Nice! Looks like I'm going to have to break down and get this pedal that I've been eyeballing for a couple of years. I principally want to use it to warm up and fatten mostly clean jazz guitar but I also have a similar synth setup as you and it definitely can play a role le almost anywhere - probably vocals as well. Cool melodies you got there too!
Yeah, I agree it’s very versatile. Strymon clearly has found a way to make this warble warm tone that sounds good on right about anything. I use it in every jam and on every instrument ( usually one or two at the same time) Thanks 🙏🏻
Thanks again ! At this moment I'm overthinking to buy a Strymon Sunset or Riverside. But because of your videos the Deco is added to my list. So now it's getting harder to choose, thanks 😂
Ghegheghe. Thanks UA-cam for all these options that we never knew existed ;P But on a serious note, the Sunset and Riverside seem to be mono, which would rule them out for me. I also want to use my pedals on stereo sounds, so a lot of these guitar pedals are ruled out.
On the moog minitaur jam you are using Deco on the master right? it sounds insanely good.. perfect gluing sauce.. I'm blown away!!! and I have to say your song/jam help a lot to bring out its amazing character 👏👏
Thank man. I have the Deco V2 in a send return FX loop, so i can choose to send stuff trough it 'and' sometimes (usually) I also add the dry. So it is not on the master in my setup.
Yeah, something special happened there. The Deco V2 can give that when you hit the sweet spot. Thanks for the reminder btw, I have to try this combo again. Usually I don't run the peak through it, because it already has nice saturation in itself, but when you push multiple instruments through the Deco, it can get either completely out of hand, or get you somewhere beautiful
@@tricks-and-tips I'm thinking about this pedal to process the output of the Digitone that plays my setup synth parts, but I guess it could be weird with all 4 parts running different instruments from sub bass to pads and rythmical bleeps and boops, all inside one single Deco... but I love its sound and tweakability
@@exdvayne Yeah, that can become either very good or a complete mess. I tried running everything through an Analog Heat 2 when I was testing it and it was nice but got out of hand quickly and the AH2 has this 'ploink' sound on the kick, which I did not like. ua-cam.com/video/INvPWNd4thU/v-deo.html In hindsight I should have kept it, but yeah, it's gone now (and gone up in price waaaaaaay too much for me) I now understand what I 'should' do with it better. I always assumed the DT has good saturation (drive) on its own, or am I wrong?
Hi, does the collider provide any saturation? I was thinking that rather than have a reverb pedal plus a deco, it may be possible to get it done with just a collider but I am guessing it isn't.
The Peak and Deco sound incredible
Absolutely. Polyphonic sounds through the Deco are lovely

The distortion sounds great !! Mixed with thr synth keys was Suppeer nice sound
Thanks. Yeah, I really like what I'm hearing so far!
Very impressive!
Thanks a lot 🙏🏻
Great demo, thanks!
Tack så mycket!
This pedal sounds really, really good! I especially liked it on the peak patch 👌 Classic mode on keys really nice as well...
Thanks! Yeah, I agree ☝🏻
I’ve just recorded a shorts with the deco. Will probably edit it tomorrow. Sounds very nice

Sounds so good!! What are you running on the tablet?
Thanks! That’s the Behringer X Air edit app for my XR18
I laughed with you at 11' ahahah

Not on the ‘dry’ signal. It does some saturation on the delay in some algorithms, but never on the original signal. So I need both 😂
Smooth
Thnx. I really like the Deco V2 so far 😎
Cheers!!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
that laugh, best thing when you create music
Yeah indeed!
