Lydia was sentenced to death unjustly! there were 2 videos presented to us when this video was posted (though it was more than a year ago now), but both of them contain the truth of Lydia's innocence! the first video that was presented was Lydia making a wide swing, and clipping the head of our dear protagonist. however, i can say with certainty that Lydia did not intend for it to hit us, simply because, when she started her attack, we weren't close enough! in the window where she started and ended her swing at an enemy that is briefly visible in the bottom left hand corner, chat used the whirlwind sprint shout, and therefore got us close enough for Lydia to accidentally strike us. Therefore, in account of the first piece of evidence, it was an unintentional murder, legally recognized as Involuntary Manslaughter. The second video showed us our protagonist, butt up against a wall, as Lydia performs a shield bash strike, which strikes our player. however, there are some fundamental elements of this video that we must take into account: A: The hallway that Lydia was facing was blocked from our view by a corner, it could have been a simple path, but it was probably an intersection, judging by point B B: to perform a shield bash, a character must first block with their weapon, before striking. seeing as it is a move meant to stagger opponents mid-charge attack, it is reasonable to classify it as a defensive move, and unfit of being used to execute the player. C: Skyrim hit boxes are notorious for being janky, at best. considering the situation that Doug placed himself in, its completely within expectation that Lydia, trying to strike an enemy, would accidentally strike the player And so, while its still entirely possible that Lydia did indeed strike Doug with intent to kill, the reasoning i have provided proves that there is cause for a reasonable doubt, and therefore, Lydia's true verdict is Involuntary Manslaughter. and for this lapse of the jury, i ask Doug to commemorate Lydia, in a way that would honor her, and raise her valor to the heavens where she resides EDIT: so i didnt watch the full video and i see shes alive now. i wasted a lot of time EDIT 2: didnt watch the full video again, my case still stands!
I'm actually pretty certain that in both cases, chat were killed by enemies off-screen, and Lydia happened to be mid-attack at the same time. In the first case, a side-swipe like that doesn't connect with any hitboxes, the attack is sent out as a ray in the direction the character is facing when executing the attack, not as a wide-arc of possible hit locations. In the second case, it is clear that there is an enemy nearby from the red dot on the compass. It's also clear that Lydia was, in fact, NOT in the middle of a blocking stagger attack, as at the moment chat died, she was still raising her weapon to initiate the block. In both cases, it appears chat were killed by a draugr or frostbite spider as both of these can have ranged attacks. Lydia is innocent and was wrongly convicted of two counts of murder she did not commit.
The body cams showing Lydia committing the “crime” shows no enemy because it’s turned because twitch chat was trying to convict her of murder and cover it up
Twitch chat is a group and isn’t good at controlling a camera. Just look at how hard it is to play Skyrim with voice controls. Can you imagine that except with a 1000 or so people trying to manipulate a digital meat puppet?
@@DraedonTheInventor what point is there to arguing over whether or not she did it, when we know she did twice. How can you tell there really was. When you die it loads the most recent save, and the events that lead to your death are non-canon. This means that while Faendal and Lydia did kill you, these events were overwritten by loading back to the last save.
My argument: We have the ability to look back into alternate timelines and view these actions as it they've happened. Are we theoretically above this fact of Cannon vs non cannon, or does the convicted's ignorance of this fact make our transcendence invalid? Edit:... and therefore are they innocent?
@@jonnyofalltrades6620 I would say they are not innocent, assuming the murder was premeditated. You dont just commit the perfect murder out of nowhere, believe me. Lydia only killed twitch chat and never killed Doug Doug. The reason she did this is because twitch chat is not human but instead multiple people which is a foreign concept to Lydia who lives in a medieval time period. Therefore, it can only be assumed that she thought Doug Doug was being controlled by witchcraft and was trying to save him by killing him. Also, you can not argue that she did it a second time making her more guilty because after the first “murder”, Doug Doug came back into playing as the main character confirming her believes that Doug Doug was controlled by an alien concept aka twitch chat. So in summary, Lydia is innocent and Doug Doug/Twitch chat murdered an innocent person. Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great rest of your day.
