Those crab were properly soft shell crabs when they left Japan, but the shell gets harder day by day, you would be able to peel the shell off at this point because the shell has hardend up thats why there so crunchy
The ingredients were definitely good, but I wonder if adding just avocado to the existing ingredients would offset some of the hardness of chewing the shell. Just a thought.
I like to buy this snack from my Japanese grocery store called "tamago gani" ( 玉子ガニ)...I love it with beer because it goes well with the intense fishy flavor. I am wondering if these sawagani have the same strong fishy flavor as tamago gani snacks....
