3 Min Cute Knotted Hairstyle

- Here is just a quick hair tutorial that only takes a few minutes to do. Great for days where you are in a hurry to do your hair but you still want to look cute (because who doesn't? =D). This cute knotted side bun is super adorable and would be perfect for school/everyday. I don't know about you guys but where I'm living in right now, I can barely stand a day with my hair down.
This hairstyle has a very cute and fun feel. It's kinda messy and looks complicated but it's so easy that you can do it with your eyes closed. I did this hairstyle with mega textured/beachy hair. It was super teased for a runway style up-do hairstyle ouch.... It's a lot easier with clean (or greasy lol) hair but the dryness did make the hairstyle stay put lol.
Ps. I didn't dye my hair again (obviously from my roots lol). My dark dye just faded =( My hair doesn't like being dark.
Pps. I got my Hello Kitty fashion glasses from Argle Centre Mong Kok. You can actually get them almost everywhere in Hong Kong. I wish they're my real glasses O_O They're so fun!
EDIT! I just checked ebay and you can actually find them in all sorts of colours. They cost roughly the same as how much I paid for them in HK. Hope this helps. Just type in 'Hello kitty glasses'. x

Pppps. Oh, almost forgot to mention. Did you notice I show how my hair looks knotted in both sides? I think my side bun always looks best on my right side. You?

It's crazy to me that I subscribed to you 2 years ago because of this video. My English wasn't fantastic 2 years back but now it is! wow... in 2 years oyur english has become... wow!!
I've been trying to do this for the past 4 hours. It's so easy for her. I can't do the knotting right. My fingers can't keep track of everything, the sections get mixed up. I can never do any of the hairstyles she shows. I can barely even do a bun right and everyone does it in seconds without even looking. I'll never be pretty.
Don't say that, you just need some practice thats all.. And everyone one this planet is beautiful/handsome in their own way... :)
this is perfect! it feels like we almost skipped spring this year (it only lasted for like 2 weeks) and now it's boiling hot! i have really long hair, and i can't stand it during the summer, this really helps :)

Amazon. They were really cheap and come with lenses (fake of course) but they are pretty amazing. Hope that helps!

Ugh I love this look but I really don't think any amount of bobby pins could hold the weight of my thick hair in a bun like that and I feel that using a hair tie would make the bun into an odd shape.. :( Heavy hair blues.

My hair is naturally curly, so it's pretty knotty and frizzy. It's hard to do this for me unless I straightened it, so I'll try it the next time I do:) It's super cute!!

Slightly damp, clean hair (think just washed, but not dried) should be just the texture You're looking for! When the hair finishes drying, it will set and be less likely to slip. Being clean, means it will knot easier.

I saw this and did it for my senior pics last year. I was wanting to do it again today when I saw the picture, but realized my hair was too short. I guess I need to not have a pixie cut if I want to mess with hair. It was nice to go back and watch the vid though. =)

It's difficult, you just have to image it's a shoe lace and hold the two pieces and tight it into a knot. The knot doesn't have to be super tight nor neat, or if the whole knotting thing is too hard. You can always opt for a twisted hairstyle in the back which goes into a bun.
