This was amazing and very helpful!! What a great episode guys!! 😊 Dragos seems like the perfect embassador for romania! If i ever get the chance to ride through romania then because of this video. Thanks guys 🙌
Excellent episode guys...it was great to hear from someone as informed and interesting as Dragos...he is a great ambassador for Romania 🇷🇴 and also for motorcycle travel. Cheers Steve
Hello Nordic ADV TV How nice it is that you are treating the country with so many prejudices, which it does not deserve at all. In my view, a Utopia, a sublime offroad or on road.. a country where you are greeted with warmth, in every small town, you are greeted by happy smiling citizens of the world who sometimes drive dirty MCs. Have been there quite a few times, both as a transit country, on the way to Turkey. But have also used Romania as a holiday country. Loves to travel the country on the back of my goat. Keep up the good work… REMEMBER if you come to dk. Then you are very welcome to stay with us. Best wishes René
It sounds and looks like a perfect Motorcycle Country, and Moldova is really a country we would love to learn more about as well, do you know of any great ambassadors in your country? Please let us know 👏🏻
This fits perfect for our needs 👍 This year tet-sweden and next year is romania on the bucketlist. Now i can save this video and watch again when needed. Thx guys and especially to dragos
Very interesting format gang. The presentation is top notch. No issues with the mics. Robert has a good Shure now. Sounds great. Great way to prep for a ride. Sorry I missed the live version. Dragos, your road friend. Great to see him. Now I know where corn bread comes from. Our home liquors are moonshine, 140 to 180 proof, and homebrew with fermented fruits of different kinds. 80 proof or so, kick your butt before you know it but a really good tasting drink. Very interesting. Knowledge that is needed for most every location. That will vary for specific places , different cultures, etc. Really enjoyed. Now, will this be a regular scheduled event? I missed it but that's ok. What about live chat and questions from listeners? Thanks my Nordic ADV Brothers.
Hi Sam, Thanks for your feedback. Much appreciated! This episode was never live, we recorded this as a pod cast and uploaded it afterwards. This is probably the way we will continue with this type of pod, to make the format convenient for the guest. We miss the listener/viewer interaction though, one way to reach this is to upload the pod cast as a "Premier", not live then but with an open chat during the release, which in this turn gives us time to interact in the chat with You while we are listening together. We are still in a learning curve ☝😁🍺🍺🙌.
nice setup, Very information, very good walk true of Romania. ( thanks alot to Dragos!!) Keep it up Nordic ADV TV 🙏 small comment. you will find a Ghostrider in any country ;-) Also a lot of ohter country's are way better to drive a bike in then here in the north :) We also miss spilt lane rules in Nordic country. Big wish :) Regards Poul Olsen Denmark
Dragos comments on brown bears were interesting, I saw a UA-cam vid of one chasing a skier there...I laughed at the common sense chat about food and camping...here's one, no cooking bacon in camp...hahaha, that would attract unwanted attention in my area (Canada west) a local friend of mine is trying to get me to go to Romania, he did a tour with MARIA DANESCU a while back and loved it. You guys should do a Sweden/ Norway/ Finland chat as well for those of us who don't live there and have only small clues from your great videos.
@@nordicadvtv There is a lifetime of ADV riding over here, endless roads, mountains, oceans, lakes, rivers, and deserts can be seen in a day. Then there are the BDR's in the US - I've been on the Washington State BDR - it's about 3 - 4 day run. There is enough just in British Columbia to keep you busy for about a decade....🥃😎
Thank you mate, we really enjoy this as well. So much great information it can be hard to get elsewhere. We are not sure yet, we are working on getting enough ambassadors onboard to speak with us. but we promise to have more info about this when we have more to share about it. If you have any countries you want us to cover, please let us know. // -The Best Boys-
@@nordicadvtv Well I guess the most obvious choice to start with would be Sweden, or Norway. The wealth of knowledge that combined, you all have would surly fill an hour. For me more on road content would be great, I tried off road riding a few times, and was off the bike more than I was on it. 😒, but I realise that off road riding is in your hearts.
You are right, thanks for this comment. We have that in Scandinavia as well as other places in Europe/World. Not fun and should definitely be risk mitigated with care and treatments.
Thank you Markus for watching. Both system work fine. It depends where you want to sleep. If you go up, there are almost no trees. But if you choose to sleep in lower altitudes than a hammock will do just fine. I am a tent guy myself but I think a hammock would work just fine

Great episode, found it very usefull and myth clearing.
Glad you enjoyed it! Cheers
What a brilliant concept. Really great to get expert advise from people in the know. So having said that, what country is next. 😀😀

For some reason Dragos did not mention tick-borne encephalitis. At any rate, I would be more afraid of it than bears and wolves put together.

I would like a follow up on this episode . Honest stuff about Romania
What would you like to know more about?
Maybe one question missed. Better camp with tent or hammock? Or does it not matter?
Good question! Dragos may chim in here and answer that question.
