Great video! It helped us a lot to finally kill the first boss! Boss 2+3 were first try first kill, so easy in comparison to first boss. Lets see how the next ones will work. I was always trying to tank twins alone at beginning but always died because of vulnerability, when we switched aggo it instantly went better!
Off topic but do you have a link to a video or file listing sets and where they are supposed to be worn ? As in more on the weapons compared to the body and such ?
I've been trying my hand at tanking a lot more lately. Watching this video on 1st boss mechanics, my question is this. If you start out as main tank and take the boss, when you get the tank swap mech (10s to make swap), you then get a 20s fragility to that kind of element correct? So when the off tank takes the main boss for swap, does he also take the attros and hold them until the dubuff drops off the main tank? If I heard correctly, after you make the swap you have a 20s debuff (fragility to let's say ice) meaning any attacks from ice boss or ice attros would 1-shot? I was under the impression that after the swap is made, which ever tank doesn't have boss takes attros, but how do you manage that if the attros would 1-shot you due to having the debuff? To verify, I'm not talking about tank swap when the room splits, regarding 1st/2nd phase tank swaps.
You do take the atros since they won't 1-shot you (and the boss will) but you will take increased damage. Make sure to not get hit by the tornadoes from the atros as they will probably kill you while fragility is on you.
@@TheTankClub Ah okay. I've ran it on vet multiple times but only as a DD. The tanks would always be stressing for everyone to kill the attros, but never specified why. You did cover this in the video, I just have a tendency to sometimes pause a video and jump the gun on a question in the moment.
This is probably a dumb question - on final, why are you on the right vs left? I have been standing on the left. Just wondering if its something I missed or something for hardmode that I haven't seen yet. Thank you for the video! Your content and explanations are amazing! I have been fearful of roll dodging things in here - so I have just been blocking. Glad to know I can roll a few things without enraging things.
As I have noticed - group stays between the wind starts, so they follow the wind. As for MT - he should stay at the position where one wind moves to rolldodge through it. Good visual to define positions is HM banner - group stays to the left and MT to the right of it
Doesn't really matter. You can have the MT holding the bosses that group are focusing and OT takes the ones that they are not. Or you just take a boss that spawns when you don't have one and alternate.
My tanks are having a hard time with the tank swap on the Twins. It sounds like there’s some way to control or predict when the 10 second debuff is applied so they may conveniently switch while the bosses and applying the runes to other group members. How can my tanks predict or better time the switching mechanic?
Well the most important thing is not to panic and switch immediately - as soon as its time for the switch you have 10 seconds to do it so I always let my Tank partner know "get ready to switch soon" and then we'll position ourselves ready to run quickly to the other side, it lets the healers know we are about to run and leave all healing and we need some help, then once the perfect moment happens where a boss is locked in a mechanic (or the time is almost up) its a quick 3-2-1-Switch. As the tanks switch they should sprint & dodge but also make sure they are using skills to buff, protect and heal themselves for the 2 seconds it takes to switch side
I use Clench the whole time yes. On boss 1 I often use both Clench and Inner Rage because I am in charge of Minor Brittle for my group but need the range taunt for the Atros
I tanked the trail on normal and we got to last boss and we gott stomped hard!! Never felt sho shity as a tank😂😂!! Youlna nasa turning tide i was using and a difrent sett upp for trash mobs!! Looking sho forward to this video!!
If it is not difficult you can explain me, in simple words: What should be done on the last boss: "Big Atronach". What exactly does Maine Tank need to do? If you can explain in more detail without terms, without game slang. What and when to do in detail and not to die, too? Thanks in advance. And what does the second tank at this time what his task?
As a healer, I've learned A LOT MORE from this video than I have from those tailored specifically to my role. :D Cheers, mate!

I'm excited for this, I'm tanking this tonight with my guild, so it's going to come in clutch!
Good luck!

Does the deluge always happen during/after the tidal wave? Or can it happen randomly?

@@RUst_A the winds can go both ways - which is why I was asking. Does it go counter more than clockwise? We've had it move both ways.
For the reef guardian boss; what order are tanks taking bosses? MT takes L, OT takes medium, does MT take the small or does OT?
Doesn't really matter.

yo TC, biggest question on this - HOW TO MAKE TURTLE NOT MOVE?
The boss? It gets stuck by itself - it’s a bug
Are you usin frost clench the whole trial? Tried it a few times and find it difficult to use, as it's only 15 m whereas the undaunted taunt is 28 m.

@@TheTankClub I keep seeing a blue circle under you during add pulls. That is what I am talking about.
I'm guessin, thats Defiled Dragon from the Maarselok dungeon
During those add pulls I am using Defiled Dragon, Turning Tide and Encratis

700 cp arcanist 🗿

*spends ten minutes explain one boss fight*
That’s it fight is simple 😂
If it's that simple, why are you watching a video on how to do it? And watching for 10 mins. Good luck out there.
