Just wanted to thank you for all your videos. I learn so much. Too bad so far away. Good mechanic and honest ones are hard to find. I’m in Calgary alberta Canada. I watch any videos that you put out. Keep it up
Dude you do a really good job of explaining the things you do. Great videos for people who have know idea. I don't have the patience to do that. Keep up the great work.
Hi from Sheffield, South Yorkshire in the UK. Found your Channel via tik tok and really love your longer videos. Now one of my fav channels from the US along with diesel creek. I’ve now got a Suzuki kingquad 750 after my Kawasaki kvf 750 got stolen. I find it amazing how you can leave machines outside and they don’t get stolen, even if they don’t run. Mine now has to have a tracker and is not insured unless I’m sat on it or it’s chained to a static object. We do farm on the urban fringe though. Keep up the good work with the Videos. Especially like the big 2 stroke snowmobile stuff as we just don’t get em over here. Only a few snow days every year. Hope the channel keeps growing it deserves too. Steve.
Hey Steve, glad you found me on here. And I appreciate the kind words about the channel. That’s too bad your Kawasaki got stolen! Luckily I live in a rural area where I don’t have to worry too much about that. They’ll be plenty more snowmobile content but probably not until winter returns or gets closer anyways.
@@rockspowersports Nice sled, save the seat cover hehe...let's hope they changed it. ...a project not so common, I enjoyed it and I will watch it again..cheers!
Hello from Nova Scotia. Enjoy your videos. My KQ was made 11/23 and it’s a 2023, Suzuki was late making them for 2023 I was told. But usually that would mean a 2024 model. (Re: your 2012) first time I’ve seen it like this
I really appreciate the knowledge i just got a 2012 outlander 1000xt and man its gull of problems nice to know i dont need fancy oil i was just about to spend too much money on a tune up when i dont need all that can probably just get everything i need a autozone 😅
I have been following many of your videos and only found you by chance when 1 of your segments hit my feed. I am now a Subscriber and think your content is spot on. With the Can Am 800 I may have missed a video but saw that it was not running well. Can I ask what the issue was, maybe a coil for 1 of the cylinders or fuel delivery?
Not sure if your aware or not, probably not a big deal where your at beings its colder climate, but if your down south running these bikes in heat, PUT ENGINE ICE IN THE COOLANT, It helps a hell of a lot,
I really love the can am 570s i got to ride one for a few weeks I can’t remember if it was a renagade or what but it was a newer v twin 570 with the two diff key fobs for sport mode and stock mode and it would pull 75mph now I want the 1000 modle them things really rip lol
That reflector hanging off the front fender, that’s killing me. Couldn’t you use some adhesive and put that back on!!? And the seat…. You should have been a Peach and swooped it out for yours. And would a bit of rust check kill ya on that radiator?
Nice job rock! how much work on the trans does your own Outlander need, or do you know yet? I thought those rad relocates looked silly until, even with some casual riding my T-cat got plugged up and blew the HG (skinniest, longest, most expensive torque-to-yield head bolts ever) now I see the point! Hope you get onto something fun of your own at some point! but customers take priority, especially finicky engine rebuilds.
@@rockspowersports Oh no!! well that sounds like a good plan, but not a quick fix for sure. I think it would make for a pretty good video though, but the fast videos on getting the old ATV's running for a bit are pretty fun too. Hopefully summer sticks with us now, I've had enough snow to last a while!
It’s mainly used for mud riders, it keeps the radiator up high and doesn’t plug up as bad. If it does get plugged up it’s easier to clean out like this.
What's up bro, I'm from Mexico and I have a problem with my 2012 Can Am Outlander 800, which until now I haven't found a mechanic who is good for this type of vehicle, is there any way I can contact you so you can guide me to repair it, I have the tool. but I can't find the fault, I pay for your advisory services, if you could help me I would appreciate it

Northern Michigan here. Thanks for the video always a thumbs up
I'm a car mechanic, not an atv mechanic. I have say watching you I learned a lot about these machines.
Thanks, I’m glad to hear that!

I appreciate that!
I would love to live in such a private open mountain area! Perfect area, trail right in your backyard.
I love the way the rad bracket flips up for easy rad cleaning !!
If you own an xmr tha all do that sir

Nice relocation. Can't wait to see those engine rebuilds youre doing.
I use those same Amazon oil filters and rotella on my renegade 1000 too 👌🏼
Thanks for posting the repair videos- keep up the great work!
Good series, but after it sure would have been nice to see that new seat cover =)
I know.. I asked the customer a few times.. I even had a cover in stock for it.

Glad you enjoy the videos!
Usually that would be a 24 but I wouldn’t be surprised with how late most of the manufactures were during Covid.
Man love this old bikes and make me want to do the same with my two 800 thanks man keep it going
perfect video thanks for sharing hope you make more videos on the older 800 I have an 06 love it
Would really like to see some videos on your engine rebuilds, thanks for the video!
Coming soon!
Nice work. I believe that quad will be back again soon lol.
Let’s hope not..

Your rite on “any oil” kind on this machine BUT has to have Zinc-for flat tap cam
Another great job!☃️👍👍

I’m glad you found the channel and are enjoying it. Yes there is a video on it but what was causing the issue eas a weak fuel pump.
Have you seen the new GM oil drain plugs? 1/4 turn with an O ring, no torquing, so legit.
I haven’t seen them in person but yes I have seen videos of them. Very quick design
Not sure if your aware or not, probably not a big deal where your at beings its colder climate, but if your down south running these bikes in heat, PUT ENGINE ICE IN THE COOLANT, It helps a hell of a lot,
I’ve heard people using it I haven’t ran into any issues yet but I’m sure it helps in hot areas.
@@rockspowersports it definatley does down south here, easy 15-18 degrees cooler

I repaired a renegade 1000 back this winter and had the chance to try it out. They sure do rip!
Man. Unless you’re doing a bunch of mudding. Those relocation kits are an eye sore. It just says hey look at me. I beat the shit out of my machine!
Basically true.
Exactly, and they’re hideous.
No offense to rock but my god it’s the last thing I would ever do besides a snorkel
I’m with you, I’d never snorkel/relocate radiator any machine if I wasn’t mud riding with it.
On top of looking tacky you lose the utility of the front rack

Look like a pretty decently powered quad. I'm looking for something different an would like a Can-am
The 800’s have real good power.

Will it ever go away!😮
Pretty sure it will this time.

Those engines run really hot actually burn your legs, I guess this helps it run cooler?

Mine needs a complete replacement, the bearing let go and ruined the case. I was going to use the outlander 650 tranny in that one.

Doesn’t anyone want to SHIFT ANYMORE!???? Seems like all quads are AuToMaTiC😢
I have questions on a Kawasaki bayou 300 4x4 about transmission sometimes it will shift in reverse sometimes it won't
I have 2011 800 xmr with air suspension that is not working anymore. I can’t adjust it from 1-6 anymore
Haven't watched in a few. Sorry about that. The walls look good.
Thanks, Glad you were able to catch this one!
Sooooo I have an opportunity to buy a 2019 grizzly or.... a 2015 outlander which one do I go with?
what does it mean if there’s smoke coming from the exhaust?
Hi what’s the benefits on moving the rad up higher on the front
For mud riding so it doesn't push thru mud.
It’s mainly used for mud riders, it keeps the radiator up high and doesn’t plug up as bad. If it does get plugged up it’s easier to clean out like this.

Should have made him a deal on a seat cover
