- Check out one of the best hidden gem casinos located within the Reno/Sparks Nevada area. this place is called the Western Village Inn.
This place is usually known for its very good steakhouse and cafe. Every time we're in town we stopped by here to eat at the restaurants and also play in the casino. I really hope you guys enjoy this video and consider adding this place to your list of things to see and do when in the Reno/Sparks area.
The village was one of the cleanest casinos in Reno. My wife and I would go once a week for dinner at Poncho & Willies or the steak house, the food was top drawer! After dinner she played her favorite slots while I played the craps table. During the pandemic a couple years ago The Western Village removed all table games, which I was sorry to see go and I am sure a lot of other players also. Since they removed the table games I haven't been back

Do they still lack table games, or have they brought them back?
If there are no table games then it can't really be called a casino.

I did not see one Vegas style classic slot machine on this tour. All they have I guess is the newer rip off penny cartoon machines? The worst machines to play. Ever wonder why they took all those other classic style slots out and replaced them with these cartoon penny machines? Because they rack up way more revenue on those style machines then the classic style machines, oh yes they will tell you its because the parts are so hard to get now on those older style classic slots but that is BS because if all the casinos in Nevada especially Vegas and Reno had say 50 % of those old style machines still the companies that used to make those parts would still make them. When you take all those great slots out of all the casinos then there is no reason to make parts anymore so those machines are going away fast. Right now you can still find them at casinos but not many. Eventually they will be a novelty and you might find them a couple casinos. Similar to the machines that drop the coins before vouchers.
Do you think their machines paying lol at least keep your money last for a bit not like their main casino pepermill can’t win anything lol
It's really hit or miss, but I can tell you the Betti Yetti machine I've had good luck on a couple of times. Haven't been to the peppermill in a while, but sounds like the peppermill doesn't pay well at all?
