I hope these Premiere Pro 4k export settings help take your videos to the next level. If you have any questions let me know!
I cant select the 3840x2160 width and height, therefore i cant export 4K :(
Why won't it let you select the width and height?
@@OfficialTylerWhite I really don't know why but can you make a video on how to prevent editing lag, because I have a Macbook Air (the old one) Its laggy to edit on Premiere! Thanks for your help anyways!! :)
Hey, I used these settings and my video on my computer has 4k in the details in properties; but when I upload to youtube It only uploads at 1080p, even after waiting a day or so. Have you had this problem?
Brandon Fields I have not, was the footage shot at 4K?
THIS IS IT!! THIS IS THE ONE. Thank you for sharing these export settings. Finally got my video on IG to look super crispy and pleasing to look at!
Glad this could help!!
A 5 minute spot on video without any filler - yeah you just gained a sub, thank you
Thank you so much!
Very helpful! Thank you so much! This video walks me through the entire process, when I first uploaded my video to youtube, it was in 480p but now it's in 4k, just like I wanted it. You have been so helpful, thank you so much!
Also I thank you SO MUCH for telling me how to save the preset so you can save time!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT, that really helped!
Awesome video! Loved it! :)
Adrian Marin thank you my friend! I’m glad this could help!!
All my blacks were getting... crunchy on export and following your tutorial made the blacks smooth like they were in my preview files. HUGE thank you!!!
Glad I could help my friend, thank you!!
Nice video! If you have a dedicated GPU (2060 Max Q) with i9, would it be better and have higher quality with hardware encoding? Also, why not do 6.2 instead of 5.2 and high10 vs high? I'm looking for maximum quality. Thanks!
Good stuff man! Was having some issues with my videos and they looked awful for 4k, was using VBR... did not look good. But after copying your settings the video looks WAY better! Thank you so much
Thank you my friend, I’m glad this could help!
Great video dude! Good information as well I see people asking about this all the time. Now I can share your video :)
Packed Review thank you so much my friend!
Any recommendations for the best fps for 4K video for video on a tripod?
i haven't edited videos in 10 years, i just got a gopro9 and this program. you are basically my teacher now for this program haha
Lol I’m honored, thank you!
@@OfficialTylerWhite I am currently uploading a raw video right now to my channel with your settings with the 4k 60 fps option from the camera.
nice tutorial. Curious, how do you I get the H.265 (HVEC) codec to show up in adobe premiere? I'd like to export directly to that...
Very helpful, quick and clear explanation! Thank you!
Thank you!
Hey, in Encoding Settings, why you used Profile High and not High10 and Level to 5.2, when there is more options like 6.2? What these options do?
Thanks so much for your help, Tyler! I really appreciate it :)
Thank you my friend! I'm glad this could help!!
Thanks man! Testing out my first 4k export right now.
Thank you my friend!
So my CBR can go all the way up to 300. Does this make a difference between 100-300?
THANK YOU! Just what I needed in a hurry!
Thank you!
there is an export setting for youtube 4K is that one any better that H.264? can u explain the difference?
We love em tutorials with no fillers! thank you

Thank you!
Hey Tyler! Cool Intro - simple, short and sharp. Perfect hook ;-) Still struggeling with my best export settings for the GoPro Hero 8 😅 Thanks for your vid. Thumbs up :)
And yeah, I don't understand why people don't choose CBR as a constant bitrate for. Saves so much time and you only have to look for the HQ footage...
Omg thank you so much!!! I have been doing my videos wrong all this time! I just started too!!!! 😢 you are amazing
Glad this could help, thank you!
I just go Premiere pro-2020 and I wanted "Amazing Quality" so I was like oh yeah Tyler White will help me out so I came back from the 2018 version!

