    Pulled the trigger and bought myself the BNF version from Horizon this week !!! I Can't wait to get it. The airplane is really engineered well. I love how sturdy the control horns are and how much rigidity they built into the speedster. Great video. Really enjoy the level of detail you put into them.

    Man that prop looks deadly. What switch do you use to kill throttle? I use switch A to keep my fingers when I handle a live plane.

    this kind of reminds me of a MUCH better version of the old Freewing Moray. something about 5yrs ago, i wanted a pylon racer and the Freewing Moray was low cost and seemed to fit what i wanted. it wasnt terrible for what it was, but it really didnt like doing anything except full throttle. anyways, this seems like a MUCH better version of it, from Eflite and the quality seems so much better. i havent flown my Moray in about 4yrs because i jsut really didnt like it. this on the other hand, this seems nice and i might actually go ahead and get one.. that being said, my old Parkzone P-51D Gunfighter that i have upgraded is a BEAST and will probably give this thing a run for its money. lol

    Hey
    Great video.
    I got a question, have mine almost ready for maiden. Just some controlls are off.
    Exactly the throw of the aileron and elevator are 2-5 mm off. All is centered and alined. With dual rates on it also is to little throw. In the manual it should be 2 or 3 mm more. Any idea what to do?
    Should I fly it like that?
    It's my First plane of that kind. Thanks a lot

    Rich. Excellent presentation and review. Eflite keeps getting better. Love that they are incorporating the SMART tech in these planes for those of us who like that. 👍👍. Did I see a cooling fan on that ESC? Is that on the BNF? Thanks for sharing. Good stuff Bud. 😎

    • @RCINFORMER
      @RCINFORMER  4 роки тому

      Yes, they put the fan on for additional cooling... Yes. BNF! It's a great flying model... It's very easy to fly but a little challenging to land smoothly... but I like the challange:)

    Any word on if it’s possible to hand launch and grass land with gear up? I know this might just be a tad to heavy to do so but my field has tall grass and a gear down takeoff would be tough to pull off. Great review by the way! Much appreciated!

    you know what ive noticed about control rods that have to go through a tube? they bind up on me. im not sure why, but it happens. i have used a drop of Hoppes gun oil and it stops it from happening. its something weird ive noticed and it might just be something that happens with me because that is just how my luck goes, but i figured i would mention it if someone else is having similar issues.

    • @RCINFORMER

      Probably corrosion from moisture...

    • @millermonsterair
      @millermonsterair 4 роки тому

      @@RCINFORMER its possible. its VERY possible. it does get pretty humid here. not as bad as Florida, but im in NC and it does get up there sometimes. plus, the grass is wet sometimes and im sure that gets in somewhere and starts to corrode the control rod. either way, i use Hoppes gun oil and it seems to really help with it. if i do it once, it tends to not need it again for the life of the model.

    Pretty cool, but pricey, a better option and more affordable would be the Conscendo Evolution, I put a speed prop on mine and upgraded the ESC, on a flat run was able to get 129 mph, verified by a on board GPS, in a dive the GPS showed 156 mph.....

    If you don't mind dumping hundreds down the rabbit hole then this is for you! Like the V900, there will foam snow all over the flight-lines of America. Don't waste your money on a high dollar Smart battery as it's gonna burn up when you stuff this thing in the dirt.
