  • We all have probably heard of the Stream Deck, we basically know what it does. But do we need it for our Cantar X3/Mini? More importantly what specific workflow problems does it solve. You may be surprised to find out through this interactive and explorative live stream!

Great video! One thing that I wouldn't like, is the latching of the talk to tracks button. That's an easy way to have something you would say on crewline go out to mix tracks accidentally. I'd like that to be a radio button instead... similar to "shift talk 1 or 2". Thanks Michael!

Glad you brought that up Jake, totally agree. However the latest release removes that feature and gives you a couple new options making it operate just like the X3/mini

thanks for the quick reply... was wondering if you might be able to help... whether its possible to use the two instrument inputs for guitars the other 14 line inputs for outboard gear and the 16 outputs for 8 independent stereo mixes from my daw to an 8 channel headphone amp for Muso's playing live in my studio... think sing it live on you tube or hindly county club type setup using the line16?

I don't see any reason why not, You have the two mic/line/instrument level inputs and then the additional 14 Line / 16 out. And your Rednet app should be able to route your custom cue mixes. But check with Focusrite to be sure it's what you need.

During record, just pressing F2(orF3) let's you toggle between take types. 😊
