Does anybody remember vagrant story from square-soft? That's what the main character reminds me of. 😮 even tho this game has a soul like combat, I'd give it a shot.
Why is everyone complaining about souls like? Y'all act like a new one comes out once a month but can devote countless hours into fortnite or apex, or call of duty. It don't make sense 😂 name 10 souls likes that came out within the last two years
Give the combat some gore (limbs flying, head cleaving, torso severing) and options for executing enemies and bosses at low health and/or under certain conditions with cool and varied animations, and I’ll 100% play this. Because so far it’s already solid, you guys nailed the atmosphere, visual effects, sound effects, ambience, story elements, protagonist design (but give him a holster of some kind for his weapons, like a shoulder strap maybe!), like that’s all there. Just need to give the combat that bit of extra OOMPH ^^
if you played dnf you know how this ends already but a really cool game nonetheless dnf/arad senki has alot of potential its the worlds biggest mmo afterall

@6:03... Look. He doesn't need a full-on scabbard or sheath. Just... give him a couple of leather straps or something! Maybe some type of leather holster-plate... or something to sheath his weapons in! So tired of the "magnetic back" way of holstering weapons in these games.

Both actually. Kazan is the original warrior who is responsible for infecting all the slayers with their demon arm. His spirit summon is the first you learn as a soul bender iirc.
As a souls-like fan i’m tired of these games. Maybe it’s time to make devil may cry-like, gow-like games. Putting a souls mechanic into the game and ignoring the rest seems like taking the easy way out. We want to see games like Darksiders or Arkham that are rich in content, have various variations, and are more immersive as you progress.

The mountain monkeys totally reminded me of Sekiro. Would have made more sense to have some type monster bird to fight off instead of monkeys.