Hi There.. thanks, your video made my job easy.
Glad this could help, thank you so much!
I shot my music video at 29.97 fps 4k I exported my videos and it came out lagging after export but plays fine within premiere pro now I'm trying to change my sequence settings to 23.976 fps I'm going insane help
Hey, Tyler. Thanks for this great video. Quick question (I apologize if you covered this and I missed it) when you set the bitrate encoding to CBR, you suggested to set the target bitrate to 100. What do you set the maximum bitrate to?
Thanks for your time and I hope you have a great day.
Inside of Premiere when you export with the bitrate encoding of "CBR" you only have to input a target bitrate. "CBR" encoding doesn't ask for a maximum bitrate like "VBR, 1 pass" and "VBR, 2 pass" do. I hope this helps my friend!
Tyler White Thanks, Tyler. Have a great day, my friend.
Thank you sir!
Thank you!
Красавчик молодец, максимально точно и понятно.
БЛАГОДАРЮ!
This was so helpful! Got thrown a video project at work (even though I've never even touched a video editing software), and this made the export process SO much easier!
Thank you! I’m glad this could help my friend!
Fast like a pro thanku bro 💕💞💞
This is perfect for when I want to take video on my vacations. Thanks so much Tyler!
Thank you Cindy!
EXTREMELY helpful!! thank you so much!!
Thank you so much!!
Hey Tyler, thanks for the tip. Figured I'd say how long it took to export, upload, and wait for YT to finish making it HD. Close to 12 hours or so total for a 4 gig file. Turned out great though.
Glad it turned out great my friend!
thank you very much for the tip
Thank you!
Thank you man I was wondering how to do this!
Glad this could help my friend, thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you!!
Excellent Thanks

How to export mkv format in premiere pro 2022
Awesome video thanks a lot! Now I have two questions, 1st what the difference between Adobe Media Encoder vs premiere pro when it comes to export? I use h264 4k 80mbps in media encoder and secondly, what happens in the CBR section instead of setting it up to 100 i replace it for 900? Would it make a difference in quality or is it 100 the top quality? Thanks
Adobe Media Encoder is a program used to compress audio and/or video files. When exporting at 4K the highest CBR "Target Bitrate" is going to be 300. If you're uploading videos to UA-cam I think exporting at 300 would be over the top. It really just depends on what you're going to do with the video and how much that platform is going to compress your video.
Really helpful ❤
glad this could help, thank you!
Great tutorial, I really need this, thanks
bakaba channel thank you so much!
Great video man! Does this also allow you to merge 4k clips that always get split when filming with a gopro?
Hi Tyler,
Thank you for posting this video. I'm able to export my 4k video at 60 fps however the estimated file size is not the same post exporting. It is on the higher side. Do you think it's because of the exporting setting or should I check on the sequence setting? Please advice.
Thanks
It shouldn't be your sequence settings. How much bigger is the file size after being exported? The "Estimated File Size" that Premiere shows us is just an estimate based on the settings you've selected for export. I would try dialing down the bitrate settings a little to help bring down your file size. I hope this helps my friend!
its the bitrate. 100 is massive. the higher you put the bitrate at the higher your file size will be. youtube says for 4k something like 50 should be okay.
Thank you so much for doing a short, concise video. So sick of 10+ min tutorials
Thank you, glad this could help!
Hello there.
Great video and thanks for the tips. I’ve used these settings to export my video but when I upload to UA-cam the highest definition is 1080. I’ve waited almost a day for the HD processing to finish and even then the video isn’t 4K it’s still stuck at 1080 HD.
Any tips for that?
Thank you again!
How long is your video? If you’re uploading a really long video it’s going to UA-cam longer to process the full HD. I recommend you keep the video unlisted until the video is fully processed
Nice settings and very well executed tutorials and tips. All the best.
Thank you so much!
This video helped me a ton! I'm uploading 4k NBA 2k videos and had no idea how to use premiere! Thanks! 👊🏾👊🏾
glad I could help my friend!
Hey man, the quality of your 4K NBA videos is stunning! what format are u recording from PS5 before doing Tyler's process ? WebM or MP4? because i am struggling with the WebM format in Premiere Pro
@@highestintharoom9613 I haven't done them in a while, but yes, they're WebM format. I had to donwload a plugin to be able to use it in premiere if I remember correctly
Thanks so much for this♥️
Thank you my friend!
Perfect thank you 👏
Thank you!
and what video codec did u use?
thankyou man
Thank you!
Thankyou saved heaps of time!
Thank you!
Thanks dude

