He’s super good. But have you ever heard rob wright of nomeansno play? He’s definitely better, and a true punk (unlike flea or les claypool). I grew up idolizing them both (Matt and Rob)

Rancid is my favorite modern punk band hands down. That's not including hardcore. Ska and punk rancid is the best of my gggeneration.
I remember seeing them in Chicago back in the 90's when the "Lunachicks were opening for them and the crowd was not into the girls opening up for some reason...Lars walked out and stage dove into the crowd to stir things up then later aked for the buttons back everyone plucked off his jacket when they got onstage LOL
thank you for sharing this legendary full performance, i remember when im at junior high school, i had this one live video of this performance, its time bomb, i wanna have full performance of this concert, and now, 15 years later i can see this finally :')

You’re referring to the first self titled ? With the gun on the cover . I was just talking about that album to a good friend of mine . It’s so gritty , it feels like it takes place in a gritty city during a foggy rain at night .There’s something so good about that album, It’s kinda hard to describe . Nothing like it .

Who ever was in charge of sound did a terrible job, that is why is sounds funny and why you really cant hear the instruments that great. Tim is also a very amazing and under rated guitarist...Since Lars is the lead guitarist, Tim just takes it easy and takes care of the singing.

Well, ever since Lars became the main guitarrist, Tim's been taking it easy lol. Look at any other Lead singer that plays guitar. They barely even touch it. Only for solos or some extras.
