@@PJ-nh2dc what's the hardest thing u can play or do u just play normal songs u like also I'm on my 5 th day and I've learnt a song but now I'm not to sure what should I practice do u have any tips?
Love the way you talk and explain things using your hands (i think i learn faster that way because it sinks in and I'm I visual learner,) I also love the lesson ideas it always seems to be a good point of view to learn and practice things from! Thanks LIsa!
I watched this 2 months ago, and I couldn't coordinate the two hands. But with perseverence, Lisa's lessons are becoming doable now. I can't thank her enough for always being so positive and helpful. Merci beaucoup.
I just love the way you tutor. You know your stuff... you've got great vocals...very relaxed and confident and very encouraging. Thanks so much for sharing your piano skills. I learned to read and play the piano the old fashioned 70s style... ....now over 50 I'm challenging myself to understand the dynamics without the sheet and I've learned sooooo much from you and your team. Thanks again. 🇯🇲
I’m a professional accompanist and high level sheet music reader turned dueling piano player. I struggle with not having things notated so I very much appreciate you including the notation of the rhythm patterns! Thank you for your amazing tutorials.
Apply this to G D Em F C and you've got a good start on the intro to Freebird. Just put F# in the bass instead of D on the first D. I've heard criticisms of Pianote for using the 'Let It Be' chords too frequently, but what I like about this is that I can more easily learn a new approach on chords I already know, and then experiment on my own time with applying that approach to other songs. Ultimate Guitar online is a great resource for grabbing some chords and lyrics to your favorite songs, especially if you like to play and sing as opposed to plunking out the melody with the right hand. Couple that with listening to the original recording for nuance and embellish or not with things you learn from Pianote or elsewhere. Challenging but really fun as it starts to come together!
I have been so hesitant to practice up to this point, but I have actually practiced over 1 hour just today! I have no idea how you do it but I really enjoy practicing and have seen improvement in a much shorter period of time then I expected. Thank you pianote.
I loved the 4'th pattern...i hear these kinds of patterns in my head all that time and when you started playing that pattern it totally gave me goose bumps. Thank you so much
People standing on the fence to learn piano music will leap into the sea of music enjoyably if you have Lisa as your coach . Really a good mentor and teacher . Warm regards and best wishes to her .
Exactly what I am looking for. Thank you so much for this tutorial. Yes, you are right if this rhythm is added into the usual piano accompaniment, the sound is more beautiful.
Very nice pattern... very versatile... I advise people to **write** down the notes and chords first on the paper... study the piece first on the paper, then on the keyboard; and notice the difference it makes!
You had me when you said "don't focus on the sheet music" - I don't read music well as i'm too lazy, and i've just been teaching myself how to play, bashing out chords. This is exactly what I was looking for - to still play a chord on the right and root on the left but to vary the rhythm. Left to my own devices I usually end up playing a sort of bossanova rhythm between the two hands, which is weird.
Your videos are so good! I don't feel like a beginner at all. I've watched many videos since I started learning to play piano, but I very few of them-like yours- properly break down lessons into small chunks.
Love your channel , I’ve been wanting to learn and actually know what I’m doing lol a lot of that stuff I think I can do now but I don’t have a keyboard to try lol
These rhythms were much easier than the ones in your video that you did with Dave. I especially liked the arpeggio exercise since I haven't worked with them very much. You are able to get a much better overall sound out of the exercises than I, it seemed like a better balance between the two parts (or hands). Thanks for the exercise.
The third one was cool. Other two were like sort of ok, but, nonetheless I enjoyed 'em on piano. Anyway, I would like you to do some eighth note kind of piano Rhythm. The current video had some of it. I need more of eight note piano Rhythm patterns. Thank you pianote.
thanks for all your video teaching. Love your pace of teaching. It's easy to learn. Could you do an easy syncopated rhythm training on the piano. Something that would help to apply to the cha cha.
Really great. I will try this. Reminds me of the 4 chord songs video, axis of awesome... She will be loved Paparazzi More than a bird, more than a plane... And many more! Love your variations. Really excited about this
Thanks Lisa for the three great patterns to wake up my left hand. On a different note, no constructive criticisms from me about any of your peccadilloes. 😜 People sure make me laugh when they are bothered by something that is constructive and a person that is as sweet as they can be. Hope you are well, Lisa.
Thank you! I love the second one. I'm using your tips to warm up before practicing pieces every day. They are really useful!. I love the chord progression of the outro a lot! Could you share it? :D
Thank you so much for these amazing videos, they are really educational and helpful. When I watch them I can’t help but open the piano and practice, you really encourage me😅💕
Absolutely love your channel! I am hoping to get to a point where I can take chord charts for any song and fill in my own rhythms and beautiful fillers. From your various videos I get what I need to do conceptually, but I am wondering if you have any tips on a set of training routing (from beginner to advanced) I should follow to optimize my growth as a pianist?
I'd recommend introducing yourself to inversions as soon as possible. Jumping from root position to root position while easier to understand is actually a lot harder since you are making bigger moves and every finger moves.
Which one is your favorite?

