    This is a very nice update. Thanks again. But I must stress the fact that we need more in depth tutorials on this in order to understand the concept better as it would make it easier to see what exactly is going on.

      I totally agree this is why I haven't bought the product

    It would have been useful to see a piano roll during your demo of Chord Potion, so the changes you made were visible as well as audible.
    It also would have been good to see Chord Potion at work during or side-by-side with your explanation of the various techniques, with the piano roll visualization.
    Just seeing Chord Potion alone with a verbal description is not enough to easily understand what it's doing for someone like me who does not have music theory knowledge nor musical training. I need the visuals of a piano roll to better understand what's going on.

    When presenters talk about music without playing it. WHY. Came here to evaluate as I was thinking about buying. Static images with no sound isn't the way to do this.

    But now how to create baselines with House Engine?

    • @feelyoursoundHQ
      @feelyoursoundHQ  Рік тому +1

      HouseEngine will create them for you! Check out the video at the top of this page: feelyoursound.com/houseengine/. HouseEngine will generate new basslines and melodies etc., and you can drag and drop them to your DAW then.

    Is there a way of just keeping it so the root note of the scale is always hit?

    • @feelyoursoundHQ

      There are several different techniques that you can use inside ChordPotion.
      For example, you can replace ALL the input chord notes with scale notes. This is useful if you don't need the chords at all, but only want to work on the scale. To do this, open "Page CFX" and set a box to "Replace with scale notes".
      If you want to keep the chords, but need to trigger a scale note from time to time, you will have to work on the pattern level. Take a look at the Step FX block of a note. Turn "Rand. note move" to 100%, and choose "Next or equal scale tonic".

    The scale note feature is a great function but its implementation feels a bit clunky to play with. Maybe use a "long press" on the [+] and [-] buttons to trigger adding or removing a note from the chord note. Display it with a "up" ^ and "down" v marker next to the digit. Like 1^ or 2v.

    Is it possible to one day turn the digital input into a graphics mode, like a piano roll, and of course still support the drag and drop function.

      ChordPotion will keep sticking to the step sequencer concept, I think. I know that step sequencers can look a bit uncommon at first. But on the other hand, they make it easier to work with things like randomized stop signals, randomized pitches and wrapping patterns.

    i wish there was a way that when you are editing the arp you could still here the other arps. i would like to adjust the steps in context to the other arps without having to exit from edit mode....oh. Great product!

    Thanks Hauke - I always see the extra buttons and options in there but sometimes feel overwhelmed by them. This will definitely give me more to tinker around with it.

    • @feelyoursoundHQ
      @feelyoursoundHQ  2 роки тому

      Yes, the extra buttons are quite powerful and offer a lot of possibilities for more advanced sequences. I can understand that they can be overwhelming in the beginning. But I think it's worth digging into it. As soon as the general concept becomes more familiar, the different options are quite easy to use.

      This is nothing like scaler. This can be used in conjunction with scaler and instead of using preset patterns This allows you to create your own using rhythm alone. 2 Great plugins

    Another great video on a superb plug in, thank you.
    I would like to make a suggestion though.
    I would really like the preset saving/loading to be hierarchical rather than a flat list of all available presets.
    I like to make and reuse presets and the flat list soon becomes unwieldy.

    • @feelyoursoundHQ
      @feelyoursoundHQ  2 роки тому

      Hi Adrian, thanks for your feedback! You can already use the preset list in a hierarchical way. When you save your presets in an own sub-folder of the main preset folder, ChordPotion will list this sub-folder in brackets in the main list (like "[ my own folder ]"). When you click on this item, ChordPotion will show you only presets of the sub-folder. However, the hierarchy is limited to this depth, so no "sub-sub-folders" for now^^.
