Haha yeah. It's cheaper than staying at a hotel or hostel every few days though, which is what most through-hikers do to charge their power banks. Be sure to thoroughly test your solar charger to make sure it'll meet your needs... most people find that solar doesn't provide enough power unless you carry a fairly large and heavy array, so it's only really practical on long expeditions where there's no other option.
