    can't we choose bass,arp or etc in same house engine vst? do we need to copy chord and paste to another one then choose bass or etc?

      HouseEngine can only replay one preset at a time. If you want to listen to multiple presets side by side, you will need to work with several HouseEngine instances.

    Hi, quick question. I would like to buy House Engine Pro, but just have this last question. Does the midi gets generated by AI or is the generated midi based on existing presets/phrases which gets forced into the Scale/Key of the Chord Progression? Thank You!

      Hi, I wrote a small article about the generative aspects here: feelyoursound.com/will-houseengine-melodies-always-sound-the-same/
      I hope this helps :)

    Can you start from a melody (which you already have, so it's not generated by the plugin) and generate a bassline and chords from that with this plugin?

    If you press the dices for random chords, it's always in minor. Changing to major doesn't do anything and pressing the lock scale sets it always back to minor. Is this normal?

    • @feelyoursoundHQ
      @feelyoursoundHQ  2 роки тому +1

      Some of the generators can create both Major and Minor chord progressions, others only create Minor chord progressions (Minor is the most used scale in House music). When you activate "Lock scale (if generator is compatible)", HouseEngine will take a look if the current generator is compatible with the scale that you selected. If a generator is not compatible, it will keep the tonic, but replace the scale.
      Maybe I will add an info about the "scale compatibility" for each generator in a future version.

      best would be a modular approach with "presets" where artists can sell style definition like they do for cuthulu presets. This would hughely increase its useability.
