It sure is growing, thanks to all of you that watch the content! I charged 3 hours for this job, it did take me a little longer than that due to some Software issues i was having with my diagnostics system.
I have a few questions about when you replaced the DPS. Is it possible to put the steering post, or the Pittman arm in a different spline when reinstalling? Compared to where it was originally? Wondering because I noticed my alignment seemed off after mine was replaced under warranty. Is there only 1 way for both of the sets of splines to line up? And did you reset the torque sensor with Buds after installing? Thanks
I’ve had a few issues over that 200,000 but most of them are recalls now. If yours still has its emission system in tact I’d keep an eye on your coolant level. My EGR cooler started leaking around 100,000. I believe it’s a recall now though.
Without Power steering they are pretty rough to steer with tracks especially in the heavy wet snow. This one was supposed to have power steering so it’s even worse than the non dps models.
hey rock quick question for you if you dont mind.i got a 2006 polaris sportsman 500 efi with engine light on.had flashing battery light at high rpm, replaced stator was bad and now all good, but check engine light still on?this year polaris dont have that turn key back and forth and code appears.the check engine dont flash, just stays on.any help would be so great.thank you
Unfortunately I’m not sure unless you could get the check engine to flash to see what code it says. Did you check the running voltage at the battery to make sure it’s not spiking?
My power steering stopped working on my 2020 570 dps but I never got an engine light or anything and have no way too check it for a code, any recommendations besides taking it too a dealer?
I would love to watch the video of the people who work on my machines no BS and you do a excellent job keep it up good content
Thank you, I appreciate that!
Wow a lot to pull off to get to this DPS! Great job thou. ☃️👍👍
Yes absolutely! If it wasn’t for the air box being in the way of the steering stem mount, it probably wouldn’t be to bad..
Keep up the great work and great videos
Thanks!
Can't wait to take out my atv. Trails are closed around me for spring thaw. Youre trails look fun
Trails are closed around me as well. These are my personal trails i was on, which is what i have until around May when the trail system opens up.
Man jour channel is steadily growing, awesome content as always! Nice work! How much time did this job take?

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
Rock, may I ask your opinion on the new single cylinder Outlander vs Kingquad 750 please..
Power steering motor looked a lot easier to change than on the Polaris quads
It was easier than the Polaris, would be a lot easier if the air box didn’t have to be removed.
My tracked 05 800 Sportsman with aftermarket EZ Steer failed at splined coupling. Weld broke at steering stem. Lucky I was going slow.
@@spraukit l have heard a lot of good things about the EX steer setups
I haven’t had much experience with the aftermarket setups. Never seen one brake like that though, did you hit something to cause that?

Made the DPS change look easy. Random question, how’s that EcoDiesel treating you?
I know a lot of people have had issues with them… I’ve been happy with mine though, 210,000 miles and climbing.
@@rockspowersportsthat gives me hope! I like to ask people that have them. I have a 2016 with 100,000miles. I haven’t had any issues either. Cheers.

How was it to drive without PS? looking at buy a non dps model and put tracks on it.

Have you ever disassembled one of those dps motors to see what goes wrong?
Never actually disassembled one on the can am’s.
My power steering stopped working on my 2020 570 dps but I never got an engine light or anything and have no way too check it for a code, any recommendations besides taking it too a dealer?
Mine went out. I’m thinking about removing it all together and just using a straight column to steer.
I got 2020 outlander max xtp 850 all sudden power steering stopped work .......work perfect before shut her off
What does that track module do?
It recalibrates the speedometer due to the lower gearing. Also changes how much assist the eps gives you.
Might be those tracks : )
hi. would it be a good deal to buy honda rincon 2008 650 it has 6000miles of mileage costs around 4-4.5k
Price very’s from place to place. In my area that machine would be around $3000 USD
