Hey, I want to say thank you for this. I bought one of these kits second hand and I'm pretty sure it came with everything from the kit, but there is no way I could have gotten it set up with the included materials. This video is a must-watch for this kit if you are new.
Thanks for this video. I am hoping you can help with a problem that i am having with the Elinchrom D-Lite 4 light kit. I got this used lighting kit from a relative. After powering both strobes all the functins seem to work except when I simultaneously press the up and down button to reach the menu. For some reason the menu to set up the group or frequency channel does not appear on screen. Any suggestions on how to get these to operate properly? I followed every step on video and can't get the menu screen to poppulate. Thanks for your help.
I can get everything working as you did in the video - but the shutter button is not firing the transmitter. It usually works once or twice, then stops working completely. I can fire and control the lights from the transmitter, just not from the shutter button. Would love some help!
@@PhotoVideoEDU It worked perfectly when I used a Canon DSLR(550D). Always had the same issues with the 5 different Pentax DSLR I tried(K70, K50, K30). My current solution is to just use the Canon, but I'd like to use the Pentax cameras in the future.
Thanks for this - I bought a secondhad D4 setup without a manual. One thing I keep getting is a E4 error(Charge Fault). It says this happens when it has a time out during charging. However when I switch it off for 2 mins and back on the E4 comes back again. Is there an easy way for me to check without having Elinchrom service centre looking at it? Thanks

Hi, we are using three of these in our studio. How do you set the power levels to go lower than 2.0? One of our units can go down to 1.0, but the other 2 only go down to 2.0 (all 3 are identical) Thanks
The usability of the menues and devices are terrible. Expensive equipment that cannot afford a proper amount of buttons and text next to them. This could be sooo much better! But the video is older - let's see if you improved the stuff by now.
for example_ why can't there be the display style of the skyport at the back of the lamp? how much extra does that cost? 80 cent?! i don't understand those decisions. Even the guy in the video is confused when checking the setup!

What my mean by “continuous” is always on
While this unit does have a modeling light, it is not recommended to be used as a continuous light.
Does the El-19368 skyport work with nikon z7?
Hi, the EL19368 is considered a "universal" transmitter and should work with the Z7.

Can you see the lamp power other places then on the back of the head?
You can if using the Elinchrom Skyport Plus HS trigger
You can see the power level on an Elinchrom enabled Sekonic meter and on the Skyport Plus HS transmitter.
