Donna is correct, the audience are all singers (they all speak Dutch), one presenter and seven guests. This show "Beste Zangers" they have seven episodes where six singers sing a song that is important to the life and/or career of the seventh. This is recorded on a Spanish island over a period of a couple of weeks where they are isolated from friends and family. The idea is to build a chamaraderie between the group, which certainly happened in this series. This is from the season finale where all the guests do two duets. Floor picked Henk to do Phantom Of The Opera to duet with as he became here idol when she saw him preform in Phantom Of The Opera on stage when she was young. Before the singers signed the contract for the show in this season (2019) I believe only Tim Akkerman (Ramones shirt) knew who Floor was as he is a rock singer, despite Floor being the highest selling Dutch artist at that time. All the other singers are from different genres, so were unlikely to come across Floor as she was in a Finnish band and living in Sweden. A few other Beste Zangers suggestions. Henk & Emma Heesters singing Vivo Per Lei from the same episode and Floor singing Vilja Lied to Henk in his episode. If you want something completely different, how about an opera singer rapping for the first time in her career? Maria Fiselier singing Lose Yourself in the 2018 series.
Floor called this performance on Dutch TV "magical" "a highpoint in her career (because she sang with THE Henk Poort, her idol)" and "an experience you only have a few times in your life". Henk never heard of Floor, as he is not a metal fan, but a musical theatre and opera singer. Especially to honour Floor, he learned how to sing with distortion for this show. Floor and Henk now collaborate regularly during Floor's solo concerts.
It's crazy to think that Jansen wasn't well know in her home before this show even when she already is very well known internationally and Poort then again was kind of an opposite of that.
Henk Poort is best known for opera and musical-theatre performances. He portrayed Erik (the Phantom) for 17 years. He's also performed as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables. Floor idolized him, and begged to perform this with him for the show. He agreed on the condition that he could sing it with her on stage during a Nightwish performance. The rest, as they say, is history. On other episodes of this show, Henk sang Josh Turner's "Your Man" and the Disturbed variant of "The Sound Of Silence", showing his own versatility. As far as what Floor can't sing...badly. Floor cannot sing badly.
Floor is a fan girl for Henk Poort. When she was very young, he was doing a bunch of musical theater and she loved what he was doing. Henk was the Dutch Phantom back when it was touring.
When the show started only one person had ever heard of FLOOR and what she could sing, no one else knew here, in fact at the time FLOOR was not even popular in her own country but now she is one of the most recognized singers in The Netherlands.

Donna is right. These are all Dutch singers performing songs for and even more importantly ! from each other. No competition, just having fun, very respectful, just lovely, good vibes all around. There's a Latin singer, (guy with open mouth) a pop singer (girl with long blond hair, well they are both blond so this won't help :) a rock singer (guy with Ramones shirt on) and two Dutch 'levenslied' singers (pfff how to translate that in English-ish (Dutch chanson-singers I guess) and of course Henk (our opera singer). And Floor does all their songs (with a bit of metal grit in it of course). She even sings Spanish and German (for the first time in her life) (and Dutch !). Best of wishes & greetings from the Low Countries (always remember, just one tiny Atlantic pond away (or maybe we should re-conquer New York again and give it its rightful name back ' New Amsterdam' , so you don't have to travel so far :)
Hello again, you three lovely ladies. This was another fantastic performance by Floor alongside Henk. There is a recent video of Floor performing this with Nightwish and with Henk making a guest appearance in the Netherlands which is also fantastic. Thank you for continuing to check out and react to more Nightwish and Floor live performances. Loved it.
The show takes 7 singers from different genres and put them together in a resort. In every episode one is placed central and the others sing for him/her a song that has a meaning, that can be an own song or something with a memory. Beside that stories are shared and it can become fun and very emotional. The last episode is the fun duet episode where each singer has to choose one of the others to do a duet where this song is one of them. Henk did sing the song the sound of silence for Floor.
