How to: Fix a Leaking Osprey Hydraulics Reservoir/Bladder

This is a tutorial on how to fix a leaking Osprey reservoir.

BEFORE YOU TRY THIS:
- Remember that Osprey will repair any damage or defect for any reason free of charge. This is a fix in case you don't have the time to send them your product!
- Try at your own risk. This process worked for me but might not work for you!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- 10 - 20 minutes
- Pre-glued/glue-less Bike tube repair kit. Use a larger size patch for a larger hole (leave 10-15 mm around the hole in all directions.

Hi… can it be repair using Tear Aid type A?

Hi! The bladder is made out of TPU, a polyurethane. According to the Tear Aid type A recommendations, it should work. However, since I haven't tested myself, I can't say it will! Sorry.

My Osprey Bladder leaks from the bottom seal, so your method doesn't apply... any idea?

Dude, I'm really sorry but I have no idea how you could fix a tear on the edges... If you can, just contact Osprey. They will either repair or replace it for free. It's their policy.
