mostly it's just practice... keep your left hand "open" and learn about bow pacing and pressure. If you practice 2 hours a day, you'll see a lot of improvement within a month, and you'll be proficient with quite a few songs within a year.... if you don't practice, you won't ever improve. It's more like learning a language, and less like learning the bicycle in that way.