This video was one of the Internet-breaking videos of 2019 (obviously for GREAT reason). I am surprised none of you heard about it before now... Oh, well. You know about it now! :) This was THE LAST performance of that night and the Finale to that entire season of Beste Zangers. That big thunder-crash at the beginning of the video was REAL thunder outside of the tent they were recording from; I think it fit the ambiance of the song perfectly and the timing could not have been any better. They were sitting in Ibiza, Spain, during the April storm season. At certain points in the video, rain can be seen coming into the tent. It can be said that Floor and Henk 'brought the house down' with this performance! :D
If you want to watch the Floor effect, then check out her singing “Vilja Lied” (Vilja’s Song) from the same series. Floor was first up to sing and nobody was expecting anything from the “screaming metal singer”. Boy, were they ever surprised 😅
This was the closing act for the 2019 season of Beste Zangers (Best Singers, of course). The cool thing about this season was that Floor was also the opening act that kicked it off and set the tone some eight weeks earlier. And all the other Dutch singers actually did NOT know Floor at all. You see, in the Netherlands, much like in the U.S., metal music is not widely liked and not considered "mainstream." So, before the first act, "Vilja Lied" an aria from the 19th Century German operetta, "The Merry Widow," they all appeared as though they did not take her seriously, looking with an attitude that I imagine may have been something like, "Oh look, how cute. A metal chick. What's she gonna do, growl for us?" And then she opened her mouth! Nobody doubted her ever again after that, and it was fun to watch how their attitudes and appreciation changed and grew as the weeks stretched on. The initial invitation to the show was intended to, perhaps, help Floor by giving her more exposure in her home market and increase her popularity. While that certainly did, in fact, happen, the reverse happened to an even greater degree: Floor's presence increased the exposure and popularity of the TV show to an audience much larger than the Netherlands, i.e., the whole world! For example, how many of us Americans would have ever even heard of, let alone start watching and giving free advertising plugs for, a little ole Dutch TV show? In addition, she stole the heart (in a professional sense) of the very famous Dutch opera legend Henk Poort, an "idol" of hers as a child, and convinced him to join her on a solo tour after the show. He agreed to do that if she, in turn, could guarantee him an invitation to appear on stage with Nightwish! And he agreed to learn how to modify his opera voice to do one verse in a metal growl at her request. And in addition to all these things, Floor managed to "steal" the TV show's session band (the Marcel Fisser Band) to be her band on the solo tour! Talk about turning the tables!
@@christianmohr1491 Yeah, I know Tim did. I believe his words were that he knew OF her a little bit but not really well. --> If my memory serves me correctly. Just trying to keep the explanation as simple and to-the-point as possible, mate. I have a tendency to go down rabbit holes myself in trying to exhaustively explain every little detail as accurately as I can... and then I lose my audience after creating a comment that is as long as Tolstoy's "War & Peace" when I should have cut a few corners and kept it to a few short paragraphs. 😏
I was able to watch this whole series on UA-cam before the benevolent overlords yanked it off. It was glorious! And no, these artists did not really know Floor since she wasn't really well known in her own country (Nightwish is Finnish and Floor is Dutch). They know her now!
Requested a LOOOOOOT! Now you know why! Henk was an inspiration for a teenage Floor, he was THE Phantom for The Netherlands. She enthusiastically accepted the invite to "Beste Zangers", when she heard he would also be a guest! The thunderclap at the beginning was real, they were in the middle of a storm, if you look to the left of the screen with a close up of Floor, you can see a stream of water from the roof. Notice the water feature has ripples? They made a fantastic connection together, promising to perform this on stage, with Nightwish...
