The only legend I see here is Rele for handling this interview so professionally.
I feel like Relebogile would be great as a therapist coz she’s great at probing. As a tv host she’s limited coz she can’t make certain comments but she has the potential to help people get healed emotionally by getting them to be honest with themselves

My take away from this episode: I must be a better mother so that I don't traumatise my daughter with my actions and make her build such high walls.
This lady is being so hostile! It’s like she’s used to being judged so she puts up walls & becomes defensive. I’ve seen this behavior a lot from the lgbtqi community & that’s because of the way they’ve been treated. Relebogile is Gracious, warm & accommodating as usual. Personally I love different people because that is bravery to me ❤️.
Yeah its actually quite sad, and as a result I feel like she didn't really open up or took us to that place where we actually got to know the 'real' her if that makes sense.
I feel like this could have been such a beautiful interview for us to actually get into her state of mind as to what led to her changing her looks.
She's trying so hard to be strong and unbothered about things that under normal circumstances would be regarded as painful experiences by most people.
On the other hand I kind of understand how difficult it is to really open up and risk being seen as weak or have people use your vulnerability against you.
Lasty she made this interview so difficult and thank goodness Relebogile was so gracious and patient, she really didn't open up which is confusing to me as to why she agreed to come to the show if she's not willing to 'UNPACK'.

She didn't want to share her vulnerability as a "perfect person" so she was just defensive! She put out her defense tools-the aggression, denial, and arrogance! Which are showing like hostility towards Relebogile!

Great interview, I love the skill of just letting someone just talk and reveal themselves. It’s apparent that this woman is broken and using a gregarious personality to hide low self esteem. So much grace, remaining composed while interacting with a raging narcissist who thought her sense of self was threatened but this is unpacked- a show that unpacks issues!
She might sound lost to us but she is true to herself and I admire the fact that she is a business woman . I'm glad she doesn't put her husband first because that's the mistake that most women do an end up broken .

Wow, 🥺 Relebogile ❤️❤️ You are a really great interviewer! This woman is so hurt, she is so broken to a point where she can only be defensive to communicate anything! You handled this like a therapist trying to unpack with such grace and empathy. While she is stuck in denial about her past, she self hates, very grandiose, she is pre-occupied with a fantasy of unlimited " plastic beauty", an overbearing sense of not needing understanding from others, and a lot of arrogance on top of it all !! Not to judge her, I noted all these behaviors during the interview! I love that she is unapologetically herself, but I hope she seeks therapy after this session. From her behavior, she probably won't because she is consumed with being a "LEGEND". Keep up the good work Relebogile, this is a great show!

I think she's trying to act strong and it's not working out. She's an empty soul.

She raises a very good point about how we are raised. Children been seen and not heard-toxic parenting
I kinda subscribe to that actually, parents nowadays are regressing because they think they are raising kids to speak their minds when actually they are raising little terrors and monsters. Kids these days are a product of parents who think indulging their kids is good parenting. Kids should be seen yes and not heard, but that's not to oppress them, just teach them to respect authority, their parents etc. They are spoilt, rude, demanding, disrespectful etc so yes kids should know their place. Period.
@@banyana6515 Especially at a young age. Because after age 7 the child already have a system in place the moment a child start to gain their independence in thinking the teaching style has to change. There is a problem when a parent teach a 12 Year old like a 5 Year old. As parents there is so much for us to learn how to teach. I'm not speaking about 15/16 Year old they should be in their way of testing life as a parent you should be done with them because it on 2 or 3 years away from their doing decisions of their own. In a new Province away from you, what kind of friends is she or he gonna choose if she or he was away from home. Parents underestimate time. Parents unstable relationship life also contribute a lot. It time for us to remove berries of marriage let us encourage marriage, mybe it can solve this absent parents we condone today.

