It’s quite obvious that British intel had prior knowledge that the ra were going to break into castlereagh and had ample time to switch documents that would confuse the ra and muddy the waters . Prob this is why the ra did not act on the intel who were informers or not . The Brit’s would have stuck names into the mix . They knew the movements of the papers all along and what safe house they were kept in .

With Donaldson and scapapcici (however it’s spelt) both being British spy’s who must of caused just as much damage as each other but why was scap given a pass and Donaldson killed
He wasn't given a pass, he was hiding in England
I still can’t believe the government hung them both out to dry , I think scapacici was playing both sides and the Ira leaders knew this
Remember that G**** Ad*** and Martin McG********* were the top players that (reportedly) the UK managed to turn. Scap maybe got away with it because the informer pyramid went higher than him.

If Germany can exist in peace even though it has Protestants and Catholics, why can’t Ireland?
Because in. Germany they both had/have the same rights
Because it's not a conflict between Protestants vs. Catholics, i. e. it's not a religious conflict. In Germany both denominations are German.
In Northern Ireland it's different: Catholics=Irish and Protestants=British. It's a conflict between Unionists vs. Republicans.
The religious divide therefore only serves as an easy marker.

Adrian walker , finally somebody speaking the truth it was never a religious war , none of my family were religious yet they were involved in the troubles from start to finish