this was reciorded just around lockdowns.. she was fangirling in this show that her Idol Henk Poort was there with her... at the end of the recordings the participants ask the others for a duet. Floor fangirling over Henk, didn't think twice to ask him to do Phantom with her. His replie was, oke, but when your band ( Nightwish) comes to Netherlands, we will do it aswell.. she said Yes.. and she put wheels organitorial in motion.. When Nightwish finally after the lockdowns ( pople including me, held on their tickets for over 2 years of bullshit) the consert remained sold out, no refunds where asked, they addd a second date..BAM !!! 15 minutes sold out, I think also because Henk would be on stage with Nithwish in both native country :D He did perform a third time doing Phantom with Nightwish at PinkPop the summer just before the Amsterdam shows would finally take place... for the first time in over 15 years Nightwish had played Phantom of The Opera live, all in Netherlands, with Floor and the official Andrew Lloy Weber Dutch Phantom, Henk Poort
It was recorded in early 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic started in October/November that same year in Wuhan, China, so no problem with lockdowns, that was for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
A couple of things about this cover, and I’ll say it’s a cover. The Phantom of the Opera is a Musical that was turned into a movie, but not just an actual movie. No it really isn’t scary, but it does come into play. In the musical, there is Eric (the Phantom), and Christine (the singer). They play off of each other, especially in this song, where there is a slight hint of BDSM in it, where Eric keeps telling her to sing higher and higher (which she submissively does); however, in the original, they portray Eric as a troubled soul, while forgetting that he is responsible for a person dying in the theater he is in. As already stated, Henk Poort played the role of Eric in the Dutch production of the musical, and is Andrew Lloyd Webber’s favorite phantom (his words: Henk is THE PHANTOM). In 2002, Nightwish covered this song for their album Century Child, which was Marko’s first album with the band, so this song was originally sung by Tarja Turunen (have a look and reaction to the Nightwish cover of the song from End of an Era). In that version, they thought that since Eric was responsible for the death of that character, portray him as more sinister instead of troubled. So that’s what Marco did with his singing. Now, to Beste Zangers. When Floor found out that she would be on the show with Henk, she asked if they could cover Phantom of the Opera with him. Henk agreed, only on the condition that he would get to perform it with her and Nightwish. This allowed Nightwish to tour the Netherlands for the first time, and yes, that performance did happen. Floor and Henk are using the Nightwish arrangement of the song here, which is how it was arranged for Tarja and Marko.. but you can see how everyone reacted. If going down this route, you should next react to Floor’s performance of Vilja Lied (pronounced Veelya Leed), which is German for Vilja’s Song, from the aria The Merry Widow. This was performed for Henk, as Henk was the featured artist the premiere episode of this season. Floor was the first performance, so as floor was unknown at the time, you’ll get to see 7 different reactions to her singing while reacting to it yourself. Be sure to find the UA-cam clip that has the commentary both before and after the song, as it explains A LOT, and keep in mind that Beste Zangers is NOT A COMPETITION SHOW. It is about singers from different genres getting to know each other and singing songs that have relevance to their lives; hence why the commentary is important, because it explains why this show is what it is.
I honestly couldn't pick just one of her other Best Zangers performances that was my fav. I like all of the following from her season on the show - so here you go. :) Definitely check out the first one first. She sings that one in Spanish - which isn't a language she knew at all. She was pretty nervous, but killed it. Oh .... and Lulu will love her dress in that one (I guarantee it)! This is my favourite version because Floor's singing is much closer to the original. The first time all the other singers were shocked was when Floor sang her first song to Henk Poort, a rock version of Vilja Lied from The Merry Widow opera.
Donna: "should do a country western song". Well, Floor does do one song from this same show that has a CW flavor: Written by the young guy on the couch, entitled: "About Love, I Don't Know A Thing", Great song! If you do choose to view it, try to get one video that has the introduction interiew that is followed by the song. Gives some great background info.
Not even close to as epic as this duet. In the Broadway shows and the 2004 movie, I don't recall Christine and the Phantom dressed like Floor and Henk with tattoos on her arms and the Phantom running around in jeans and a t-shirt.
As a gag, she even sang the phonebook of, I think Amsterdam. The Phantom of the Opera is a musical by Andrew Loyd Weber, the most successful composer of musicals on Earth. He said that Henk was his favorite Phantom. Ladies have a pleasant weekend. Elmar from Germany
🤗🍒🤘🏻😘Hey, finally what a song from Floor and Henk, but listen to all these singers from Beste Zangers 2019 where they performed for each other, you don't know what you hear and see
Actually, Floor was virtually unknown. The Netherlands has virtually no singers in the metal genre. They rarely had played concerts there, and radio stations didn't really play their records. She accepted a request to be on the show to raise awareness for herself and the band.