Thanks man you are great
Thank you!
Thank you.
Thank you my friend!
Man You are amazing 💖
Thank you so much!
So we need to get 4k vidoe too?
thank u babe
So the best quality for youtube is CBR with 100?
Thanks so much for this tutorial. This coming from another UA-camr.
Thank you so much!
thank u from brazil. u help me a lot
Thank you, glad I could help my friend!
Tyler I set Perfomance to "Hardware Encoding" because with Software Encoding it takes 4x longer time to exporting in my computer. But the problem is that with "Hardware Encoding" and Bitrate Encoding set to CBR (100) the exported file has less bitrate, resulting in a very small file and smaller than the estimated file. This issue I didn't have in Adobe Premiere Pro 2018. Thanks.
Hardware Encoding can be a life saver it just all depends on what you’re doing to do with the final product. If uploading to UA-cam I will usually sacrifice the file size and longer render time for the higher bit rate so that my quality isn’t as reduced when my video is uploaded to UA-cam
youre a life saver men huhue
xDrake 010 thank you my friend!
thank you
Thank you!!
Im only using mobile how can i do that ?
Little tip that I just took way too long trying to figure out: If it is giving you an error message when trying to adjust the width & height, adjust the encoding settings to what he says FIRST (software encoding, high profile, 5.2 level), and then it should automatically set the setting for you.
Thanks for the tip!
thanks!
Thank you!
Hey man can i select the High10 in profile settings and check rec.2020,HDR,include hdr10 metadata below it ?..Does it improve my video quality ??
You could do this my friend but those settings are for exporting 4K HDR.
tnk you
Thank you!

Thank you!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS , I RECORD MY GAMEPLAYS ON 2160P 4K AND I WANTE TO UPLOAD THE GAMPLAY AT SAME QUALITY ON UA-cam. DOES THIS SETTING WORK FOR IT? OR SHOULD I GO FOR ADOBE'S 2160P (UA-cam) PRESET?
Yes this will work my friend
Thanks ...👍
Thank you!
For some reason when i try to export it the vid turns black
Does anyone know why when I try to export my video to youtube from premiere pro after its supposed to be "done"it says that an error has occurred and that I have invalid credentials
This happens from time to time when editing in Premiere. There are a couple of different options you have when trying to fix this. If you have Adobe Media Encoder you can try to export that way. If not here is a link that will help you solve the problem ua-cam.com/video/NUHrJb8kFLo/v-deo.html
Hello . Thank you for the video. When I set it to 3840, premier auto set it to 2160 and I can’t change it . Is that still ok ?
Yes it should come out as 3840 x 2160
´d be cool if yuo explain why you chose those those numbers
Can u make a video about how to export 4k60fps video
where do i find custum
What bitrate settings do you use to export regular 1080p? It would not still be 100, correct?
Edit: Nevermind, I just watched your previous video in December. In case anyone is curious, for regular HD, he says that 15 and 40 should be used if you want to do VBR 2 pass, and 40 for CBR.
kizzmysass glad that could help my friend!
This won't work with certain codecs, especially for 4K 10-bit 4:2:2 where you'll need to push it to 240MB.
Subbed.. Thanks
BHsoFunny thank you my friend!
I have seen a lot of people talk about how using VBR 2 pass for 4k UA-cam uploads is the way to go. I have always used CBR 100. Truly what would you reccomend now in 2021?
I use CBR 100 but in 2021 if you are going to use VBR 2 I would double the number that Premiere automatically recommends. For example when you select VBR 2 pass and the number is 40 change it to 80 and that will look good too.
Thanks so much. My rendering time cut down by 100% too oddly enough..?
Thank you!
I have cam to this video 4 times so far for all 4 videos lol!
Preset is finally saved
Lol thanks for watching my friend!
@@OfficialTylerWhite of course! Thanks for the response!
What if I make the level 6.2
Is it true that the larger the file, the more youtube compresses it so you should only max at like 68mbps?
I haven’t ever heard or seen that but I always increase my bitrate so that when my video is compressed it still uploads at a high quality. When I increase my bitrate the file size increases as well so I don’t see how the file size could affect the quality on UA-cam
I want to know what the problem after render the video 4K in premier not working in my computer?
The file could be very large and your computer isn’t able to play it back. Have you tried uploading the video to UA-cam?
Should I use h.264 or h.265 to render in 4k 60 fps ? Which one would have better quality once uploaded to youtube or which one will youtube compress less ?
h.264
Amazing
Thank you!
