Y’know, I just realized why Jobby’s demons are more tame in this review. In his last FAIL box livestream, he mentioned that he wanted to do more reviews on stuff outside of Transformers. He acknowledges that, from a quantitative standpoint, most reviews outside of Transformers won’t garner as much views, but he’s willing to take that hit to keep himself happy and not burn out. And we see his statement reflected in this review. Jobby sounds a tad bit more lively and the skit characters that would usually antagonize him are a little less hostile.
I don't know if it counts for Japan but I know McFarlane has mentioned for their DC line WB doesn't like putting guns with their figures so they can't do it with the license, which might be why Arkham Knight doesn't have any
Batman is actually the Person. When the Trinity took the Lasso of Truth they asked their true names. Wonder Woman said Diana Prince. Superman said Kal-El. And the Dark Knight said Batman in the coldest way someone could say it.👍👍
Superman's identities have always been the most interesting to me. He can sort of stand in as Kal-El when he needs to represent krypton, but everything about that is just something he's learned from records.. the superman identity is just to inspire people, and the dork in glasses is just something he invented to have a social life, keep up on the news, and not be suspected as superman.. but the REAL real guy is Clark Kent the simple kansas farm boy, and literally nobody but his parents and Lana know _that_ Clark.

The no gun law for DC characters is annoying and I heard some other lines will have that policy implemented too but chainsaws and beating someone to a pulp with a crowbar is all good. I guess they don't want those very smart officers of the law mistaking a half inch plastic gun for the real thing.🥴👍 I'm going for the McFarlane version of this Batman because the price. I don't find it worth paying that much more for a similar looking figure.🤷♂️
The red swords would be for the comic version of the arkham knight who is not Jason Todd but some woman who was born during an Arkham riot. Maybe her origins have been made better in recent times but not likely.

I like the double reviews. It's probably a good way to talk about figures that don't have a whole lot going on with them, so packaging them together with another figure is a good way to keep the video length normal

Like your McFarlane Doomguy review, it feels like there could be more -- although that figure wasn't exactly giving a whole ton to work with lol But yeah, I like the format. If it helps you, then by all means, keep doing it. Same for the stream reviews, I like the variety.
Rather than the animated series, I grew up with Batman: the Brave and the Bold. I know that one is more sugarcoated but I was 5 at the time. And I also remember living it and watching it pretty much every day, so yeah Bagman became a huge part of my life. I’m excited to see the new Batman movie, but I’m not sure it’ll be good

Was starting to get a little burnt out from all the transformers/robot themed figures, and after watching The Batman, I have been in the batman mood lately so this came at a perfect time.

Ah, sadly the "no firearms" edict from DC already in effect for the Arkham Knight character. Though I definitely appreciate they kept the trigger finger hands so you can source your own. Otherwise both figures are amazing, the Batman is just everything I ever wanted in a TAS Batman toy when I was a kid and beyond my imagination with how articulated it is.
6:36, i think you can combine the half claw with the full claw together using that peg on too to make a solid cradle that can hold him up for arial poses

That gun policy in DC are absurd. There's a Batman Grim Knight statue that didn't have guns on the promotional pictures, all of The Suicide Squad Mcfarlane figures came ONLY with melee weapons, Hot Toys Peacemaker will have a glued-in gun on his holster, characters like Flashpoint Batman or Joker are being released with anything but firearms, etc. The most offensive one to me was Mcfarlane's Gotham Knights Red Hood. He came with fucking finger gun hands. And his pistols in the game are not even lethal.
I never did get a chance to grow up with the Animated Series but saw glimpses of a few episodes. Last year I finally took the time to watch ALL the episodes, and it holds up really amazing (except one episode which was hard to watch) honestly it felt like I was watching an old school anime at times, the animation is beautiful (some episodes) And the art deco style really is just awesome, I can't think of Batman without it.
Unfortunately Kevin Conroy passed away, R.I.P. the best and only Batman Who knows, maybe he will reincarnate in other world where DC characters are real, and he will become the real BATMAN!
Rest In Peace Kevin Conroy. Without him, we wouldn't see so many Batman series and cartoon that we used to watch and love. Altough he's depart from this world is painfull, his legacy will always be in our hearts

The shoulder joint on the Arkham Knight is perfectly shows how our arms move. I do like it actual figure but I don't like it has so many parts.