Floor would definitely make a C&W song sound great. If she is also able to sing a Jazz song "Slow, Love, Slow" @ Fort Lauderdale ua-cam.com/video/mSzEJ855YFg/v-deo.htmlsi=cYxMZ5OU8jGc__iT and even a telephone book (there is a youtube video of it youtube .com/shorts/gmjIHx10g1U?si=zgD1dRYQXvfyczDf , then what she can't do still has to be invented.
Congratulations, you've found the Beste Zangers rabbit hole! This season (2019) has got to be the best. There are absolutely stunning performances by Floor, Henk, Emma, Samantha, Rolf, Tim, and Ruben. YT user "Paul H" has put English subtitles on every episode, and they are really worth watching. Hearing the stories behind why each one chose a particular song adds so much. And over the course of the season, there's more than one song that has them passing the box of tissues around.
I think this guy, Henk Port, was Floors mentor in her youth. He is the most wellknown male opera singer from the Netherlands. (Yes, Floor are from Netherlands even though she lives in Sweden now, with the Sabaton drummer Hannes.) Great duet. ❤
Sorry Northman, Henk was not her mentor. She saw the PotO at Scheveingen were Henk was performing for about 600 x. She was impressed and that's why she requested this.
By now you know the format of the show. You may not yet know that Floor enjoyed working with the show's house band, the Marcel Fisser Band, so much that soon after the series she contracted them to be her backing band for solo performances. Since 2020 they have regularly performed with her in her solo career that parallels her Nightwish duties. At one Festival she (and they) performed a full set during the day, and then she fronted Nightwish the same evening.
If the composer rated Henk Poort as “Best” , you are beter as the composer and Sarah can sing and Michael also, but if you want to compare, what’s impossible, than compare the clean and distorted versions from both of them.
Hello Ladies The film in 2004 and various stage productions since 1985 are based on a Novel by Gaston Leroux which is set in the Paris Opera House and tells the story about a musical genius who has facial disfigurement and lives a solitary existence in the basement of the building. He falks in love with a young female soprano but gets insanely jealous when she falls in love with a male singer. The original stage production was put together in 1985 by English Composer and Producer Andrew Llloyd Webber. It opened in London in 1986 with Lloyd Webber's wife Sarah Brightman paying the Soprano and Comedy Actor. MICHAEL CRAWFORD playing the Phantom. He shocked everyone with his voice! He's done other stage performances including the lead role in Barnum the life story of Phileas T Barnum the US Circus owner. Crawford sang and did all his own stunts! I've seen both shows. Phantom (Lloyd Webbers version of Phantom of The Opera is still on at His Magesty's Theatre in London's West End now! 38 years after it was first performed and still attracting audiences. This performance and Lloyd Webber's lyrics explain why! Really enjoyed your reaction thanks.
Donna was right about Beste Zangers. This is a program where different artist within different genres of music come together and try to honor each other by singing each others songs or songs that are special for the other artists. There is also a flemish version of this program which is called Liefde voor muziek.
Saw Phantom of the Opera live on stage in London it was a 70th birthday preasent .Realy good if you ever get a chance to see the stage version go for it ,,😎
Phantom was originally a stage musical which closed after 35 years on Broadway. Movies have been made, etc. I'm not sure I'd classify it as scary, more as gothic.

I haven't heard her do country..yet... like you did say, give her anything, she can sing it, I believe so too. For this program she took sspanish lessons to sing a song in spanish, she did an opera song for Henk.

