@@intothenight1993 hahaha fair enough. Same goes for me with the flir camera technology on the water. Hopefully with time these things come down in cost.
Yes. I’ve hardly had a chance to even check the cameras again for the last few weeks now as I’ve been so flat out with work and been working away a fair bit too.
nice one mate great shot on that last pig how clear is that scope wish i could afford it lol id have to sell a kidney cheers mate thanks for putting the vids on
Haha thanks mate. Yes the picture is amazing but honestly I still prefer to use my pulsar Or the TH50v2 that I have on lone from InfiRay. The RS75 was a great scope but it was very heavy and high and not real user friendly.
Unfortunately I had to send it back before I got to shoot any more with it. I did see wild dog at about a kilometre away one night but didn’t have time to go after it.
See if you can borrow a drop trap from HogEye or someone like that. Bait them in then drop the trap remotely. Next morning you just walk up to the trap and shoot them all in the head. Just need some mobile reception.
They look like a good trap but pretty expensive. Our pig problem here isn’t that bad that we could justify one. And the mobile service is pretty touch and go.
@@intothenight1993 yeah definitely for high-traffic spots. In the US a lot of state/county govts have programs to subsidise the rental/purchase of the traps to offset the cost. Then there's that fact that everything just costs twice as much here in Oz.
Patience pays off well done ' give you a laugh, a woman in a neighbouring village said I'm losing hen's at a rate that was unacceptable, for two nights I got tucked in at the side of a wall not a thing , thinking there's something amiss here set a trail cam and in the left hand corner appears a fox 🦊 the bugger had climbed up a log pile in her neighbours property and walked on top of the wall looking down on me there's me thinking he'd winded me and all the time he was doing a song and dance routine over my head , the following night he got a bad case of lead poisoning. 👍
Their passion for the hunt is evident in every move they make, showcasing a deep connection to the wilderness.
Great work Josh, certainly creatures of habit 💪
Thanks Nathan. Yes but the hard part is working out what their habits are. 😂
Well done Josh it’s great entertainment for those of us who appreciate the work you do mate. 👍🏻
Thanks mate. Really appreciate the support
Watching from Wales great entertainment
Nice shooting mate! Good luck with fixing up the rest of that mob!
Thanks Brett👍
Well done Josh. Doing your bit to reduce the pig problem

Haha these ones are harmless 😉
Looks like a productive night.
It was 👌
Nice Josh that lead on that pig was perfect dropped in its tracks, well done mate cheers Yogi 👍
Thanks Brett. I was pretty happy with it. Bit more f guess work though.
@@intothenight1993 don't sell yourself short mate, your a bloody good shot cheers
@@brettstewart8765 haha thanks mate.
That was unreal mate, I had no idea you could buy that sort of technology. Granted it's bloody expensive, I'd say for farmers it would be worth it.
Haha I can’t buy it. It’s way out of my price range 😂

Great show. The Rico RS75 is nice kit.
Thanks. Yes it sure is.
Great shot on that distant pig on the run.
Thanks mate. 👍
A beautiful shot Mate.......
Thanks mate.
Great to see all your effort pay off.
Yes. Still more to get yet and they have been back since but I’ve been too busy with work to go out much since.
What a long shot on that last pig it looks like you shoot a metre in front of him and he walked right into the bullet
Haha pretty much. 😂
Nice shooting! Looks like a lot of fun. Here in Texas, we've been known to hunt hogs with helicopters and full-auto weapons.
Haha I can only imagine 😂
Worked hard for those and it paid off, be interesting to see if they come back and what those new carcasses attract
Yes. I’ve hardly had a chance to even check the cameras again for the last few weeks now as I’ve been so flat out with work and been working away a fair bit too.
Leading shots, whoah, good stuff
Thanks Michael 👍
I hear you say you use Avenza.
I've given it a go too.
Any others you like as well?
And good work with that fancy new loan scope too Josh.
Avenza is the best I’ve used yet.
Good one nice bit of gear mate 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks mate. 👍
Thanks, good work
Thanks 👍
Great vid mate
Thanks mate 👍
Solid shooting, especially downing them on the run! That scope has some great clarity too
Thanks Daniel. 👊

Is this your family farm josh? Incredibly lucky 😍
No but I manage it.
Best job ! thanks for the opportunity to take a view of it watching from Wales
I really need to get a left handed Ruger Scout. Nice shooting!
Do they make a left handed one?
How many babies were in that big sow? She looked so close to having them. Great to get her out.
I didn’t have time to open her up. So I don’t know sorry mate.
Awesome vid mate must be time for one on the spit lol....
Haha thanks Adam. Haha I don’t think I’d be eating any from here.
Yessir
Good job
Thanks 👍
Dam, with that night vision scope looking fwd to y'all cleaning up some dogs and hogs with it?
Unfortunately I had to send it back before I got to shoot any more with it. I did see wild dog at about a kilometre away one night but didn’t have time to go after it.
Great video as usual. What moulded ear plugs are you using. Need to find something comfy and doesn't get in the way like muffs do
They are some DIY silicone mould ones off eBay but I’m thinking of getting some better professionally made ones but they are a lot of $$$
Good stuff. Shame we're not allowed suppressors, particular silly regulation that one
Yes, isn’t it!
I can hear your heart beating, same thing happens to me just before taking the shot.
Two sows full of piglets are prime targets.
Yep👌
Just a scope why so expensive?/
🤔
Commitment equals success
Yep 👌
🤔🤔 amazing hunting 😊
Thanks
Good shooting 👍
Thanks Robert 👍
Good shit maaaate..b safe.👍.
Thanks David.
Did you drag the pigs back to the dead pile to keep it producing?
No. But there is the big boar I shout the other week there and they haven’t even touched it.
Ahhh fussy eaters up your way, I'm sure you'll give them a lead pill to help out with that 🤘
Excellent shooting
Thank you for your efforts
Thanks mate. 👊
What ammo you use 308 on big hunting?
In that video I was using 130gr Hollow Points from Speer in my reloads. Lately I’ve been using ADI 135gr HP factory ammo.
Yep top save sows could of poped Out at least avg 10 piglets. Near dam pay to corn up lol.
sweet Josh, will you throw them on the cow bone pile, and catch them eating each other ?
No I didn’t move them. Sometimes they will eat each other but only if they are really hungry.
Love the bustards ripper birds be good if ya could farm them be a billion dollar businesses for Australia.
I think they are the wedgetail eagle.

It would be Great to have a Semi Auto rifle when you are taking a MOB
Yes. Still might be a possibility down the track.
