VENICE BEACH!!! I am pretty sure they did that in Florida by Scott Fitzgerald when I took a few lessons by him. My memory could be off. I was away for the tournament.
would love to see them set up a platform on a beach, facing the ocean as a backdrop. Couldn't picture a better way to showcase the ability PSA and Squash has to put together events in some very unique and beautiful locations. A huge upside to these glass courts, and certainly something the average viewer does'nt know about the tour.
Use only all-glass courts, I think the German Open had (for the first time I had ever seen) courts with floors that were also glass and it had an excellent appearance for the videos. Put them all inside of a big building that has air conditioning. In this way neither rain, wind, insects, nor surface condensation will affect play. Put the doors of the courts on the sides of the courts. Do not allow advertising above the tin. The tin can have advertising text that changes, but not while play is taking place. Do not allow Joey Barrington to be a commentator, get someone who provides informative analysis. Between individual games have one or two commentators speak with a real pro about the game that just happened, using clips from it. Use a different famous past pro for every high-level match (last 16, say). Create a video that defines squash vocabulary (nick, boast) and explains squash tactics. Use the video to also explain 4 or 5 example sequences (rallies). Put the video out before the Olympics and have it on the LA Olympics web site. Do not waste the opportunity that this - squash being in the Olympics (for the first time) - represents.
Hard agree with much of what you've said - except the Joey comment. Love his colour commentary, great banter and has the voice for it. I've never understood why people love to hate on him so much.

Venice Beach would be so cool!
Loving the new content beyond match play @squashtv
Outdoor court with an indoor backup sounds like a smart plan

Movie studios are a great idea. Imagine putting a court in one of the unused sets - like a cowboy or sci-fi movie.
Las Vegas or los Angeles could be great spots...❤
I'm ok with LA but my first choice would have been San Diego, a jewel in the crown. Skål!
Santa Monica Pier