4:49 Andrew Lloy Weber had made the Musical Version.. and every country ti played it had their "own"by Weber approved Phantom.. Henk was and for the Dutch after all these years, here cementing it, still THE DUTCH PAHNTOM...he is a musical star here, and sings opera and operette. It played here in 1994 or so I believe, Netherlands .. Greetings for this sloppy, but well menat comment/educational bit to you three lovely crazy, funny lasses... lots of warmth anf cheers from The Netherlands :) you rock, ladies, Up the Irons!! ( you know)
i am still partial to the original version with micheal crawford and sarah brightman but this was a good rendition. and having been a former classical singer myself and having performed this song myself i am very familiar with it and how tricky it is. lol he "eggs her on" because its part of the song
Because I'm a chess nerd, and this fits: Queen to d6. Checkmate. And for 8 seconds! 😮 By the way, ladies, you should know: If not for Henk Poort playing the Dutch Phantom in the 1990s, Floor would never have become a singer. It is because he inspired her to sing, that we know who Floor even is, let alone how good Floor has made Nightwish. We owe this man a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid.
A small point : Yes his character was absolutely egging on her character. Not so much Henk egging on Floor. It's a minor difference, but if you know the whole show, it's kind of important. It's actually more famous as a musical theater show, than a movie. And I really don't think it qualifies as "scarey". I HIGHLY recommend seeing the theater show. (Live preferably, even if it's "local theater") It's absolutely one of the best musicals EVER.
So now people will tell you to do the Nightwish version from 2022 in Amsterdam, where Henk joined them on stage. It ups the epic level to even higher proportions.
The epic level went down, not up with Nightwish. I take Tarja and Marko 2005 over that. For Phantom of the Opera, you have to dress the part. In this show Floor and Henk have dressed the part, looks like a real musical performance. In the Broadway musicals and the 2004 movie, I don't recall Christine dressed like Floor and having tattoos on her arms, the Phantom surely didn't run around in jeans and a t-shirt.
@@bennybuffylove It's all subjective. I don't care how they are dressed or what tattoos they have. I just care about their musical abilities. I'm happy to leave it to others to suggest the Marko & Tarja version. It's good, but it's not my favourite. I much prefer Floor to Tarja.
When Floor did this show she wasnt that well known in her native Holland (Netherlands). Rock and Metal is not as commercially presented on Radio over in Europe. Floor could walk down any City or town in her home country and wouldnt have been recognised until this show aired. That is very different now tho lol

Phantom of the opera is a 1986 musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Henk played the Phantom in the Netherlands and was a childhood hero to Floor.
Immediate THUMBS UP! Love this from Floor & Henk!
As always .. a great reaction from this 3 generation team ! ..greets from the Netherlands
Thank you 🙌
This video was one of the Internet-breaking videos of 2019 (obviously for GREAT reason). I am surprised none of you heard about it before now... Oh, well. You know about it now! :)
This was THE LAST performance of that night and the Finale to that entire season of Beste Zangers.
Kathy you look so beautiful today.❄️❤️
Thank you so much
Well said Lulu! We all love her haha
That is how the Musical goes "Sing for me". There is a video of Floor singing a phone book.
floor has even sung a phonebook live

Tim Akkerman knew floor before ;-)
@@christianmohr1491 Yeah, I know Tim did. 😏
Talk about setting the bar REALLY HIGH for that whole season! :D
@@christomashofski9160 Tim knew her a bit better than that, they used to perform together.
@@apveening Cool! I'd like to check some of them out! Any suggested links to point me to the correct rabbit hole?
I was able to watch this whole series on UA-cam before the benevolent overlords yanked it off. It was glorious! And no, these artists did not really know Floor since she wasn't really well known in her own country (Nightwish is Finnish and Floor is Dutch). They know her now!
That last note got you all, as it does.
Requested a LOOOOOOT!
Now you know why!
Henk was an inspiration for a teenage Floor, he was THE Phantom for The Netherlands.
She enthusiastically accepted the invite to "Beste Zangers", when she heard he would also be a guest!
The thunderclap at the beginning was real, they were in the middle of a storm,
if you look to the left of the screen with a close up of Floor, you can see a stream of water from the roof.
Notice the water feature has ripples?
They made a fantastic connection together, promising to perform this on stage, with Nightwish...
