A couple of guys at the field fly the older hand-launch version of this, and it's always fun to watch and listen - but this is even better with the re-tracs! Just awesome!
Suggestion... slow down your flap speed in your radio to five to seven seconds. It will kelp keep the plane from ballooning on you when you deploy the flaps. It has the added advantage of looking awesome too! That thing looks killer. Great job.
I think that is a great suggestion! I’ve done that on a couple planes in the past but it would hugely benefit this plane especially on landings! Thanks for tuning in 👍😁😎⚓️
Last year flew mine with a 6s6000 and put in a Dynamite Speed meter, did a steep dive, with the wind and got a reading of 166mph!!!! I'm still shaking from that flight. What a rush!!!!!!
WOW, Beautiful plane and wanna get this. :) I'm always enjoying watching your channel . I used to fly drones, but I fell in love with the charm of the plane after watching the RC airplane introduction video.I practiced with a microplane, but recently, I am challenging a 1.5m long planes(cessna>sky surfer >seal wing>?). The first flight of the Sessna plane was not very good. It took off and crashed within three seconds. :( but, Take-off and landing are good now. Please continue to introduce good products. Take care,
Great job Abbey. Even when Nate said he flew too close for you to keep up with the plane, you still always had it in the frame. Your laugh at his antics makes me laugh along.
What an amazing & super fast jet! Too bad I'm not advanced enough to get it. But once I get really good, I can get one. Definitely do a speed test. Excellent video Nate & Abby!! ⚓😊
I know it’s day is coming, I’m positive of it. But it has left me just wanting more!!! I’ll be needing to sell a plane or two in order to buy another one of these 😉👍😁😎👍
That plane ✈️ sounds amazing 🤩. Hi Abby and Nate thanks for the vlog .Abby did well keeping up with the rc. The only thing missing was some yellow on the rc.
Looks like it wants to take off in your hands. Love the way they put the blue stripes on. It's Fast, sounds Great & looked great in the air. Way cool 😎 flying machine. ⚓⚓👍💛💜💚👍😎👍⚓⚓.
At the point of intended landing or 90° of intended touchdown (since this plane is so fast) that's when you should lower flaps and landing gear. It's also the way I was taught flying jets and General Aviation aircraft
That is radical dude. Booking fast. Low wings in real planes it’s actually easier to land without flaps, it will just come in faster. The reasoning is that you will get more lift and the air effect from air hitting the ground will cause floating effect. Use flaps while coming in and then raise them up when its about 25 feet off runway, but be careful of the stall. Its better to not use them for landing on a low wing. My father was a pilot and he never used flaps on any wing.
One great video to not all planes require full flaps you might want to set up your flaps on a triple switch or at least a high low so that you can have low flaps and high flaps and an off position the other thing is definitely please post a speed video I would love to see telemetry on board that so we can see what the GPS says it got for speed. That didn't look like anywhere near 200 miles an hour to me but I would believe 120 or 130. I've been a fan of this channel for years now you guys are awesome please keep up the great work, keep on showing me what's new.
Nice flight Nate . I have the V900 and it flys amazing even after crashing 💥 it several times. This is tempting me to get it while it’s on sale but I have no more room for any aircraft.
Whew I can’t imagine putting this thing down in the grass. It needs so much space to slow down!! I’ve already bent my landing gear some. Rookie mistake, but still…
Finally bought one this week, running on 4500 110c 6s and my on board gps peak speed 277kph without a dive so happy enough and it actually lands alot slower then you think so far enjoying mine
@technicaltrucking8704 I put the 10x10 on it and tattu 5100 95c in it and got 339kph on my onboard gps so stoked with that, to scared to put it into a dive tho but I reckon would get 370 + in a dive
I am realizing that too about the gear on mine not holding up super well. One rough landing and you are going to bend it. Still, what a thrill to fly!! 👍😁😎⚓️
We try to just enjoy whatever we are doing together. Pointless to argue over most things, especially a healthy hobby! Life is too short and too precious. We hope you are having a great day and are very grateful you chose to spend some time with us. 👍😁😎⚓️
Hello!! I have been wanting to ask you both a question and didn't know better way to reach. I am new at Rc helicopter and want to get one I can use outside. I have the little Amazon one now I use indoor. Would you recommend either eqchine 130 or 129..or something else?? Thanks!!
Blade makes some good bnf helis with SAFE. I tried internet purchases, Walkera, etc, but you will need parts. I learned the hard way, and waiting for parts to come in the mail sucks. So getting an easier to fly hobby shop model is the way to go. Blade models with an “s” will have SAFE so you can concentrate on flying instead fighting it from crashing. Plus, if you have a Spektrum radio, you can download and input radio settings for all of the Blade helis, even fly them in PC sims with your radio. It will save you HUNDREDS of dollars! My two cents worth. 🤓
I was standing in front of the big TV...looking up with my head going from left to right/right to left at your full throttle passes.. This plane is scary fast. Speed test. Speed Test. Please.

Dear Horizon Hobbies. Please use softer tires. all new E Flite models come with rock hard tires.

filming .... spot on
What an amazing & super fast jet! Too bad I'm not advanced enough to get it. But once I get really good, I can get one. Definitely do a speed test. Excellent video Nate & Abby!! ⚓😊
I had several of these planes. And even with all the safety features it has, It's not a question of if you're going to crash it's a question of when!!