Objection, even if the concept was foreign to lydia murder is still murder! even then, this is not medieval times, this is skyrim where spell casters are common. so even if doug doug was being controlled by witchcraft it's still a murder!
@@jakethebeest2376 Skyrim is set in a kind of fantasy medival timeline so that kinda makes no sense
Yes, but she thought it was a human, she didn’t know it was many just people online her intentions where evil, she is a attempted murder
Ok
I have a new piece of evidence that nobody has been talking about, Faendal was observed shooting Doug with an arrow in the back and killing him where he stands... BUT WHAT WAS DOUG DOING!? Doug was seen killing a man by his not even owned follower, he was not even paid, Doug did not display any reason why he should be allowed to be commandingly telling an innocent man what too do! Faendal was ok with killing bandits and wolves as he knew that they must pay for their sins but was probably shaken by it, when Faendal saw Doug killing a man asking no BEGGING TOO BE SAVED BEING BURNED ALIVE... he knew what he had too do... and now, Doug is taking the title of a hero, Doug... IS A MURDERER! That is all, your honor
The second video showed us our protagonist, butt up against a wall, as Lydia performs a shield bash strike, which strikes our player. however, there are some fundamental elements of this video that we must take into account:
A: The hallway that Lydia was facing was blocked from our view by a corner, it could have been a simple path, but it was probably an intersection, judging by point B
B: to perform a shield bash, a character must first block with their weapon, before striking. seeing as it is a move meant to stagger opponents mid-charge attack, it is reasonable to classify it as a defensive move, and unfit of being used to execute the player.
C: Skyrim hit boxes are notorious for being janky, at best. considering the situation that Doug placed himself in, its completely within expectation that Lydia, trying to strike an enemy, would accidentally strike the player
And so, while its still entirely possible that Lydia did indeed strike Doug with intent to kill, the reasoning i have provided proves that there is cause for a reasonable doubt, and therefore, Lydia's true verdict is Involuntary Manslaughter. and for this lapse of the jury, i ask Doug to commemorate Lydia, in a way that would honor her, and raise her valor to the heavens where she resides
EDIT: so i didnt watch the full video and i see shes alive now. i wasted a lot of time
EDIT 2: didnt watch the full video again, my case still stands!
I love how these challenges are almost everytime just a background for all this gold content and little stories that write themselves on streams
@@ironwraith852 it's a joke. And you missed it.

When you die it loads the most recent save, and the events that lead to your death are non-canon. This means that while Faendal and Lydia did kill you, these events were overwritten by loading back to the last save.
O fuck
doomed timelines in homseytuck haha im so funny
My argument:
We have the ability to look back into alternate timelines and view these actions as it they've happened. Are we theoretically above this fact of Cannon vs non cannon, or does the convicted's ignorance of this fact make our transcendence invalid?
Edit:... and therefore are they innocent?
Two words : Minority Report
@@jonnyofalltrades6620 I would say they are not innocent, assuming the murder was premeditated. You dont just commit the perfect murder out of nowhere, believe me. These things take time, planning.... unless these acts truly were accidental, Doug's abilities are simply saving himself from being murdered.
ya know, I found DougDoug not 2 weeks ago, but along with laughing my butt off from his content, his dedication to having his fans be included, and his dedication to bits its unparalleled, letting them play the game when he's away like you let your little sibling play when you go do something. She was innocent! In the first "kill", we whirlwind sprinted into her hammer, and for the second "kill", she was blocking when you died. She's innocent!
Also with 1hp a small tap is lethal
Plus you could hear that a trap was activated the second time so the cause of death was an arrow and Lydia failed to protect them
adn on the one she wasnt blocking for you could barely see movement on the left of the screen before chat got killed. So there is something lydia was swinging at.

I demand a retrial!! The jury was also the defendant in case 2. Therefore, the murder of Twitch Chat should have been mediated by a 3rd party and not members of the jury.