Just list,'n, enjoy and never forget ❤❤❤
this was reciorded just around lockdowns.. she was fangirling in this show that her Idol Henk Poort was there with her... at the end of the recordings the participants ask the others for a duet.

Wonderful performance. Couldn't understand a word since she chose to sing it in German. But I loved it.
Floor Jansen & Henk Poort - Dangerous Game
I concur
Oh yes :-) ...
Floor did something country-ish on Beste Zangers. It is called “I Don’t Know a Thing About Love.”
The version with Marco and Tarja is good, but Nightwish with Floor and Henk performing this song live in Amsterdam is epic
Not even close to as epic as this duet. In the Broadway shows and the 2004 movie, I don't recall Christine and the Phantom dressed like Floor and Henk with tattoos on her arms and the Phantom running around in jeans and a t-shirt.
For a Floor song that sounds kinda country ( to my ears), try this Floor solo music video:
Me without You.

Amerongen, a village in the Netherlands. Not Amsterdam.
Same song, same singers but backed by the fabulous Nightwish - live in Amsterdam!!😊 Great job ladies 😊
Thanks so much!!
Henk Poort does a country cover on this show of "Your Man".
You forgot Simone Simons from Epica
Floor would definitely make a C&W song sound great. If she is also able to sing a Jazz song "Slow, Love, Slow" @ Fort Lauderdale ua-cam.com/video/mSzEJ855YFg/v-deo.htmlsi=cYxMZ5OU8jGc__iT and even a telephone book (there is a youtube video of it youtube .com/shorts/gmjIHx10g1U?si=zgD1dRYQXvfyczDf , then what she can't do still has to be invented.
Shallow may as well be a C&W song and she also sang that on Beste Zangers.
Henk "telling" her to sing is actual lyrics of the performance by the character Erik/Phantom.
Yup your Texas is showing i love that accent all the best from Alberta Canada.
That message that you looked so beautiful was from me wintersun Alex❄️❤️🌹
Definitely check out the live show nightwish phantom of the opera features Henk Poort ziggy dome 2022 or 2023 request
2022 december, I was in the Ziggo Dome
100%
Her singing Vilja Lied from the same show, first episode. You may want to watch the lead up/follow up too. turn on subtitles.
Henk was one of the OG phantoms from the original stage productions.
Nice reaction,👍 and yes, what a surprise😍.
This is the most beautiful version I have ever heard🤘
Congratulations, you've found the Beste Zangers rabbit hole! This season (2019) has got to be the best. There are absolutely stunning performances by Floor, Henk, Emma, Samantha, Rolf, Tim, and Ruben. YT user "Paul H" has put English subtitles on every episode, and they are really worth watching. Hearing the stories behind why each one chose a particular song adds so much. And over the course of the season, there's more than one song that has them passing the box of tissues around.
Maybe the best duet ever!!!!!!
I think this guy, Henk Port, was Floors mentor in her youth. He is the most wellknown male opera singer from the Netherlands. (Yes, Floor are from Netherlands even though she lives in Sweden now, with the Sabaton drummer Hannes.)
Great duet.
Henk Poort was THE Dutch Phantom!!!! Even the composer agreed that he might be the best of all "Phantom" singers.
Nope
Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford are the best ever. This one isn’t even close.
Your opinion but still Henk is considered one of the absolute best phantoms of the producer@@stephanhamilton2083
My personal favorite was the one from the original Canadian cast, colm Wilkinson. This one is a close second though and amazing.
@@stephanhamilton2083 Andrew Lloyd Weber disagrees.
If the composer rated Henk Poort as “Best” , you are beter as the composer and Sarah can sing and Michael also, but if you want to compare, what’s impossible, than compare the clean and distorted versions from both of them.
Hello Ladies
The film in 2004 and various stage productions since 1985 are based on a Novel by Gaston Leroux which is set in the Paris Opera House and tells the story about a musical genius who has facial disfigurement and lives a solitary existence in the basement of the building.
