Razing the capital this early reminds me of a playthrough I did a year ago. Ma Teng didn't keep the yellow turbans in check & they got out of control. Eventually they took the capital chang an, & I remember laughing a lot at the idea of gong du & his buddies getting a hold of the emperor 🙈😂 poor liu xie. I recall seeing the notification about the emperor & was confused for a sec & then saw gong du had the capital😁 I laughed so hard But because they got him it, imperial intrigue was gone & China became the wild west. It was fun🙃
"Always feels like a school of fish balling up when a shark is circling... except for this shark has AOE." (as Lü Bu is castually racking up his kill count by 200 units with that single slam) I almost choked on my drink when you said that, surely one of the greatest Serious Trivia quotes ever. :D
Jia Xu's hidden strike has been one of my favorite abilities but I never knew it made him hidden while it was active. I hope to see more versatile abilities like it in the sequel.
The message said the emperor ran to "rebels"? XD that's so weird??? So he might still exist in a corner of the map, maybe Han Sui or Shie Xie lost a county to the rebels. So wild.
Got back into three kingdoms yesterday decided to start lu bu on normal and I forgot what a fucking monster this guy can be as long as you keep him on horseback. My last battle before getting off he single handle killed 1300 people alone. I only had to use my calvary to chase down archers and enemy calvary that got near my army
@@SeriousTrivia I was just thinking for when you build actual armies with no more income then your family estate you'll be in a bug deficit so have a lump some you can fall back on might be an idea?
Here you are... beating everything with just. Lu Bu and micro but when I be trying one normal and hard difficulty they are soooo hard to fight against anyone even if I use my army... are the heros more meant to be used how you use them? Idk maybe I should run records mode and give it a shot heros can single handedly on either side win the battle
In my experience options given for capturing the emperor are pretty limited. When capturing him as Zhen Jaing he just respawned under the 2nd highest ranked han faction at the time. In a Lu Bu Campaign as enemy of the Han I wanted to capture and execute him but the option never triggered and he escaped to Vassal Master Yuan Shao. Options to ransom the emperor as a trade item or immediately execute him to gain massive prestige and diplomatic bonuses and penalties the rest of the map could have made securing the emperor a much more valuable mission and reward.
When wiping out enemy garrison, it's fine to leave 11 units since it's already less than the 10% of the original unit size. I know it's not much but you can save more time than wiping out the entire unit and you can have more chase potential for a garrison wipeout.
Lü Bu bout to single handedly increase and decrease the global temperature with this one trick

35:40 "Honestly... Beatable"
Me: *chokes a bit with tea* Wait... What?
The siege of Luoyang fight is foggy and gloomy, which was an accurate foreshadow of it being razed twice in this episode.
I was looking forward to this all day 😁

I guess Lü Bu is solving the whole issue behind Three Kingdoms before it starts. Can't fight over the empire if there's no empire.

Hell yes been waiting all day for this 😁👍🏾
I love your Total War Three Kingdoms video and especially love it more when it involves the great Lu Bu!

“Light in the Darkness”, isn’t that Zhao Yun? XD
Happy the 3 kingdoms content is back
Lu Bu is like if I can't have china no one will
Ngl if only it was possible for lu bu to realistically complete every greatest warrior target i would have loved to see speed run challenge for that
hard to speed run it since there are characters that don't spawn into the game until 208 on the list
@@SeriousTrivia plus you have go get lucky for he yi as well unless you rush down there in first few turns
finally its episode 2...
have been waiting all day

He entered his teenage years, it’s his rebellious phase.
Oh not Chen gong he was super loyal to lu bu even though he didn’t deserve it
Banishing unique guy?! Heresy! Lu Bu is not happy.

would it be money efficient to sack withdraw and then raze with another general following behind?
Yes but we also don’t really have much use for money

definitely will consider it

Hi from France and thx for all your video
When wiping out enemy garrison, it's fine to leave 11 units since it's already less than the 10% of the original unit size. I know it's not much but you can save more time than wiping out the entire unit and you can have more chase potential for a garrison wipeout.
also, from my observation when chasing units, spear cavs is better than sword cavs when chasing since they kill enemy units faster.
while that is true, the melee cavs I can use without worrying about losses from archer units
woah new video transition
I recommend you to kill zilong first because he gives lu bu fatigue immunity
Wait if u raze something, u don’t get much? Wow
Will MTU or other mods make an appearance during this campaign?
nope, don't see a point of adding character portraits when we are executing everyone anyways.
So will we get some food in the future somehow?
why do we need food?
@@SeriousTrivia we don't? Like not needing another army? Well this is Lu Bu..... who can solo everything once its right
@@jherome95 food is not needed for another army. Food only balances consumption in settlements and our gate pass does not need any food
do you use any mods for this playthrough ?
No mod just vanilla
@@SeriousTrivia the missing set item on vanilla is so annoying :(
2+5 = 8? SHAMEFUL DISPLAY!!!!
love the series and the Serious trivia
