Finesse swim jig bluegill with 3" swimbait has worked great for me when it's tough. Hard to beat a ned or shakey head anywhere anytime for numbers or size
Awesome video!!! Something I needed a couple years back but glad to get the tips to help me out. Looks like I was fishing as a Co-Angler the wrong way so now when I'm in the back I'll try these tips!!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!
Thanks! I had several co-anglers just do amazing out of the back of my boat. Including some big bass check winners by focusing on that slightly deeper water.
No worry about that here Steve, don't have a boat or a friend with a boat! LOL Hey Steve, ever use the drop shot this time of year in 40-45 degree water or, is it not an effective technique this time of year? I tried a bit but, not even a bite! Thanks.
Depending on the waters you fish or the part of the country you are in, the fish can be very tight to the bottom. Some winter bass will even come up with mud on their bellies. Instead of a drop shot I usually use something like vertically jigging a damiki rig.
Another thing I would be doing if I was a co in a big tournament, I would be pestering the ever living heck out of the pro, lol! Why are you using that presentation? What is it that you're seeing? What are you looking for? Why? What else do you think might work? They would probably not be very happy with me after about 20 minutes.
I let my son control the boat all of the time. This is good stuff.
It definitely is an entirely different approach depending on the body of water.
Hey, Steve, pray you are well. Good stuff, Steve
Thank you! I am. Really enjoying watching all the big football games yesterday and tonight. Pray you are doing amazing as well!
