I’m currently in the short stage. They do but it’s apart of the process when starting locs with shorter hair. I’d advise you wash with cold water. The cold locs the hair quicker. Even when it does unravel just sponge it again after the wash.

@@lilbabyrental wash your hair once a week if needed but if your hair smells good, you don’t need to wash it. The less you wash, the faster the progress

it depends on how your hair locks up or which direction it grows out, but if you comb it up lightly from the bottom it'll go up a bit more