@banyana6515 I disagree. Children seen and not heard is definitely toxic and has resulted in a lot of problems in society and I'm sure some pathological disorders too. Giving children a voice doesn't mean they must trample all over you as a parent and do as they wish. One must find creative ways to strike a balance but if you insist on children respecting people simply because of their authority then we create problems and open them up to abuse from some adults who may have not so obvious mental issues, like narcissism.

I see a lot of judgment on these posts and it's like maybe the behaviour you are seeing her display is a by product of living in a judgmental world. Human beings are so interesting! When we try really really hard to mask pain and trauma, we tend to do outrageous things and believe that people buy it. (Almost like how a really insecure person is always telling people how confident they are). It never works, and when you continuously try to drive the narrative about yourself - it's because you don't believe it. She keeps saying she is a legend, she keeps wanting to be 'special'. -It's because she doesn't actually believe she is. I think we can all learn from this. There is so much trauma that she is physically wearing. Literally. Also, shoutout to Relebogile for scooping to her level. I saw that "I'm your friend/ not here to attack you" strategy. Although her walls are way up there and she is hard to get through. Rele did her best!

On a serious note though, this lady needs to heal her inner-child. There are so many layers of trauma, shame and resentment that she needs to heal from. She herself said she didn’t know what love is before the birth of her child.
Can I also mention (own opinion) that communication is a bit of an issue here, I don’t think she comprehends whats being asked and in instances were she does comprehend… it’s articulating the answers.

I disagree. Marriage is not prostitution. It is a cultural institution that some believe in. And lobola is also a cultural thing for certain communities. I married my husband out of love. And after 3 years we all going strong. And i am a professional whose parents did certainly not pimped me.
There's so much sadness and rage within this lady. She's blocking her past like it never happened. She's so defensive and rebellious. I feel her hurt, I wish her some healing. This was the most uncomfortable conversation Lebo has had so far. I felt uncomfortable too watching this.
I once read somewhere that an oppressive and narcissistic childhood sometimes manifests itself as self hatred and rebellion.
Imagine telling your child "you're born to die"is it not traumatic to a child,so the chain of trauma will carry on with her son???
I love her! I think people only see hurt but I think her healing made her so brave and honest. Most people expected pretensions sentimental answers.

I think ordinarily, a person would have said something callous like, “That’s what people NORMALLY do,” or “That’s what MOST people do.” I just really appreciate that even in such a small moment, sis Relebogile tries to create a space that is truly welcoming, not one where guests are viewed as a deviation to “the norm”. I think that’s what makes her interviews so powerful for me - how she treats people’s stories as completely valid (unpatronisingly), but also without being afraid to ask necessary difficult questions that allow the story to be told with its true depth and complexity.
Also yohhh you were so calm even when she was being rude or misunderstood you 🙌🙌…..

This is sad (at least for me). Well...when I look at her I see someone who is still living her life trying to prove something to someone. It's like a teenager trying to find her own identity. I feel like she didn't have a normal (good) childhood, where she didn't receive love and attention. May she return back to herself.

When the interview ended at 33mins and no part 2, I was like thank God. If this is Legendary, then I don’t want it. I genuinely pray for her healing and that she sees her brokenness sooner than later.
She is different and she thinks different.... And to someone else it might not make sense bcs we were programed to live our lives a certain way....
I respect her for that..and to those who keep on saying she is escaping from her past..
If ur past memories hurt u why should u revisit them, why would u want tp revisit something that causes so much pain to u... Sometimes we deny ourselves the opportunity to be happy by being stuck in the past... And there is nothing wrong with leaving painful memories behind..
In her case "leaving the past in the past" has left her trying to put bandages on cracks her whole life. She's literally built a wall around herself, a wall so high that even someone as warm and welcoming as ausi Rele wasn't able to get through just to have an open conversation with her.

this is a result of unhealed trauma, having a nonchalant way of life but choosing to tag yourself as assertive screams of tons of hurt that is covered. s/o to Rele for being able to sit through what seems to be many uncomfortable conversations.
I disagree. been assertive is a sign of been healed, lacking boundaries is a sign of not been healed and psychology supports that
