to stay on topic more than most streamers. That said, I'd love to see more prerecorded runs sometime in the future! It's nice to hear your thought process while you play, it helps make late game less intimidating. Thanks for all the amazing content, Dunk!
My favorite parts of your videos are the wand building ones, because I learned so much from you. I love noita so much, and wand building intrigues me so much. The dopamine of making a God wand is insane.
I'd love to see, if not the dark sun quest, a video on how you go about doing non-main path things. I've beaten the main path but taking on any of the side areas or content is a brick wall in terms of difficulty for me, and I think seeing how you do it would help. Like, do you go all the way through the main stack of biomes first? Do you go to snowy depths, get what you can, and then loop back up through the chasm? Is there a preferred order?
What a great video! I have watched more of you playing Noita than I have played haha. Giving information on how to build spells for damage and pointing out different formations for hearts, chests, and items all were such valuable tips, please keep up the great content!
I love these longer run videos! As a more experienced player the tips and info isn't as useful to me, but I love the minimal editing long runs. Id definitely like to see something Simsbury maybe attempt some more bosses!
I am just so hopelessly addicted to this game. I can rarely ever get past the second world (if I even get past the first), but I cannot wait to run it back every time I die. Really awesome game and this run in the video is so insanely useful... really shows how much power I could be missing just by not exploring enough in the first area.
Don't worry. You'll figure out new strategies and methods of surviving longer and making the most of what you have. Experience truly makes the dreamwork. And don't forget to ask for help when in a pinch ;)
Your videos are so helpful! I secured my first win using your chainsaw tips. I've started to hunt the bosses now and killed the alchemist using your tips from the sun quest guide. So much useful information for a game that doesn't give you ANY information (unless it's transcribed in a language of a cipher you have to learn on top of all the mechanics...) thanks for making us love this game in a whole new way
You got that laid back, rolling way of talking that is very enjoyable. The vid was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Informative and entertaining, good shit dude!
I've just watched this video now, seems like it's the same for others! These long runs with commentary are great, will have to check out that sun quest video next
I love your standalone tutorials since im a nee player, but this "tutorial" full run just made things even more interesting to see, and also the sprinkled techniques you use through the run are a nice thing to ser
I've just started playing Noita and this is exactly what i was looking for. Awesome content, great explaining and soothing voice. Youre the Bob Ross of Noita. Love from Sweden!
Looks like I'm not the only one getting a 2 year old video in my recommended, but super helpful stuff! I've got like 30 hours in the game and still barely knew anything at all
@@Kiwi-1691 New update, surge of player interest and new content from creators, more views, youtube likes that and pushes it to more people. Can't complain though, made me discover Noita and I'm having a blast with it!
Awesome dude, thank you. There are a lot of Noita videos out there that are just confusing for less experienced players but your explanations as you play are incredibly helpful.
this man: *does the most interesting and useful things in the game i have ever seen*
also him: i hope im not boring anyone with my killing and getting op and all the health and exploits you could ever want, ya know
also seeing this run i realize most of my deaths was for a single small nugget...

Back in my day, we had to play Noita with no shoes on, going uphill in the snow whilst fighting mages that bled polymorph!!!
Your tutorial videos are VERY helpful, I was able to finish the game with your help! Still playing, still looking forward to your videos! thx
You’ve just scratched the surface of the game
I finished the game but felt like I still had no idea what was going on, I nuked a spider twice, did something, got teleported to a place where there was something called work, I planted some explosives and nuked the place then pressed E to pick it up because I thought there would be another boss, I instantly died then there was credits.
"and that's just because I play a ton, don't think there is anything to memorise there"
About the wands you recognise, there are actually visual rules you can memorise that tell you a variety of information about the wand from just it's sprite alone.
UA-cam randomly suggested this video and I stuck around until the end
The thing for complex enough games like Noita is that you can hear infinite amount of advices but never be able to utilize them in any meaningful way until you see somebody knowlegdeble demonstrating mindset you need to be in any given situation.
The best tips I've gotten as a new player (started a week ago) are that
1) Wandcrafting is (debatably) the most important thing to learn
2) (meta) Knowledge is power
I was hesitant to use outside resources and "spoil" the experience of discovering things myself but I quickly realized that I wouldn't have the time to go through this enormous world with a fine tooth comb. Life sometimes sucks like that but hitting those power combos and getting more consistent runs saved me more than enough frustration to make up for the fact I didn't discover some secrets organically.
The game is still fun when you sucks but to get more knowledge is really helpful, i think there is still a lot to discover.
I really enjoy your videos man, and seeing full runs with a theme of giving as much knowledge as possible helps a whole lot. I have an idea for a possible series of educational full runs tho:
how about you start the run with the intention of doing a specific thing, like "this run, I want to get to a parallel world" or "this run we will fight the skull boss" or " I will try to find the horror monsters lair.
The thing that annoys me the most about this game is the difference between what I know is possible vs. what I'm able to actually achieve.
luck, you see a bunch of cool stuff because people dont record all the boring stuff in between runs
Hands down the best Noita walkthrough I've come across. Helped me understand a few things that I was missing. Thank you!