When you play it faster, it makes so much sense. So playful!
As 20+ year guitar player who's picking up piano, this was by FAR the best lesson I've seen to date!
You make me want to stop whatever I’m doing to go practice!

This is exactly what I've been after. Please do some more LH rhythms. Please, please, please :-)

That first rhythm was used in the piano in "Skyfall" by Adele (except for the last measure where it uses two dotted eighth notes).
You are the best teacher I've ever seen. thankyou so much 👍❤
I loved the 4'th pattern...i hear these kinds of patterns in my head all that time and when you started playing that pattern it totally gave me goose bumps. Thank you so much
Best online lesson of all time.👍👍👍👍
Thanks so much for the written download. For me, having that helped enormously. Again, thanks.
So many piano tutorials on UA-cam. This one is one of the best and most useful.
Such a good teacher! I love her videos.

I just love the fact you have the same metronome that I had when I started learning to play 40 years ago
It's more of an ornament than a proper metronome now haha!
Very nice pattern... very versatile... I advise people to **write** down the notes and chords first on the paper... study the piece first on the paper, then on the keyboard; and notice the difference it makes!
The third pattern sounds so beautiful. Another one to learn. Thanks Lisa!!
I learned the 1st pattern from the piano for all pack they called it the half beat bounce, so far it’s my favorite.
Appreciate that you put the notes at the bottom. Please do put in other videos. It is helpful.
Thank you so much mam. I love your classes and I watch your every video. Your classes really helps all of us. Many many thanks.
Beautiful presentation; well organized, pleasantly presented, well communicated. PRICELESS!

Most awaited episode 😍
Now in my 70ties, learning to play lighter and veer away from only strict classical - thank you!!!
Thank you so very much Ms. Lisa I always enjoy your lessons and thank you for the lead sheet !! Teddy Korbos !!

Also this helped me a lot with hand independence and you can transfer this to any key
It is always an awesome time learning on this channel. I am having a slight problem with hand Independency. This video is helpful.

Thank you so much for these lessons. You make it so easy to understand. It’s so appreciated
Love your channel , I’ve been wanting to learn and actually know what I’m doing lol a lot of that stuff I think I can do now but I don’t have a keyboard to try lol
I learned how to play piano in 2 days because of you!! Thank you so much! There’s still so much for me to learn, and you make it a lot easier !
Thanks so much for your lessons!
Your videos make me smile because you're so bubbly and happy! 😊 The content is absolutely great aswell!
Thanks for this. Rhythm should be taught more at the learning music "ABCs" level. This helps me do something about my boring left hand while playing.
It is definitely a great exercise for hand coordination as well as getting used to chords!
You are the best piano teacher out there!
Hello, Lisa. More of these please ❤!
Thank you I love this way to practice.
You have half a million subscribers, and I"m not surprised. This is a great channel.

Nice, simple and very helpful. I like the third pattern, but all are great.

This is great. Lots of fun!
Thanks Lisa for the three great patterns to wake up my left hand.

I do love arpeggios!!! 🔥🔥
just brilliant ...could you do a follow up video extending on each pattern ?
Great thanks for this video I always struggle with knowing how to play with my left hand x
The last rhythm was so beautiful! Loved this video! ❤️
Thank you for these styles

love your energy as always.
Thank you, that was very helpful
So helpful! I would love to see more of these rhythm patterns, as I tend to get stuck in a rut using just one or two.

Slow, count, metronome.
Use Camtronome to video yourself while you 'noming.
Oh, and don't metronome angry.
This channel should be standard curriculum for any music student.
I love her, she is just to cool
You are my Favorite. Thanks for the lesson.
thanx love you Pianote
Thank you so much for that amazing way of playing:
It's funny how 3rd one sound kinda emotional and moody (not exactly sad) in slow tempo and more hopeful and cheerful when you play it faster.
Beautiful! The last one is amazing!
Great concise lesson. Thank you.
More videos like this, please. Thank you.
Awesome!
I sense I will come back to this video a lot.
