Where can I get a list of ALL of the 2019 Pioneer model releases? The Pioneer website is trash and doesn't really help me figure which stereos are the latest and greatest.

Just installed this unit. Great video very informative, on point! Have Subscribed. One thing I have noticed when playing movie media from my phone in mp4 format, via the usb input, the video is not very smooth sometimes. Would this be smoother if I utilized the HDMI input?
If you play through your phone, your phone handles the processing as opposed to using the USB drive, which depends on the headunit processor. So the phone will be smoother.
Mostly the same features but the dmh lost automatic time alignment, only has one usb c input, and no cd/dvd player. It does however have a capacitive touch screen, and an updated interface with widgets and a web browser.
You mentioned the GPS antenna and then failed go back to it. So I'll ask what others have asked. Why does a radio without navigation, some with a GPS antenna.
Hey curious to find out since the w4500 nex comes with a hdmi input could we connect the iPhone directly to the beck instead to using the Av lighting cable
Do you know if when connecting via weblink and you mirror your phone to the radio if it will display on the rear entertainment? I have an above head dvd player and 2 headrest monitors. Everything can run individually or whatever the head unit displays.
By the same token, if you otherwise like the 4400 you might be able to have parking assist lines by switching to a camera that has them. It should be less expensive than changing head unit's.
Can someone tell me if there are any recent stereos that support wireless mirroring or miracast? 2018/2019. US versions only. I had bought a Kenwood ddx9017s only to find out it was a region 3 and no one else had one for sale. I'm looking at Ebay and Amazon btw.

DO NOT BUY!!!! Avh w4500 nex FULL OF ISSUES. LIFESPAN ON AVERAGE OF 18 MONTHS 😂 cheap SD cards used that fail and pioneer will charge you $200 a year to fix it. What a joke. Don’t waste your money
My avh-4200 just went out. Had it for a year. They said the firmware upgrade was done in August and I didn't know Who knows to check k for firmware upgrades. Anyway...I just bought this 4500 for my Denali. Cant wait to hook this thing up. Looks like a great upgrade. Same.wire.connextuons so set up should be simple. Your videos always are on point . Thanks. I like the plugs dint go directly in the back of the radio. Makes install way easier.

Like the 8100 or 8200 can you hold MODE to shut the screen off without killing audio? While night driving I like to shut the screen off but other brands don’t.
Has anyone had troubles with notifications amd texts not showing up on screen? My s10 worked perfectly then I switched to an s21 and it quit working. I tried different apps, I have all permissions allowed on my phone, tried a factory reset on the head unit, there is no firmware update. Any ideas??? This is pretty important feature for keeping eyes on the road!

My CD player went out and then after that it just started shutting down the radio and I would have to shut the car off and let it reboot start up the car and turn it back on and just stay away from the CD player. Took it in for service and as you might expect it was working kind of OK that day the technician said they'll probably turn it on and say it's working and just ship it back to me I paid for a 4 year warranty but it's not doing me any good. This was a very expensive radio this was a very expensive radio to haven stalled and I'm totally bummed out at Pioneer

I purchased a car with this radio already installed. The thing that I am having problems with is that every time I turn the car on, I have to put the radio and my iPhone on search mode to find each other, it doesn’t happen automatically, which drives me insane. The radio shows the phone of the previous owner and I have tried to delete it but to no avail.
Appears to have a lot of features like the 80prs but a little extra.. Pioneer always delivers with their higher end head units.. never disappointing 👌🤙

Personally I feel that these double din stereos should be upgraded every 2 years in our cars. Just sell your current stereo , add some cash on top and buy a same year stereo.

Yes as long as you by pass the parking brake but the quality is suck though very slow and lack not like you using the phone it’s like you using the Samsung galaxy S2

I've got one of these and it's been great. Just had some major transmission work (i.e. battery was disconnected for duration) and now the unit seems to forget which track I was listening too after every shutdown/startup. Tried the factory reset button, SD/USB reformats and different track options. No luck. Any thoughts?

I ended up getting a RF 600X5. It’s 729 rms. I think I need a different sub. I tried to take advantage of the center rear deck location with a 4ohm dvc 8” power bass wired for 2ohms. Problem is that the amp clips really bad when the volume is up and the bass kicks in. I’ve tried tweaking it here and there (sub level at head unit, eq, amp gain, punch eq, and bass knob) I always have to chase a good bass response. Any suggestions?

Question is can I make it fit by cutting something in particular or anything that you know, because this thing cost me a lot of money and I got everything I need including data links so I would really like to get it into my Wrangler. Bass Head it’s still helpful for new lookers but it is confusing as I believe in the uk this head unit is the avh z9200dab

Do you think the 4400 will ever get the guidelines? I hate that they never added them I loved the convenience of having them on my old 4100 nex.
It's not the radio that has the guidelines it's the backup camera that you have.

Can the screen be turned off with a button somehow, without going into the menus?
Screen off is power off... by holding the center home button. Other then that, no.
I'm wrong, just messed with my 3300nex... Hold the Back button for a few seconds. It displays 'screen off' for a seconds, then goes blank.

The backup lines really shut off every time? Why would they do that? That doesn’t make any sense.
It has to do with a DOT law that they don’t want to get sued over.

My camera when I put it in reverse is just black everything else works fine but the backup camera

Samsung makes their own HDMI to USBc adapter.

No the dash is super shallow in that dash.