Saw Phantom of the Opera live on stage in London it was a 70th birthday preasent .Realy good if you ever get a chance to see the stage version go for it ,,😎
The same show Henk Poort The sound of Silence and Floor Jansen singing Shallow
OMG I love Donna's shirt! I used to have one like it except mine was blue. I wore that shirt everywhere 😂
Phantom was originally a stage musical which closed after 35 years on Broadway. Movies have been made, etc. I'm not sure I'd classify it as scary, more as gothic.
The vilja song she sung in Beste Zangers was also great. This was a song she sung especially for Henk Poort.
@floorjansen These ladies want to hear you sing country ;-) 🤘
She lives on a farm in middle-of-nowhere Sweden. It could happen!
@@jeffk1482I think there's a rumor that she moved now with her family, but of course nobody knows where until she tells. We all know she doesn't feel nice with crazy fans jumping the fence at night😅
@@tsiouparoglou4493 I hope that’s a rumor…that she had to move. If she moved, I hope it was for another reason, and NOT crazy fans and losing her privacy.
@@jeffk1482 no I don't think that something like that has already happened, although her farm is as you correctly said in the middle of nowhere in the woods, excuse me if I'm mistaken. I mean that she will mention her moving, only when she's totally sure that it's totally "safe", regarding also the kids.
Country & Western song ?! Ladies, same show Beste Zangers 2019, Henk Poort with the cover song Your Man. And for Lulu's birthday also The Sound of Silence, the same Henk Poort, again the same show Beste Zangers 2019.
Love you mum❤
Your mum is right. He was pushing her.. thsat was exact what he said after the show.
well done...
From the same show you gotta check out Henk's duet with Emma Heesters, she's the young lady on the couch. They sing Vivo Per Lei and it will drop your jaw.
Yeh she could even make a country and western song sound good! Almost an impossibility 🤣
You guys crack me up lol. Well done another fun reaction Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed
Another epic Floor Janssen performance; Euphoria
Ladies I watched your reaction to this video and thought you would like to see Henk sing "Sound of Silence" to Floor from the same show. He does an amazing version of Simon and Garfunkel song. It's a great video to see. Peace, Bill.
u can watch Flor singing in spanish on the same show, or Tim Akerman singing Nightwishes song NEMO in diferent style .its awsome .
Donna is also right on the ' starstruck thing' :) Henk was her hero when she was young. (still is :)
9:14 ... you are so close Donna, she moved to Sweden, her husband is drummer for Sabaton, they own a swedish ranch.. I haven't heard her do country..yet... like you did say, give her anything, she can sing it, I believe so too. For this program she took sspanish lessons to sing a song in spanish, she did an opera song for Henk.
You will hear the Phantom of the Opera through Hocus Pocus by Focus! 😉
Henk is a famous Dutch opera singer. A County song? Check out this one from the same show. Floor sang it for the young man on the couch who wrote this song about his parents divorce.

The final note is usually a E6, but Floor for workplace safety sang a D6 This is is perfectly ok, she is looking after her voice.

Because I'm a chess nerd, and this fits:
Queen to d6. Checkmate.
And for 8 seconds! 😮
By the way, ladies, you should know: If not for Henk Poort playing the Dutch Phantom in the 1990s, Floor would never have become a singer. It is because he inspired her to sing, that we know who Floor even is, let alone how good Floor has made Nightwish. We owe this man a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid.
Whenever Floor hits a D6 my legs turn to jelly
Another performance by those two titans. Sweet curse, a song from her former band written by her.

Me encantó su reaccion, deberian ver la película de El fantasma de la ópera, es muy buena
another duet by them two....same show: ua-cam.com/video/TkGRugbzhng/v-deo.html
Vivo per lei song by Henk Port and Emma Heesters. You don't wanna mis that.
When Floor did this show she wasnt that well known in her native Holland (Netherlands). Rock and Metal is not as commercially presented on Radio over in Europe. Floor could walk down any City or town in her home country and wouldnt have been recognised until this show aired. That is very different now tho lol