@@TheRcSaylors yes! This plane is also very addictive! It seems as though it dares you to master it. Lol

A rtf pylon racer. A significant aircraft indeed!

Gosh that is booking. And sounds awesome.Nicely done the landing was nicely done as well.
Insanely AWESOME need for speed!! Thanks Saylors, love your videos!! 💟👍😘
Great Job! I bet the landing would have been better up closer where you could have a better view of what the plane was doing.
Ya my v1200 definitely got my heart rate up. Soooo exhilarating. Love it!
Thanks I enjoyed seeing that!
Awesome!! Thanks so much for tuning in! 👍😁😎
Beautiful plane!
Absolutely LOVE flying this! Gets that blood pumping!! 👍😁😎⚓️
Wow. Just a awesome bird. It is nerve racking to fly that fast. But what a rush
I think it is what’s helping keep me alive through these strange and stressful times! I just want to keep flying this thing!

Awesome prop speedster! Has to be a blast to fly.
Man I can't waite to get home from work and watch this flick. That dude looks fast as a son of a gun.
I had the V900 model it used to like torque rolling on take off at full power (hand launched) Fast little model once you got it in the air.
holy moley that thing flies insanely fast
That's insane! Sounds seriously windy out there too. You're brave!!
😁 This got the adrenaline going for sure!! 💯👍😎⚓️
Abby and Nate y'all rock! That plane is fast and sounds so good! Love the channel and content! I'm here for the algorithm! Peace

Electrical power is measured in watts. In an electrical system power (P) is equal to the voltage multiplied by the current.
Love SPEED ! 👍
im sold thanks for these videos you and your spouse make they are awesome!!!!
Yes on the speed run!
Very nice awsome sound
I think this plane is a blast to fly. A little down elevator in the flap mix and your golden. I wouldn't want to take off or land in the grass either.

THE Ultimate De-Lux , fancy , FAST Aircraft ever! 😎
So much speed! So much fun!! 💯👍😁😎⚓️
That is amazing
Also remember low wings love to float because of ground effect which is general the length of 1/2 the wing span
Ive been flying it on realflight a little. The thing seems nuts.
Nuts, but awesome nuts! 👍😁😎⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors like 90mph at 3rd throttle awesome. Lol
Verry nice.
Thanks for tuning in with us and hanging out! 👍😁😎⚓️
Beautiful aircraft. Why did you land this hot ship down wind ?
Love that thing 😱 your content 2👍
That was awesome💪😎
It was a good landing for a down winder. After the first pass, I thought you were going to turn the direction around.
It should be quite simple to calculate the speed off the doppler effect by the frequency shift as it passes ;)
Or drop a GPS speedometer inside the plane for a readout when you land.
@TheRcSaylors are you using 100c batteries? If not get one before the speed test.
I took that motor and speed control and put it in a extra 300 ! Wow crazy
Oh that sounds like fun!! Is it punchy!? High torque to pull out of bad situations on the Extra?
Would definitely be interesting to see what a GPS data logger would read on those full-throttle passes. Despite the taxi nose-over, nice landing!
Got mine to 174 on my gps
you guys need to do a speed test
Absolutely planning on doing that on the channel soon 👍😁😎⚓️
Exactly cos that is not 200mph. The speed u have there is probably like 130mph.
That's awesome, I don't have the room to get that kind of speed in my field, lol
love my v1200 however the gear doesn't hold up well to grass landing's so i usually land with the gear up in the grass to save on them
Whew I can’t imagine putting this thing down in the grass. It needs so much space to slow down!! I’ve already bent my landing gear some. Rookie mistake, but still…

I’m hoping we’ll have a Speed Test video up later tonight actually! This is going to be awesome!! 👍😁😎⚓️

hi nate and abby could you recommend a sim for flying? preferably on android kind regards keep up the good work
The big guy upstairs? An overweight air traffic controller in the tower? He gave you permission to fly there, that is why you are thanking him?

Level-flight top speeds up to 100+ MPH with 4S batteries and up to 140+ MPH with 6S batteries

Speed test very happily coming!! Haha, that sounds like fun sirhil!! 😂👍😁⚓️
You guys should put a video camera on a plane. That would look so awesome 👍
Does the safety help in landing also?
Oh absolutely it can help a lot in landings 👍😎😁
What is fly and bind?
Bind-n-fly is ELite's branding for planes factory equipped with the receiver already installed, generally sold with AS3X gyro stabilization and optional ©Safe Select bank limiting software. Planes referred to as "plug-n-play" will require a seperately purchased receiver. Regardless of which type, you will have to generally supply your own flight batteries and radio transmitter. The Bind-n-fly planes from EFlite are equipped with Spectrum brand receivers, and are best paired to a Spectrum gen 2 or 3 DSMX transmitter. Hope this helps.
Cheaper than I thought it would be :-)
Still too expensive for my budget. Maybe next year.
Please, 5s for the next flight
Look for it at auction or liquidation. Got a v900 from a liquidation today. Only a little damage on the wingtip. Everything was still in the plastic wrap. Total out of pocket was under 35 bucks
Scary fast. Please be careful with that plane.
Stock 10x8 prop? Over 200 with the 10x12...
The website says it hits 140mph on 6cell. I'm curious, where did you get your 200mph number?