Yes exactly I struggle getting a run on it's feet and I want to know how I should go around making a decent wand and know when I should do certain things I would love to see more o this for sure.
i started playing noita three days ago and haven't gotten past the third stage yet so thanks for the longform demonstration on how to actually play effectively. im not on twitch and prefer being able to rewind and pause so i appreciate this video a lot. also, its nice being able to learn from such a chill guy. its like having a friend play and explain it. very nice man ill definitely be checking out more of your vids💚
edit: also, i makes me happy to see this video still helping new players who also got Noita on sale recently over a year later. thank you on behalf of all of us noobs
yo thank you so much. your rambling is very much appreciated!! tbh those full runs compliment the tutorials REALLY well. the tutorials are nice if i have sth specific to look for, but just watching you play makes me think about how i play and reflect upon what i prioritize etc. its really really useful. thank you so much for explaining all your steps, knowing the WHY to your actions and prioritizations is so helpful!! thank you!
This content is phenomenal. Even years later, this is super useful. Thanks for doing it!
Also I believe wands that have an always cast spell will have a slight glow
I appreciate the love! Yep I am doing great, enjoying life, and playing Noita right now. Welcome to the Noita community =)
1 pixel of water + toxic sludge = water
is the advice I was looking for.
Teleportitis is a trap
I generally start over if I get teleportitis. I never pick it up on purpose, but sometimes the gamble perk will give it to me. I'll generally try to play thru it, but it almost always pisses me off
This is what I wanted when I searched for Noita videos. With a little bit of explanations about game mechanics. Thank youuuu
Keep it up!!!
we casually watch college level lectures but for noita...i love this community
It doesn’t even necessarily need to be the full long run, maybe just getting to the point where you start going to parallel worlds or some point at which you feel “ok, from here you’re a god, go do whatever you want.”
Another thing I’d like to see is some run or guide on returning to the surface at stage 3.
It’s useful to know what attributes excite you, and which ones are meh.
i would totally watch an all boss or sunquest run! really enjoyed this video too!
what i dislike most about noita is how much i need to think and how much time it costs me to craft a good wand when the whole thing could be lost in an instant
Helps a lot!
i would love some long nightmare runs.
thats a real skill showcase.
or showcase of how to get noita'd.(getting Noita'd makes for the best short vids/clips)
Edit: for people who like to watch long runs taking your time and just enjoying a good run is generally what we like to see. also i dont mind chat from your vods, seeing you engaged and having fun with them means your not forcing yourself to talk.
love the vids man keep up the good content.
If possible, upload your runs on yt. We dont have quality noita runs there, on yt. And we will gladly watch 3 2h vids per week.
Best intro to Noita I've seen. This should be the official tutorial.
2 years late, but loved the video!! I like that when you take time to do things. If it gets a bit boring, we can easily skip ahead with arrow keys and navigate the video. Cheers!
i've been playing for 130 hours, and i'm like "damn, you can do that?" the whole time watching
I love how the first hour of this 2 hour run is just the first two areas of the game
Finally managed to beat the game today after 130 hours! Managed to make a wand that brought me to 470 on the statues, thank you so much for your help!
Years later this is still great. I tend to overlook a lot of spells that you use in this video. I can feel my brain getting LARGER.
this is great and very helpful for someone just getting into noita, it's great to see how a pro does it start-finish
This was really fun to watch by the way. Exactly how you did it. Pointing stuff out, dropping some knowledge.
So much useful information for a game that doesn't give you ANY information (unless it's transcribed in a language of a cipher you have to learn on top of all the mechanics...) thanks for making us love this game in a whole new way
Really enjoyed this and the rants. I think it's nice to have a mix of high level/fast commentary with some in depth mixed in as well.
You got that laid back, rolling way of talking that is very enjoyable. The vid was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Informative and entertaining, good shit dude!
pretty perfect format, IMO explanations speed doesn't need to be adjusted, `cos it's just very chill the way it is :)
keep it up!
I've just watched this video now, seems like it's the same for others! These long runs with commentary are great, will have to check out that sun quest video next
I love your standalone tutorials since im a nee player, but this "tutorial" full run just made things even more interesting to see, and also the sprinkled techniques you use through the run are a nice thing to ser
i haven't finished this yet, but i don't have noita yet, and this is far far more useful than any 10 minutes tutorial i've seen so far.
nice job
this changed the way i play noita completely
I've just started playing Noita and this is exactly what i was looking for. Awesome content, great explaining and soothing voice. Youre the Bob Ross of Noita. Love from Sweden!
Same dude.
Samma här! ^_^ Bob Ross haha ja, precis som han. Tjena från Finland.
I shot a teleport into a lamp and died on 164 health.
that bones folder mechanic for the ghosts and wands is fucking crazy. this game is so funky i adore it
Loved this- would be great to see the long form quest runs in the future as well!
Looks like I'm not the only one getting a 2 year old video in my recommended, but super helpful stuff! I've got like 30 hours in the game and still barely knew anything at all
YEAH WHY ARE THOSE NOITA VIDEOS APEARING JUST NOW????
@@Kiwi-1691 New update, surge of player interest and new content from creators, more views, youtube likes that and pushes it to more people. Can't complain though, made me discover Noita and I'm having a blast with it!
Happy to watch, and I enjoy both the tutorials and longer videos. Cheers and thank you for the great videos!
I have ablout 15-20 hours in this game and I'm already learning a BUNCH of new things in only the first 10 minutes of this video
Awesome dude, thank you. There are a lot of Noita videos out there that are just confusing for less experienced players but your explanations as you play are incredibly helpful.
