- Balanced Rock Road is an easy trail (mostly) that runs almost entirely downhill. For fun-sake I only filmed the way out (mostly uphill). You can do 90% of this trail in anything. Everything "hard" in this video is filmed at the very bottom. The worst section with the opposing holes and moguls in the thumbnail does not have a bypass. There are a bunch of cool campsites that are accessible to any truck or SUV along the way. All of the campsites I saw are on a separate loop with an easy entrance. If you're watching the video thinking "I could never get into those campsites though," don't worry because there is an easier entrance on the other side. Overall a pretty cool trail, it's Colorado so 75% of the sites offer great views and there seems to be an abundance of house-sized rocks to explore on foot.

Did this trail back in February, took it all the way down to Palmer Lake that was frozen over, a couple fun technical spots near the end of the trail
we should totally go wheeling together
Any issues with a wide vehicle (Raptor)? Doesn't look like it from video.. always love referencing your vids when picking a trail to tackle-thx.
hmm i don’t think so, maybe some pinstriping near the end but should be good. thanks for watching these!
